Re:Zero All Sins-Chapter 77: Sequence 8 Bonus
Chapter 77 - Sequence 8 Bonus
Subaru was in his Alchemy lab, and with him was Al, as they put the half of Petelgeuse Authority into then the mixer, they walked back, thinking of an explosion they stopped and nothing happened
The Potion Changes coloured before it stopped. Subaru looked at it as he put in a Vile.
Al looked at him as he spoke. "So Bro, this is the Sequence 8 for your Fool Pathway".
Subaru looked as he spoke. "Up, Fool Pathway Sequence 8 Clown, part of the Lower Sequence just in Lord Of The Mysteries".
Al then looked at him as he spoke. "So after you finish Digesting this Bro, you will able to do your Cards Of Disorder Project".
Subaru looked at me with a smirk as he spoke. "Yup, that's why I am doing this today, also because I have feelings that shit is gonna hit the fan for some reason".
Al was a bit confused as he spoke. "Witch Cult?".
Subaru shook his head slowly, his eyes staring at the shifting colours of the potion in the vial.
Updat𝓮d from frёewebnoѵēl.com.
"No... not them. Something else. I don't know what. Maybe it's the Pathway instincts or the fact that all seven witches are living rent-free in my soul and whispering when they think I'm asleep."
Al shivered. "Still don't know how you sleep at night, bro."
Subaru laughed, though there was a tension in his voice. "I don't. That's the secret."
He raised the vial, the Fool Pathway's Sequence 8—Clown—glowing faintly with a twisted, chaotic light. It looked like a swirl of reality and madness in liquid form.
"Alright," Subaru muttered. "Time to fall further down the rabbit hole."
He downed the potion in one gulp. The taste was nothing. That was the first warning sign. Something so powerful and reality-bending should've tasted like regret and existential horror. Instead... silence.
Then it hit.
Subaru dropped to his knees as his vision warped, the world turning into a kaleidoscope of masks, laughter, and mirrored selves. He heard the Witches screaming in unison from inside his soul.
[Minerva]: "He's not ready—!"
[Pandora]: "It's perfect~"
[Sekhmet]: "Meh..."
[Satella]: "Subaru!!"
His mind cracked but didn't break—he held on, riding the chaos like a mad jester in a collapsing circus.
Somewhere deep within his subconscious...
A door opened. Subaru stood alone, but in front of him stood... himself.
No, not quite. This version wore the mask of a Clown—smiling, shifting, mad—but beneath the makeup, the same pain, the same trauma.
"Welcome to Sequence 8, Subaru," the masked self said, voice distorted like laughter underwater. "From now on, truth is an illusion. And illusion... is what you make of it."
Then the door slammed shut, and Subaru's eyes snapped open.
He sat up, gasping as Al handed him a towel. "You good, bro?"
Subaru wiped the sweat off his face, staring at his hand. In the dim alchemy room light, his reflection in the glass waved back at him independently.
He smirked.
"Clown. Sequence 8. Complete. Let's go make some chaos."
Ding
[Disgustion Process's started]
Ding!
[1% digested]
Subaru sighed as he spoke. "Will, this gonna be something the next few hours"
Al sighed as he spoke. "I guess I will get started on Sequence 6 of my Pathway"
Subaru looked as he spoke. "You got everything for Sequence 6 of the Twilight Giant Pathway?".
Al looked as he spoke. "Purks of being a knight or a very rich Royal Candidate Bro".
Subaru chuckled, shaking his head. "Man, if I had a coin for every time you flexed your royal sugar mommy perks, I could probably bribe Roswaal to act normal for once."
Al smirked beneath his mask. "You say that like he's ever been normal. Dude wakes up and chooses chaos with a side of creepy every morning."
Subaru snorted. "You're not wrong."
Another ding echoed in Subaru's mind.

He winced slightly, the Clown pathway's surreal aura swirling in his thoughts—flashes of twisted stages, kaleidoscope skies, mirrors that whispered truths he wasn't ready for.
Al began pulling out materials from his storage—rare relics, chunks of crystalized mana, and a bottle of something that looked like starlight in liquid form.
Subaru blinked. "Wait, is that aether blood from a sleeping dragon?"
Al whistled low. "You weren't supposed to recognize that, Bro."
