Meanwhile, in one of the many hideouts of the Witch's Hand, Ivan goes to Subaru's room. "Hey Boss".

Subaru was sitting on his chair as he spoke. "What is it, Ivan".

Ivan's white hair flowed in the wind as his blue eyes met with Subaru. "We found Petelgeuse group".

Subaru looked as he spoke. "Send the letter to Halibal and Shaule to get ready".

Ivan nodded, a smirk forming on his lips. "Got it. Those two will be thrilled."

Subaru leaned back in his chair, fingers tapping rhythmically against the armrest. "So, they're finally making a move. We knew it was coming, but it's sooner than I expected." His gaze sharpened. "Any details on their numbers?"

Ivan folded his arms. "From what we gathered, Petelgeuse is still running the same fanatic squad as before, but there's something new. Apparently, one of the other Archbishops is coming to back him up."

Subaru's eyes narrowed. "Which one?"

"Roi," Ivan answered. "The Sin Archbishop of Gluttony. Lye's brother."

Subaru exhaled through his nose. "Tch. So it's about revenge. Not surprising, but we need to be extra careful. If he has the same abilities as Lye, then this could turn into a nightmare if we're not ready."

Ivan smirked. "That's why we've got Halibal and Shaule, right? They won't let these bastards get anywhere near our people."

Subaru nodded. "Right. But just in case, double-check our escape routes. I don't want any surprises. We strike fast, we strike hard, and we disappear before the rest of the cult catches wind of what happened."

Ivan gave him a lazy salute. "Consider it done, Boss."

As Ivan left the room, Subaru leaned forward, resting his elbows on the desk. His fingers interlaced as he muttered to himself.

"Regulus, Petelgeuse, Capella... and now Roi. The Witch's Cult is finally gathering." His expression darkened.

Meanwhile with that of Witch's Cult, they were ina camp, the group was next to that Arlam Villages, in the Emilia camp

Petelgeuse laughed as he looked at his men and Roy. "Tonight we rest, because tomorrow, we shall bring our Goddes Back, hahahahhahahaha".

Roy rulled his eyes as he spoke. "I don't care, just gonna find that black hair baster and be done with it".

"I guess you get to meet early then expect".

They turned there head, as the forste got covered in fire as the fire circle then, waking through the fire using fire immunity spell, was the members of the Witch's Hand, as they all were wearing maks and robe's, all but 3 people, Halibal and Shaule and Subaru.

Subaru looked at Roy as he spoke. "Hello Gluttony".

Halibal looked at Petelgeuse as he spoke. "So, we meet again".

Shaule smriked as she actived her magic. "Let's make sure this time, we kill properly".

Petelgeuse's grin widened into a manic expression as he extended his fingers unnaturally. "OHHH, SUCH LOVE! SUCH DEVOTION! TO THINK YOU'D RETURN JUST FOR ME!" His body trembled with excitement as the Unseen Hands began to manifest around him.

Roi, however, cracked his neck and stared at Subaru with a sharp gaze. "You... you're the one who killed my brother, aren't you?" His emerald-green eyes gleamed with venomous rage. "Tch, guess I'll have to consume you whole to make up for it."

Subaru's expression remained neutral as he tilted his head slightly. "Gluttony, huh? You seem awfully confident."

Halibal unsheathed his sword with a sharp shing, his stance unwavering. "Don't waste your breath, Subaru. We already know what happens when these bastards talk too much."

Shaule chuckled darkly, her fingertips crackling with violet energy. "True, true. And last time, we let them crawl away. Not this time."

Roi smirked. "Oh? You think you've got me figured out? Let me show you just how different I am from my dear, departed brother."

Suddenly, the air distorted as Roi activated his Authority, the sensation of something twisting reality itself rippling through the area.

Petelgeuse cackled, his Unseen Hands lashing out violently. "LET US BEGIN THIS WONDERFUL DANCE OF DEATH!"

Subaru exhaled, his expression hardening as he signaled to his group. "No holding back. Kill them all."

The night erupted into chaos.

Petelgeuse laughed as he sent out his unseen hands, as the Halibal and Shaule went to counter the hand and take care of Petelgeuse and all of his Body's, as for Subaru he walked up to Roy.

Roy looked at Subaru as he spoke. "Come face me Vainglory"

[Echidna then spoke in his head. "So, how will you handle him"]

Subaru spoke in his head. "Mess with him a bit, if he thisnk I am Vainglory".

[Pandora laugehed in Subaru head, as her sprite wrapper her arm around his neck from behind. "Then use my power's"]

Subaru spoke in his head. "I will be using Carmilla as well".

As Subaru Unsheathed Witch's Edge, as he desiperd.

Roi's eyes narrowed as Subaru seemingly vanished into thin air. His emerald pupils darted around, scanning for any trace of movement, but he found nothing—no sound, no scent, no presence.

"Tch... a coward's trick." Roi spat, his fingers twitching as he activated his own Authority. The air around him distorted as he attempted to consume the identities of those in the vicinity, hoping to draw Subaru out by force.

But nothing happened.

Roi's breath hitched as his surroundings subtly shifted. The forest behind him darkened unnaturally, the flickering firelight from the burning trees turning an eerie shade of violet. The ground beneath his feet felt off, almost as if it weren't solid anymore.

"What the hell—?"

A whisper brushed against his ear.

"You were saying?"

Roi's instincts screamed as he twisted around, but there was no one there.

Then—slash!

A thin, crimson line appeared across his arm, and pain followed a second later. His eyes widened. "What?!"

