Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 245: Chonky Grinding
Chapter 245: Chonky Grinding
<You have entered: Dungeon of Shadows [Level 250–300]>
<Notice: The user is too strong for this dungeon.>
Sucks to be me, Rael snickered. But not like I have any better dungeons to choose from. The highest level dungeon on this continent is probably level 500 or so, and even then, I’d have to break into the Demonic Lands and deal with half the demons to get to it.
That dungeon was none other than the Cave of Maw. It was a base of operations for most of the demons because that was where they acquired their materials.
But just as he was about to begin killing all the monsters in this dungeon, he halted.
There was one thing he was forgetting.

If he didn’t have a wife, the first option would seem like an interesting pastime. But in this case, he’d avoid it.
Killing gnomes also didn’t sound like much fun. Dragons? They were nice, but the valkyrie—
[Go with the Blue Dragon’s Den,] Burger chimed in.
"Hmm? Why? It’s not going to give as much experience as the valkyrie, and I’m not sure I’d be able to deal with a level 2500 monster with my current stats," Rael said.
[Tell me, genius. What are dragons known for?] Burger asked.
Rael’s eyes sparkled. "Their cool, giant, scaly bodies, and fire breath?"
Burger let out a sigh. [You’re not exactly wrong, but look at it this way. This is the den of a dragon, and what does a prideful and old dragon usually keep inside its den?]
"..." Rael’s eyes widened. "Money..."
[That’s right. Money. A lot of fucking money kekeke,] Burger cackled.
Rael’s grin widened as he bought the Blue Dragon Den key.
Immediately, a scaly blue key appeared in his palm.
He wasn’t sure what to do with it, so he simply raised it into the air and twisted it, as if unlocking a door.
To his surprise, a door actually appeared. He pushed it open, and on the other side, he could see a dark cave.
Then, without wasting another moment, he stepped through.
<You have left: Dungeon of Shadows [Level 250–300]>
<You have entered: Blue Dragon’s Den [Level 1500–2000]>
Before he could even take a breath, a blue fireball flew toward him.
As it was about to hit him, Rael ducked, triggering his phasing.
<[Phase] has been triggered!>
<Your next attack deals 150% more damage>
He reappeared behind the attacker, which just so happened to be a Blue Dragon Newt.
—Blue Dragon Newt [Level 1800] [13.746 Billion / 13.746 Billion HP]
Dang, for a small piece of shit like this, it sure looks strong, Rael mused as he tapped his Violet String, sending a note straight for the Dragon Newt’s spine.
And of course, it cut through without issue.

"..."
He was definitely not expecting that.
Then again, his stats increased by nearly 20 times since he killed Jashin.
But 21 Trillion? It would’ve been around 8 Trillion without the phase buff, Rael thought with a smirk.
Still, he didn’t put too much thought into it. If he recalled correctly, though, Elites and Boss monsters had some damage resistance, or even complete immunity to one type of damage at these kinds of levels.
That meant a chonky hit like this wouldn’t be as effective.
Even so, Rael turned to the left, glancing at the walls that were engraved with weird draconic sigils.
There were some crystals on the walls as well, and they seemed to be charged to the brim with lightning.
And in the far-off distance, he finally saw some more monsters.
—Blue Dragon Newt [Level 1800] [13.746 Billion / 13.746 Billion HP]
—Sentient Storm Wisp [Level 1900] [15.736 Billion / 15.736 Billion HP]
There were around eight of each, but one in particular had piqued his interest.
It looked like a humanoid, yet undead blue dragon. There were faint blue scales surrounding its vital areas.
Instead of eyes, it had blue wisps inside its sockets, and from the strength he could feel, it seemed pretty dangerous.
So he didn’t hesitate and inspected it as well.
—Undead Dragonborn Guardian (Duke Class Elite) [Level 2000] [85.865 Trillion / 85.865 Trillion HP]
Yep, that seemed more like it, Rael chuckled.
Just like at level 50, the HP multiplier spiked again at level 1500, and the next spike would be at level 3000.
Even so, Rael took a deep breath as he turned the corner and arrived right behind the monsters.
Before they noticed him, Rael made his move.
<(x13) Monster [Level 1800 ~ 2000] has been Threaded!>
<Decreasing Willpower by 4%/sec>
He smirked, and in the very next moment, he snapped the threads.

"Hahaha..." Rael let out a laugh at the stat gain.
He had missed this feeling of getting stronger with each kill.
And because of Gluttony, his stat gain was immense.
It was very likely that by the time he exited this dungeon, his stats would be doubled.
Rael cracked his neck and glanced toward the lone Undead Dragonborn Guardian.
The armor around its head cracked, and it seemed largely unscathed.
A faint grin appeared on Rael’s face as he took out his Violin Blade, ready to shoot a note toward the guardian.
I wonder how many stats and experience you’ll give...?
