Shi Mei gripped her cellphone tightly and swiftly turned her head to look.

Shi Lingyan stood tall and graceful, radiating a glow as if it were innate, his cold and distinguished demeanor was enough to stir hearts with just a glance.

The moment he entered, her attention was drawn to him.

Shi Mei saw his gaze pause briefly on her before it fell on her cellphone.

But Shi Lingyan walked right past her, stripping off his suit jacket as he headed for the bathroom.

Shi Mei embraced him, her voice soft and gentle, "Shall we go to bed and sleep?"

Shi Lingyan tensed up and pushed her away with a cold frown, "Move aside."

"No, no!" Shi Mei pouted, "I want to sleep with my husband and make babies!"

With that, she actually lay down beside Shi Lingyan!

Ling Yan’s brow twitched, and with a disdainful sneer, he asked, "You like sleeping here?"

Shi Mei nodded innocently, "Yep yep!"

"Then stay here and don’t move." Shi Lingyan, as if running out of patience, got up and tossed the thin blanket on him towards her.

He then went to that long-missed big bed.

Fortunately, Shi Mei only occupied half the bed when she slept.

Although her sleeping posture was a bit messy, the other half of the bed remained clean and tidy.

Shi Lingyan lay down, holding his stomach, and the comfort of lying flat caused him to let out a low sigh involuntarily.
