Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 139: Granting Access To The Depths, Giving Her A Goal, and Back In The Throne Room
<Access to the Depths>
<Would you like to grant the players Karina, Asimov, and Milf_GattlingGun individual access to the Depths? Yes/No>
<Note: They will gain their own individual portals, and only they alone will be able to pass through them and back.>
Neat. Rael swiftly pressed 'Yes.'
He had 15 slots in total, and so far, he'd given out 3.
There were those two idiots who were gathering ores, so he'd likely grant them slots as well.
Then there was the upcoming auction he'd host, where he was likely going to give out another three slots.
And of course, he'd save the rest for Zafira and maybe some other people who weren't players.
Rael saw a particular burst of mana envelop the three girls, and in the very next moment, his interface lit up.
<Access To the Depths>
<Slots Remaining: 12>
Does it not count me? he wondered before glancing toward the girls.
"I believe I should give you a warning or something. That area is pretty high leveled, so all of you will die. Also, don't stare at the moon or you'll be killed. That's all," Rael said as he stood up and approached the door.
He gestured for the girls to leave, and the Milf was the first one out.
Asimov was second. However, before she left, Rael stopped her for just a moment.
"Excuse me... about your stream. Can I ask you for a favor?"

"Oh?" A smirk tugged at Asimov's lips. "If you give me something in return, then I'll consider it."
"Fine, I'll give you a favor in return then," Rael replied plainly.
Her interest was piqued. "Can I cash it in now?"
"Nope." Rael swiftly dismissed her, and then focused above her head, looking straight at the camera.
"Can you advertise Celestara? I want a lot of players to come here after four months, and with that bustling chat of yours, you can make that happen."
"Huh... you know about the release... and you can also see my chat?" Asimov muttered. "You sure you're not going to get patched by the developers before I can cash in my favor?"
Rael sent a glare her way, making her let out a sigh as she caved in.
"Fine. I'll walk around Celestara later and advertise the cool stuff. But yeah, after four months, I expect to cash in a large favor. I hope you won't disappoint me," Asimov added with a grin, and waved.
She's a little sadistic...
Soon she ran after the milf, and the only person left inside the room was Karina, and of course, Aria.
But Aria was too puzzled by their conversation, so her brain sort of just shut off.
Despite that, Rael approached Karina, sat in front of her, then tilted his head.
"Why don't you go after your friends?"
"I was a bit curious about something," Karina said, tapping the table. "You don't happen to be someone from our world, right?"
Rael kept his poker face and stared straight into her curious emerald eyes.
Hmm... Primordial Sight isn't activating, and neither is Neuroweb. I guess we don't see each other as enemies, Rael thought, and decided to answer her question.
"Karina. I'm sure you've already made up your mind, so it doesn't matter what answer I give you," Rael said with a grin. "So, what do you think, Karina? Am I or am I not from your world?"
"..." Karina held eye contact for a few seconds. It seemed like she wanted to say something, but it was almost like that certain something was holding her back.
In the end, she simply stood up and walked out without saying a word.
"Finally, peace at least," Rael exclaimed, turning to Aria and tapping her on the shoulder. "You good?"
"Who knows...? I'm feeling stupid," Aria replied, clutching her forehead. "I didn't understand anything. Players? Streamer? Like, what are you even talking about?"
Rael smiled and stood up, gently patting her on the head. "You'll find out eventually."
She flinched and immediately shot up to her feet, glaring at him with trembling eyes.
"Don't do that. I don't like being treated as though I am a child."
"You make it sound like it happens often," Rael remarked with a chuckle, causing her to flinch.
"Pfft... it does?" he added. "Hey, if you want advice on how to not be treated like a kid, then don't act like one."
Aria furrowed her brows. "What is that supposed to mean?"
"You follow me around like a duckling. Instead of asking normal questions, you murmur under your breath. Honestly, just take initiative. If you want to know something, then try finding out with the best of your ability... or just ask me directly," Rael said flatly.
Those words seemed to have dug deep as she looked down and clenched her fists.
"Make that your goal, I guess. Instead of trying to prove your father wrong, try to be your own person," Rael added, and began slowly walking away.
He was aware she was likely too spoiled to care about change, especially since she hadn't strayed away from the path Halemire had paved for her.
To his surprise, she began trailing him from behind, and with that, Rael walked to the throne room.
After all, midway through the conversation, he had gotten an interesting message.
<Zafira Sutekh: I would have hoped you'd given me a bit more information. As it stands, I have no clue what to do with this weird girl. Get over here if you're not busy.>
Rael sighed.
<Rael Sutekh: Coming.>
With that, he began jogging, until eventually, he arrived right in front of the throne room.
Aria was huffing in exhaustion behind him, but he ignored her as he swung the throne room doors open.
Immediately, he saw Evelyn practicing sword swings in the air.
And as for Zafira, she sat on the bean bag chair which was right beside her throne, lazily staring up at the ceiling.
However, only a few seconds later, she noticed him. "Oh, Rael, you're here. Can you deal with her? She's a little off... also, do you think you could buy a bigger pillow? This one is comfy..."
"Mhm... sure—" Rael froze, a soft smile tugging at his lips.
She fell asleep... I guess I'll need to buy a giant bean bag then, he thought, turning to Evelyn.
Even with him entering the room, she remained fully focused on her swordsmanship.
In fact, it was a bit creepy how focused she was.
Nonetheless...
I guess if I want to relax for a bit, I have to deal with her first.
