Reborn as His Intellectually Disabled Wife-Chapter 33: Husband, Aren’t You Going to Sleep with Shi Mei?
Chapter 33: Chapter 33: Husband, Aren’t You Going to Sleep with Shi Mei?
Shi Lingyan’s brow twitched.
He shouldn’t have lost his temper with a fool.
Shi Mei was like a blank piece of paper now, and he couldn’t stop others from scribbling all over it.
To make her less of a worry, he needed to overlay the stains with what he wanted.
He should find her a tutor.
Just like any ordinary child, what Shi Mei was lacking most now was education.
Shi Lingyan put away the photo, turned around, and lectured word by word, "Never listen to the words those people teach you."
Shi Mei sobbed and whimpered, pouting her lips and tilting her head as she looked at him with her big, wet, bewildered eyes.
It was hard to stay mad at such an expression.
Shi Lingyan’s face softened a bit as he patiently said, "I will find you a tutor. Except for the tutor’s words, you should not listen to anyone else, understand?"
Shi Mei hiccupped and asked softly, "What about my husband?"
"Call me Shi Lingyan."
"Shi Lingyan, Husband."

"Shi Lingyan, remove the husband." Shi Mei blinked and pouted in protest, "But it’s so long, ’husband’ sounds better."
Shi Lingyan felt very helpless.
Shi Mei, with her big, wet eyes, moved closer and whispered, "Husband."
Shi Lingyan pressed his brow and let out a long sigh, "Go out and sleep."
"Oh," Shi Mei obediently responded.
She turned around and hopped barefoot onto his large bed, deliberately rubbing her feet on it twice.
Shi Lingyan had mild OCD and a bit of mysophobia.
Sure enough, with her hopping, Shi Lingyan’s brow twitched, and he growled, "Get down."
Instead of getting down, Shi Mei, seemingly frightened, dived under the covers and then peeked out shyly, her face half-covered by the blanket.
Shi Lingyan’s facial expression almost twisted.
The half-exposed little head of Shi Mei quickly burrowed back, trembling under the blanket.
This obedient scene once again reminded Shi Lingyan that she was a fool.
Taking a deep breath, Shi Lingyan said, "This is not your bed, get down."
Shi Mei covered her face and shook her head, "It’s Shi Mei’s."
"It’s not."
"Shi Mei wants to sleep with her husband," Shi Mei persisted, clinging to the small blanket. "Sleeping together will give us a baby, Shi Mei wants a baby."
Suddenly, Shi Lingyan felt like he was suspected of indecent behavior with a child. Patiently, he said, "These words are not right, don’t listen to them again."
Shi Mei clung to the small blanket, stubbornly shaking her head.
While shaking her head, she even rolled around in the blanket a bit.
Finally, Shi Lingyan took a deep breath, finding that he truly had no way to manage her.
At last, he could only say, "You should wear shoes at home, okay?"
Shi Mei almost laughed out loud but just nodded her head.
Shi Lingyan opened the bedside drawer and took out another blanket.
Shi Mei sat up and at the moment he opened the door, she shouted loudly, "Husband, aren’t you going to sleep with Shi Mei?"
Elder Shi outside heard everything clearly. Leaning on his cane, he looked over and saw Shi Lingyan walking out with a blanket.
His old face darkened, and he angrily tapped his cane, "What kind of behavior is that? You barely come home, and now you even want to sleep separately from your wife?"
Shi Lingyan paused, "Grandfather, she’s still a child."
"A child? She’s 23 years old, married and still a child?" Elder Shi’s voice was aged but firm, "Get back in there! It’s been half a year since you got married and you’ve never slept in the same room, what kind of behavior is that! I don’t care what you consider her, but from now on, no sleeping in separate rooms!"
