Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife-Chapter 584: I Remembered!
Chapter 584: Chapter 584: I Remembered!
Jeffrey Foster had felt a tingling in his scalp the moment he heard Teddy calling out "Mommy." When he saw Brandon Piers suddenly lift Teddy and stand in front of Abigail Green, his nerves tightened. Just as he was about to say something, he heard Brandon’s words.
Jeffrey’s face turned pale instantly.
Abigail looked at the handsome man holding Teddy, who resembled an immortal, asking her with a wronged expression, "Abigail, don’t you want me and Teddy?"
What the hell?
Was this man ill?
Was his brain not functioning properly?
Abigail instinctively glanced at Juliet Rosa. Wasn’t Juliet his wife? Her husband was causing a scene at someone else’s wedding, and she wasn’t stopping him?
Juliet hadn’t expected Brandon would act so suddenly. She sat in her chair, stunned. When she met Abigail’s gaze, she hurriedly explained, "Kiyoko... no, young madam, please don’t misunderstand. I have nothing to do with him."
Abigail was speechless... Young madam? What the hell?
And Juliet wasn’t this man’s wife?
As Abigail’s face was full of confusion, her hand was suddenly grasped, and the next moment, Jeffrey pulled her behind him.
"What are you trying to do?" Jeffrey looked dangerously at Brandon, his peripheral vision skimming over the child in Brandon’s arms.
He had been too careless.
This past month, he had many opportunities to see Teddy, and even heard Abigail briefly mention this child, but he never thought Teddy was Abigail Green’s child.
And Juliet, that foolish woman. They had come to find Abigail, but spending a month together, she hadn’t recognized her!
If anything about them had seemed off, he would’ve been on alert and not let his guard down to this extent.
To the point of absurdly inviting them to his and Abigail’s wedding!
Brandon laughed angrily when he heard Jeffrey’s "what are you trying to do." "Dean Foster, the act has gone on long enough; it should end here. Teddy is still young and can’t be separated from his mom. Please, do us a favor and let our family go."
As he said this, Brandon looked at Abigail, who was hiding behind Jeffrey, his heart aching, "Abigail, come here."
Completely bewildered, Abigail was full of questions. What was happening? Was she Teddy’s mom? And who was this man?
Their family? Was this handsome man referring to himself, her, and Teddy?
Jeffrey protected Abigail behind him, "Second Young Master, I don’t understand what you’re saying. Abigail is my wife."
"Dean Foster, there’s no point in lying. A simple DNA test will expose the truth. Why bother?" Brandon didn’t look at Jeffrey as he continued to stare at Abigail, "Come here, be good. I’ve been looking for you for four months. Do you know I’d go crazy if I couldn’t find you? Teddy and the grandpas are all waiting for you. Aunt Claudia is still at the hospital."
Brandon didn’t know how many memories Jeffrey had cleared from Abigail; whether she didn’t remember him and Teddy at all. But it didn’t matter, he could help her remember bit by bit.
As long as Abigail was willing, everything could start over.
Abigail was completely confused by what he said. What did he mean by looking for her for four months? And what did he mean he’d go crazy if he couldn’t find her? Who exactly was he?
And Teddy she knew, but who were the grandpas?
Abigail felt her brain wasn’t enough to process everything. Looking at the unfamiliar and handsome man, she didn’t know why her heart ached a little. But she quickly got stuck on the problem at hand, looking at Jeffrey in confusion, "Senior, what on earth is going on?"
"Let’s proceed with the wedding first. He probably mistook you for someone else." Jeffrey turned back gently to explain to Abigail.
Abigail also found his words somewhat absurd. How could she be Teddy’s mother? And how could she have been with him?
Although her memory of her grandfather’s death and the loss of her child was a bit blurry, her other memories were clear. She could be absolutely certain that she did not know this man.
Not exactly, it wasn’t that she didn’t know him. She seemed to have some vague impression, her eyes suddenly brightened up, "Senior, I remember."
Boom!
Abigail’s words made Brandon’s and Jeffrey’s minds blow as they stared at her, stunned.
But Brandon’s eyes were filled with joy, while Jeffrey’s were filled with fear.
Jeffrey stared at Abigail in a daze, wanting to reach out and grab her but not daring to. He just looked at Abigail, his voice trembling, "What... what do you remember?"
The hypnosis done by Master Matsumoto couldn’t possibly be so fragile. Jeffrey couldn’t accept it.
Brandon’s tightly pursed lips loosened a bit. He knew his little chubby wouldn’t forget him.
Yet, the next moment, he heard Abigail mumble, "I’ve seen his medical records, but did I perform surgery on him? I can’t quite recall. But wasn’t his ailment a heart condition? How come his brain isn’t functioning well either?"
After asking, Abigail looked confusedly at Brandon’s exceedingly handsome face.
Thinking Abigail had remembered him and wanting to embrace her, Brandon froze and his amber eyes widened, "You..."
"Please mind your behavior. Today is my and my senior’s wedding. If you’re here to attend, you’re welcome. But if you’re just here to cause trouble, then the door is to your right. Leave." Abigail’s attitude was resolute, showing no mercy.
No matter what, today was her and her senior’s wedding. Since she had decided to be with her senior, she wouldn’t consider anyone else. And having known her senior for over ten years, she naturally trusted him more than a stranger.
Moreover, Abigail believed there was nothing wrong with her brain. How could she have a child as big as Teddy with another man?
Even though she didn’t remember when she and her senior had a child, she was sure it couldn’t be with the man in front of her.
Not to mention anything else, it was illogical.
Had she loved her senior for so many years, yet went to marry and have a child with another man?
Was this a joke? And the timing didn’t match either.
For the first time, Brandon heard Abigail speak to him so rudely and even insinuate he was mentally ill?
Huff!
Brandon felt as if he would laugh from anger, "You don’t believe me?"
"Why should I believe you?" Abigail looked at Brandon and countered.
Her words left Brandon speechless. He closed his eyes deeply, suppressing his heartache and agitation, "You don’t have to believe me. Just do a DNA test with Teddy, and everything will be clear."
Abigail didn’t expect the man to be so confident. Her gaze inevitably fell on Teddy.
Finally, her mom noticed him. Teddy was very happy. Trying to get out of Brandon’s arms, he called, "Mommy, Mommy hug, hug..."
The soft childish voice made Abigail’s heart suddenly soften. However, looking at the guests who were watching and discussing, and at the pale face of her senior, Abigail made up her mind, "Okay, but..."
"But what?" Brandon asked urgently.
Jeffrey’s nerves tightened, a painful look appeared in his eyes, "Abigail..."
Abigail reassured her senior with a look, then said to Brandon, "But you have to wait until we finish our wedding."
