Chapter 575: Chapter 575: Inviting the Next-door Neighbor to the Wedding

After breakfast, Brandon Piers took a group of people and left early in the morning.

Just an hour after they left, a car stopped next door.

Abigail held a large bouquet of tulips in her arms, wearing a long dress with a thin wool coat and a black large-brimmed hat. A lace veil half-covered her face, and she wore a pair of low-heeled round-toe shoes. Simply standing there, her whole aura made it hard for people to look away.

"You go back first; I’ll go park the car." Jeffrey Foster said to Abigail in the car, then started the car to find a parking spot.

Abigail nodded, hugged the tulips, and walked toward the villa. Turning her head, she saw new residents moving into the courtyard next door. Just as she was about to leave after a quick glance, she met a pair of bright black eyes.

For some reason, Abigail’s heart trembled lightly, and she was immediately attracted by those eyes. She stared at the child in the stroller, as if her heart and soul were drawn to him.

Abigail always knew she had a strong attachment to children, but she never realized how uncontrollably her heart would ache at the sight of someone else’s child. For a moment, she even wanted to rush over and embrace the little baby.

"What’s wrong with me?" Abigail stood stiffly, just then the child’s grandmother seemed to have finished talking with the mother and turned to look down at the baby, saying something to him. The baby, however, ignored her and continued to look at Abigail.

Seeing that the grandmother was about to look over, Abigail, afraid that she couldn’t control her emotions, hurriedly turned toward the villa.

"Mommy... Mommy, Mommy..." Just as Abigail turned around, Teddy stretched out his little hand from the stroller, pointing at her back and calling out for mommy repeatedly.

Aunt Claudia was startled. She looked up and saw a slender and elegant back. She touched Teddy’s small face, "Teddy misses mommy again. Don’t worry; Daddy will find mommy soon."

With that, Aunt Claudia tenderly picked Teddy up.

The little guy continued to tilt his head in the direction Abigail had left, his small hand still pointing, "Mommy, Mommy..."

Juliet Rosa looked over curiously but only saw a beautiful back.

She had read the lady of the house’s detailed information and knew that she weighed between 130 and 140 pounds. The woman just now didn’t look like she weighed even 100, so it couldn’t be the lady of the house.

Aunt Claudia couldn’t calm the little one down after a long time, so she carried him to the room. "Teddy, don’t cry. Grandma will give you some milk. You will be happy when you’re full."

"Mommy, Mommy..." Teddy, forcibly carried back, still cried for mommy. Fortunately, Aunt Claudia knew his temperament well, found a picture book, and read him a story. Only then did his attention shift away.

When Jeffrey Foster came back after parking the car, he saw that new neighbors had moved in. He glanced around and saw Juliet Rosa’s back. Frowning slightly, he entered the villa and asked using R language, "Uncle Kimura, new residents next door?"

"Yes, a young couple traveling with their elderly and child. They had intended to rent our house before, but I refused," Uncle Kimura answered with a smile.

Jeffrey Foster nodded. He thought inwardly that a young couple traveling with their elderly and child couldn’t be Brandon Piers. From the news coming from home, Brandon already believed that Abigail and he were dead in the explosion. Despite the courtroom incident by Hearst Foster potentially making him suspicious, it wouldn’t matter.

Without evidence and unable to find them, he would eventually give up.

How much could someone who didn’t believe in Abigail love her, anyway?

Besides, even if Brandon looked for them and found them, by then he and Abigail would have already held their wedding and be officially together.

What could Brandon use against him then?

Thinking of this, Jeffrey Foster felt a bit more at ease, but he always kept vigilant. "If you have time, please visit them. By the way, Abigail and I plan to get married soon. We can send them an invitation."

"A wedding? You and Miss Kiyoko plan to get married? This is huge. Don’t worry about the invitations; I’ll discuss it with Nako. Since you’re getting married, there will be a lot to prepare. Leave the small tasks to me," Uncle Kimura said, standing up excitedly, eyes full of joy.

Jeffrey Foster smiled slightly, "Thank you very much."

"No trouble at all," the old man waved his hand and quickly went to tell his wife the good news.

Watching him leave, Jeffrey Foster’s smile widened. The Kimura couple were his patients in Cleveland, and it was through them he learned about this place. Before the explosion, he had entrusted them to arrange everything to conceal his identity. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

And the couple indeed had a nephew his age.

Abigail, in her room, still had the child’s clear call of "mommy" lingering in her ears, her heart aching painfully until she heard knocking on the door.

"Abigail, it’s time to eat." Jeffrey Foster, after showering and changing, didn’t see Abigail come out and felt a bit worried.

Abigail returned to her senses, glanced at herself in the mirror, her thoughts still on the child’s innocent face. Hearing the knock again, she pressed her reddened eyes and replied, "Just a moment."

After Jeffrey left, Abigail changed her clothes, washed her face several times with cold water, ensuring nothing was noticeable before leaving the room.

"Are you feeling unwell? Your face is so pale." Jeffrey Foster walked up, looking at Abigail’s pale face with concern.

The elderly Nako watched the young couple’s intimate behavior, smiled at her husband, and said in R language, "Their relationship is really good."

Kimura smiled, "Yes, unlike us old married couples."

Abigail could understand basic R language. Although not as good as Jeffrey’s, she improved quickly to take care of the Kimura couple. Hearing the old man’s words, her face turned pink. She smiled awkwardly at Jeffrey, "I’m fine; don’t be so worried."

Jeffrey Foster noticed Abigail’s shyness, seized her wrist boldly, and led her to the dining table, "Then eat more. You’ve lost weight again recently; it’s just right now."

Abigail nodded, recalling something, "Uncle Kimura, do you know anything about the new people next door?"

"Oh, it’s a young couple with an elderly person and a child traveling. They seem to be F Nation Chinese-Americans, living in Paris," Kimura replied.

Abigail thought of the baby less than a year old, "Since they are neighbors, I should visit them when I have time. Their baby is adorable."

Jeffrey Foster was taken aback, "You saw their child?"

"Yes, fair and chubby, playing with his mom and grandma in the yard," Abigail said, her eyes showing a hint of desire.

Jeffrey Foster felt relieved. Since they met, there shouldn’t be any issues. He nodded, "I will have Uncle Kimura invite them to our wedding."

Abigail only wanted to see the baby again, so she had no objections to inviting them to the wedding. She nodded lightly.

Unlike Abigail, Jeffrey Foster was focused on the wedding. Seeing no objection from Abigail, his smile grew wider bit by bit.
