My words made Leon scrunch his face in confusion, and I waved my hand in the air, gaining nothing from his struggling brain.

"Forget it. You're too young to understand.

Give me Grace."

"It seems you don't realize the position you're in, Mr. Lawson," Leon said, but I was already tired of engaging in a conversation with him.

I studied the room and then looked to the ass which was still bent over and oresting to me it's asshole.

"Emily, you should leave. Things are about to get messy in here."

"Really? And how did you figure that would happen?" Leon turned to me with a smirk.

"Like this."

With remarkable strength, I pulled my wrists apart, the chain binding the cuffs shattering.

Immediately, I swung my hand to the left, and my Desert Eagle appeared.

Bam!!

Bam!!

The bullets soared from my gun, aiming to put holes in the baron. But before they could reach him, they hit something invisible, losing all their momentum.

"A witch," I muttered. I didn't hesitate to scan the room as I rose to my feet. The result confirmed my initial reading had been off.

"So, it's something else."

As I wondered about the barrier protecting Leon, the man sat comfortably in his chair, smiling at me.

"Now you've angered her," Leon mouthed. And just like that, the one I had perceived to be the most dangerous in the group made her move.

"Teleportation… yeah right."

If Carmel could actually teleport, there was no way she would be serving under the likes of Leon. Even if she had been brainwashed, other powerful factions wouldn't let him keep such a strategic asset under his control.

To normal eyes, Carmel appeared to teleport, but with Mind Vision, although her image was fractured and splintered, I could tell that the woman was fading out of reality and bursting forward with astonishing speed.

In essence, her ability was a cross between intangibility and super speed. As I backpedalled, putting distance between Leon and me, I asked myself a question while my right hand shot out and seemingly plucked Carmel from the air by the neck.

"Why does it look like she has superpowers?"

With Mind Vision, I could not only track Carmel's movements, albeit erratically, but I could also see glimpses of the future, her actions laid out before me.

The moment I grabbed her, I slammed her into the ground. The force of the hit created a crater beneath her. Then, I threw her unconscious body behind me and looked up at the remaining four people in the room, smirking as realisation dawned on their faces.

"Will you still not get up from your mighty throne?" I mocked.

"I will," Leon replied, rising to his feet, to my surprise.

"Girls, deal with him."

Immediately, the three girls sprinted forward. I had just raised my fists when a blue light spread out like branches across the floor, filling the room.

I didn't need a genie to know that whatever ability had been cast was trouble. But even anticipating it didn't save me from suddenly finding my legs paralyzed as a kick came straight for me.

"Fuck."

Thinking fast, I bent forward to avoid the deadly foot but to my horror, my waist stiffened, the paralysis rapidly spreading.

I looked to my right and quickly raised my hand. A black shotgun appeared in it, the muzzle pointed at the source of the paralysis.

"Nice. She's also paralyzed."

Bam!!

If you thought flesh exploded, then you were right. A force of 30,000 behind the bullet was no joke. I made a literal hole in the girl's belly. Grinning, I roared, breaking through my paralysis and rolling away from a heavy axe kick.

Bam!!

I thought my strength was impressive, but when Vicky's foot, which I had just dodged, struck the ground, a tremor shook the room. The area beneath her exploded into rubble and flying tiles, a hole forming that led to the lower floor.

"So your power is ridiculous super strength.

How about you?"

I took a few steps back, keeping the remaining three people in my field of vision. The girl with the hole in her chest had already collapsed, dead.

With my shotgun pointed forward, I narrowed my eyes at Leon and the final guard who had yet to make a move.

"Apologies. Seems I underestimated you." fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"Yeah, you did."

Bang!!

Moving my shotgun left and right, as if unsure of when to fire and wary of leaving myself open, I had everyone thinking we were in a temporary standoff.

But I mean, come on.

"Who's we?"

A simple pull of the trigger, and another ridiculously powerful shot burst from my gun. The air it tore through heated up, blasted apart and then came the sound of collision.

"Wait... that's not right. It should've been an explosion, not a collision."

Behold, other than tearing apart the front of the female's suit, exposing her stomach and part of her breasts, she was sent flying, crashing into the wall. Her body remained intact, her mind still conscious.

"What can you do?" I turned to the other female beside Leon, now genuinely curious.

"Hailey, honey, it's okay. Don't be shy. Show him your strength," Leon encouraged.

"But... I might not come back."

"I'm here, honey. Trust me, you will."

I had nothing against playing dirty. I prepared to attack Leon while he moved toward Hailey to reassure her, but Vicky pushed off the wall, landing on her feet and charging at me.

My senses screamed danger. Focusing on Vicky, despite her blinding speed, I steadily retreated, dodging a hook she threw when she got close. I grabbed her extended hand, pivoted on my right foot, spun her around, and released her toward the glass overlooking the auction.

Our exchanges, especially Vicky's drop kick had caught the attention of many in the auction hall, alerting them to the hidden battle. Now, as Vicky smashed through the glass and her body flew into the auction space below, everything was exposed.