Subaru's voice echoed from every direction, smooth and mocking. "What's wrong, Gluttony? You wanted to face Vainglory, didn't you?"

The world around Roi shattered, his vision twisting into a kaleidoscope of shifting images. Shadows danced, whispers taunted, and illusions overlapped with reality in a seamless, horrifying blend.

Roi gritted his teeth, his mind racing. This power... it's not just illusions. He's making me question reality itself!

Roy wasn't scared of anything, but when Regulus said the leader could have the Authority of Vainglory, he was hoping he was just guessing, but right now, Roy felt like he saw death

Subaru's voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere, weaving into the very fabric of the illusion.

"What am I? Oh, Gluttony... That's the wrong question."

The darkness twisted around Roi, and suddenly, he wasn't in the forest anymore. The burning trees, the cultists, even Petelgeuse—they were all gone. Instead, he stood in a vast, endless void, where the sky and ground melted into an indistinguishable abyss.

Subaru's voice whispered from the void, each word slithering into Roi's ears like a venomous serpent.

"The real question is... do you exist anymore?"

Roi's breath hitched. He could still feel his body, but his Authority—his ability to consume names and memories—wasn't working. His power, his very existence, felt fragile, like a candle flickering against an unseen storm.

He gritted his teeth, shaking his head. "No... no, no! This is just an illusion!"

Subaru's voice laughed softly, but it wasn't just one voice. It was many—layered, overlapping, coming from all around.

"Is it?"

A cold, sharp pain sliced across Roi's shoulder. He gasped, stumbling back. A second later, another cut—this time across his chest. Real pain. Real wounds.

His eyes darted around wildly. Where is he?!

Subaru stepped forward from the abyss, his form half-existent, shifting like a mirage. His Witch's Edge gleamed with unseen blood, and his golden eyes glowed eerily in the void.

"You're nothing but a rat scrambling in the dark, Roi. And do you know what happens to rats?"

He disappeared again.

Roi's pulse pounded in his ears. "D-damn you...!"

Then, Subaru's voice whispered right behind him.

"They get crushed."

Roy felt his arm get cut up, as he looked at his hand, a he started run in Thai Void, as he went away

As then Subaru came back, deactivated [Vail Of Innocence] as he looked at Roy. "He is running".

[Minerva spoke in his head. "So are you gonna let him run"]

Subaru Actived [Vail Of Innocence] as he spoke. "No, just let think he can run"

As Subaru then uses Light Travel, to following him, as do to using [Vail Of Innocence] and his Spell Light Travel Together, he is basically doing a Body flicker from Naruto.

Roy ran blindly through the void, his breathing ragged as he clutched his bleeding arm. This isn't real. This isn't real! But the pain, the blood dripping from his wounds—it all felt real.

He turned his head, trying to see if Subaru was following, but there was nothing but darkness. No footsteps, no presence.

Then—

"Why are you running, Gluttony?"

Subaru's voice slithered into his ears, and before Roi could react—

A deep gash tore through his leg, sending him crashing onto the unseen floor. He gasped in pain, trying to scramble back up, but—

Another wound across his shoulder.

Subaru stepped forward, now visible, his golden eyes glowing with eerie amusement.

"You devour names and memories, but what happens when there's no one left to remember you?"

Roi gritted his teeth. "You think this is enough to—"

Subaru disappeared.

SHINK!

A blade pierced his stomach from behind.

"This is just the beginning."

Roy tryed to run, but then he saw his own body, as he spoke. "Baster cut my head of".

As then the world it self broken, as Roy was in the ground dead, but no damage was actually done, the real cause of death was heart attack.

Subaru spoke in his mind. "That made me sick".

[Echidna chuckled in his mind. "Oh? Feeling remorse, Subaru? How unexpected."]

Subaru sighed, dismissing his activated Authorities. "It's not about remorse. It's just... too easy."

[Pandora giggled. "Well, deception is a powerful weapon. You merely let his own fear consume him."]

Subaru glanced at Roy's lifeless body, the illusion fading as reality set in. No blood, no wounds—just a man who had been utterly convinced of his own demise.

Vainglorious Illusion had tricked his mind. Law of Deception had rewritten what he believed to be true. In the end, Roy's own heart had given out, unable to handle the horror.

It's terrifying what I can do now... Subaru thought to himself.

He turned back toward the battlefield, where Halibal and Shaule were still clashing with Petelgeuse.

Subaru started to walk, as he spoke. "I went full Horror Movie Villain there".

[Minerva the spoke. "Yeah, no shit, if you want to actually kill him, you could have done all does things truly"]

Subaru was taking small steps as he spoke in his head again. "I clean cut to turn soul, would ahev been enough, but I let it drag out, like some monster".

[Pandora smirked in his mind. "And yet, it worked. He died in terror, without you even needing to stain your hands. Efficient, no?"]

Subaru sighed, shaking his head. "That's not the point."

[Echidna hummed. "Then what is?"]

"I didn't need to do that. I could've ended it cleanly, but instead, I toyed with him. I let the fear sink in, let him break on his own. That's not something a hero does."

[Minerva scoffed. "So what? You're not a hero, Subaru. You're a survivor. And survivors use every advantage they have."]

Subaru clenched his fists. He knew they were right—he had to use everything he had. The Witch's Cult didn't deserve mercy. But still, the way he had done it...

"Am I really okay with this?"

He shook off the thought as he approached Halibal and Shaule. Petelgeuse's laughter echoed in the burning forest. The battle wasn't over yet.

"I'll figure this out later. For now, it's time to end this nightmare."