Subaru raised a brow. "I live with witches in my soul, remember? Echidna's been quizzing me on rare magical ingredients since I was seventeen."
Al chuckled. "Fair enough. Anyway, Sequence 6—Dawn Paladin. Supposed to be a bridge between the will of giants and the dreamscape they once protected."
Subaru nodded thoughtfully. "You're pushing it, huh?"
Al looked at him. "If you're aiming for godhood, someone's gotta make sure you don't go completely nuts. Might as well be the knight with dreams of his own."
Subaru grinned, leaning back, letting the digestion continue. "Dawn Paladin and Clown, huh? Sounds like the start of a messed up fairy tale."
Al raised his potion. "Let's just make sure it doesn't turn into a tragedy."

Meanwhile in that Lugunica itself, something seemed to react, it moved and didn't like what was happening, as the voice spoke from nowhere and everywhere at the same time
"Why won't he die? This Authority User is the most annoying to kill out of the other; what can I do... The Sanctuary, yes I can use that".
In the shadows of Lugunica, that presence pulsed faintly—an ancient awareness, slumbering in forgotten corners of reality, disturbed only when the threads of fate twisted in defiance of expectation.
The voice—unseen and eternal—slithered through the very air like oil on water. "He adapts. He learns. He defies. But he is still human... fragile, breakable, corruptible. And yet—he refuses to fall."
Cracks formed in the fabric of the hidden space it dwelled in, reacting to the ignition of the Fool Pathway. The very existence of a being like Subaru climbing toward godhood twisted the logic of the world, an insult to the natural order. It had tolerated him—barely
But now he seeks ascension?
Unacceptable.
"The Sanctuary... that sealed place, a graveyard of past sins and half-truths. Let it become a trial. Let it devour his heart."
The voice hummed, laughter hidden in the madness. "Let the Trials reflect not just the past, but the weight of all possibilities. If he wishes to become a god... then let him suffer as one."
And with that, the gears of fate turned once more—crueler, deeper, and far more personal than before. The Sanctuary waited. And it had been listening too.
Back in the Mansion Subaru looked at Roswaal as he spoke. "So you're telling me you are gonna take Emilia to this Sanctuary to test her? What even is this place".
Roswaal, seated elegantly on his oversized chair, sipped his tea with that ever-present smirk that always bordered on theatrical. His heterochromatic eyes shimmered with mystery as he responded.
"The Sanctuary, dear Subaru, is a place steeped in ancient magic, sealed truths, and trials meant to test the very soul of an individual. And yes, Lady Emilia is the one who must face those trials."
Subaru narrowed his eyes. "And why exactly does she have to go through them?"
Roswaal chuckled softly. "Because she bears the blood of the elves, and because the Sanctuary will only open to those who can conquer the trials within. Her growth as a royal candidate depends on this."
Subaru crossed his arms, his face unreadable. "You're leaving out something, clown."
Roswaal's grin widened just a little too much. "Aren't I always?"
Before Subaru could press further, Beatrice appeared with a book in her hand, looking annoyed. "That place reeks of spatial distortion and old magic, I suppose. Something is off, Subaru. I'd advise against going."
Subaru sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Which is why I'm definitely going with her."
Roswaal simply smiled. "I wouldn't expect anything less of you, Subaru-kun."
From the window above, a soft wind blew in—and for just a moment, Subaru felt it again.
That pressure.
Something watching.
Something waiting.
Subaru looked at him as he spoke. "Did you feel that".
Roswaal looked at him as he spoke. "What do you mean".
Subaru looked at him as he spoke. "Forget it, As Emilia's guard I need to go there"
Beatrice looked at him as he spoke. "Don't forget, Elsa and Meili, are joking with you, they are her bodyguards as well"
Subaru then looked at her as he spoke. "Ok, but who is protecting the mansion then".
Roswaal looked at him as he spoke to Rem, Ram and Frederica".
Subaru looked at them as he spoke. "I betting 10 Gold Coins one then is going to follow us there".
Rem, Ram, and Frederica exchanged glances—Ram raised an eyebrow, Rem looked innocent, and Frederica gave a faint smile.
Ram stepped forward, arms crossed, expression flat. "As if I'd waste time babysitting you in some haunted forest."
