POSSESSION: The Hidden Omega In All Alphas' Academy [BL]-Chapter 199: Will You Be Okay?

Kylian’s endearing smile, narrowing his drowsy ocean eyes made Zenith’s heart thump a little faster, as if all the uneasy palpitations gushing inside him until a second ago immediately vanished in thin air, the moment he had his beloved omega back in his arms.

The concerns regarding their bickering before didn’t matter anymore to each of them, especially when Kylian willingly leaned his head against his chest, exhaling a big huff of sigh, "What took you so long to come back? I was starting to get worried...do you know that?"

His sweet but worried voice echoed like a melody inside the peaceful small thatched hut, but wrapping his jacket tightly around Kylian, Zenith hold him tight against his chest as he had sensed his body temperature had dropped from sitting all this time outside at the doorstep, especially in this cold mountain breeze.

"And what about you? Why were you seated outside? Do you realize your body is freezing now...Kyle? Aren’t you feeling numb already?"

Zenith’s concern in his voice made Kylian toss a small chortle when he slowly shook his head in denial, still burying his face on his taut chest muscles, "It would be a lie if I say I wasn’t freezing over there. But still, I wanted to sit there and wait for you...to help you realize no matter where you go, you can always come back home, just like you did today. I...will be there to greet you, as always."

His soft but innocent mumble curved a small pleasant smile on Zenith’s lips, when pressing Kylian tighter against his chest, he muttered, "You’re already my home, babe."

"I know...and that’s why, I was waiting there for you." Slowly Kylian parted his head away from his chest and meeting his rolled big onyx eyes, he gulped before professing in a sincere tone, "I also wanted to apologize to you, Zenith. I am really sorry.

"I shouldn’t have said those words to you before...I know they must’ve sounded very hurtful. Zenith, I didn’t intend to push you away from me...but I guess, I just got a bit too scared upon watching the outcome of the lantern ritual. It made me freak out a bit harder, but...I shouldn’t have done that—"

Before Kylian could finish his murmur, Zenith tilted his head closer and placed a soft gentle peck on his rosy lips, making Kylian wince a bit hard when their lips touched each other’s yearning warmth for a fleeting moment.

Gawking at him with a confused gaze after that gentle peck, before Kylian could utter a word more, Zenith gently consoled him in a timid voice, holding him by his side face, "It’s fine. I didn’t heed your words at all...because before that, I had already given you my verdict, right? We are going to be together forever...so no matter what you do or say...we belong to each other...and no one will be able to change the truth. Don’t you think it so?"

Despite watching him disappear earlier after throwing that fit of anger, Kylian didn’t expect Zenith would deal with the situation rather maturely once he return to him.

So quite a bit startled by his response, Kylian couldn’t stop the smile growing on his lips while staring endearingly at his Alpha, "Well, to watch you behave in this matured way...it’s quite surprising, I must say, Zenith. I had barely hoped you would ever bother to listen to me after coming back."

"Well, I was partly wrong as well since I might’ve overreacted a bit too much. Even though I intend to act maturely before you...but most of the time I miserably fail in doing that."

Zenith sounded a bit sulky from his tone, but his hold around Kylian tightened a little when he sounded very keen from his tone. "Especially right now I am barely holding myself from showering you with my kisses all over your pretty face and leave my hickeys all over your adorable soft body, but I know, we aren’t done talking yet."

"Come on, we are still inside the mountain shrine. Behave yourself a bit, and don’t get perverted thoughts here..." With a soft flick on his forehead when Kylian scolded him in a low diligent voice, it made Zenith unable to resist his charm as he suddenly stood up on the ground and pulled Kylian up in his arms and put him on one side of his shoulder, as if he was carrying a piece of rock like that.

Before Kylian could figure out what was happening, Zenith dragged him straight inside towards the rugged hay mattress which was provided to them in this cold mountain. While letting him off him, Kylian who had retained a blushed hue on his cheeks pouted at him, "Why did you carry me like that? I must’ve been so heavy...and to be hauled up on your shoulder like that...it’s just darn embarrassing now that I think of it..."

"You’re not heavy at all...in fact, I should say...you’re as light as a feather?"

"Hey...stop lying to me—"

"I am serious, babe." This time Zenith sounded pretty assertive compared to his relaxed tone from before, when he included, "I am already prepared myself to carry you like this in my arms for the rest of my life. It’s not only for today or tomorrow, but it will be like this...always."

Calmly mumbling like a sweet gentle breeze, while Zenith helped Kylian rest down on the mattress, those words made Kylian’s heart flutter with a pleasant sensation.

Honestly, he couldn’t realize it himself how he would be always able to look forward to the future whenever he was together with Zenith, that made him comprehend the fact that maybe that’s what it’s called ’a sense of belonging to our special one.’

While they lied down next to each other while embracing the other one, Zenith was gently patting Kylian’s back shoulder as if he was helping him to fall asleep in his arms. The sweet omega pheromones had filled the air of the small hut, making Zenith feel quite relaxed compared to before when he ran away into the forest on his own.

"Babe?" But after a brief silence, Zenith mustered his strength to initiate the conversation with Kylian in a gentle mumble, "Are you awake?"

"Mhmm..." Kylian’s gentle humming gave him quite a relief.

"Well, I wanted to let you know about something, babe." Zenith’s serene-looking face turned a little dark from a solemn expression when he muttered, "I will have to leave for the Agastya mansion, probably by tomorrow since it’s my mother’s death anniversary date approaching. So, until I return, will you be okay inside the Academy...without me?"