Subaru smirked. "So you are coming."
Rem tilted her head sweetly. "If Subaru-kun is going, then of course I'll follow. I promised to always stay by your side."
Subaru sighed in mock defeat. "There goes my gold."
Frederica chuckled softly. "I'll stay behind to guard the mansion, as I originally intended. If something strange is reacting to Subaru's actions, I rather stay behind and keep it safe"
Roswaal nodded, as if this had all gone exactly as planned. "Perfect, perfect... now the cast is all but set."
Subaru gave him a sharp glance. "Don't say it like you're directing a play."
Roswaal only laughed, fanning himself. "Oh, but isn't life just one grand performance, Subaru-kun?"
Elsa, leaning against the wall sharpening a knife, added in her usual calm yet chilling tone, "As long as no one touches my lady, I don't care where we go."
Meili, dangling her legs off the window ledge, giggled. "Oooh, I wonder if the forest has cute monsters."
Subaru rubbed his temples. "And I'm the crazy one for trying to become a god."
Beatrice flicked his forehead. "You still are, I suppose."
And with that, the party to the Sanctuary began to take form... but the shadows had already begun to shift in anticipation.
Meanwhile in set Sanctuary was someone, as he snipped then air and stand up, as he looked around
He is a young, relatively short, quarter-beast human with short, spiky blond hair, green eyes, and a large cross scar on his forehead. He wears light, combat-focused clothing, including a black vest, arm guards, pants, and a purple cape.
[Insert Image of Garfiel]
Garfiel looked around as he spoke. "Today feel of, do you also feel that Ryuzu".
Standing nearby was Ryuzu Meyer, her expression unreadable as always, the wind gently tugging at the edge of her hooded robe. She tilted her head slightly at Garfiel's question.
"Indeed, Garfiel. The mana around the barrier is... reacting strangely. Like it's anticipating something." Her voice was calm, but there was an underlying tension.
Garfiel's eyes narrowed, his beast blood stirring slightly beneath his skin. He instinctively clenched his fists. "Tch. This ain't like the usual weirdness. This... this feels like somethin' big is comin'. Like somethin' tryin' to twist fate itself."
He bared his teeth in a grin that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Guess I better get ready to bite if it tries to mess with the Sanctuary."
Ryuzu nodded slowly. "Do not act rashly, Garfiel. The one coming... may not be the same Roswaal you remember."
Garfiel's grin faltered, his body going still for a moment. "Roswaal, huh...?"
He looked up toward the forest's edge, the wind carrying a faint chill.
"...Whatever's changed in 'im, I'll see it with my own eyes. And if he's still our ally—I'll fight beside 'im. But if not..." his gaze hardened, "...I'll protect this place. No matter what."
And somewhere, far beyond what even Garfiel could sense, something laughed.
Meanwhile in a completely different place, in between Time it self, seating on a throne with his white hair, and 3rd Eye Opened, was Future Subaru as he chucked
Future Subaru out a laugh as sweet dropped from his face. "Oh god, looks like my past self is gonna go through the Rabbit Incident".
Beside the throne, shrouded in a veil of flickering timelines and residual Authority, stood an ethereal figure—Satella, or rather a version of her bound to this pocket of existence. Her eyes, normally filled with obsession, now held a strange tenderness as she looked at Future Subaru.
"You always laugh... but we both know how much it broke you," she whispered, voice echoing through the void like ripples in a quiet sea.
Future Subaru leaned back on the throne, brushing a finger along the edge of his eye—his opened Third Eye, glowing with ancient foresight and layered understanding of causality.
"Yeah... it did break me," he admitted with a sigh, his tone serious now. "But every loop, every loss... it pushed me toward this point. The Fool became a King, and now... a God."
He glanced at the swirling image of his younger self walking toward the Sanctuary.
"...Still, I really wish I could just send him a letter saying, 'Pack some anti-Rabbit measures, dumbass.'"
Satella giggled softly, stepping closer. "He wouldn't listen even if you did."
Future Subaru smirked. "Yeah, that's what makes him me."
In the distance, the timelines shifted. Countless Subarus across countless worlds made their own choices.
And this one? This version was just about to walk into hell once again.
