POSSESSION: The Hidden Omega In All Alphas' Academy [BL]-Chapter 114: The Haunted Building
Chapter 114: Chapter 114: The Haunted Building
As soon as Aiden grabbed Kylian’s hand to drag him out of the library building, they started heading towards a giant belltower building which was at a distant spot in the academy premises.
After getting his hands free from him, Kylian felt hesitant to follow after him, but considering that he had indeed told him he would repay his favor, Kylian rather chose to take the risk and go along with him to that desolate building.
Despite his newly attained transition, he wasn’t too scared to be around Aiden since he was a beta, and besides, Kylian was a skilled man in combat training for self-defense which he had learned from a young age in his hometown training arena.
The building was quite far but they continued the long march, however, Aiden was sharp enough to notice Kylian’s reluctance in following after him. Holding a cryptic smile on his handsome radiant face, he rather enjoyed keeping him in suspense, before they reached the entrance of that building.
It was an empty but newly constructed huge building which made Kylian curiously gaze all around it, halting his motion.
"This building was also supposed to be another extra dormitory, but the work was halted because a rumor spread about this building." After a long pause, Aiden finally spoke in a serene tone, pointing his index finger at that building.
"A rumor?"
"Yes." Cryptically raising his thick left eyebrow, Aiden snorted at Kylian, with a low murmur, "A few boys claimed that they have seen ghosts in this building. That’s why the authority had to stop the construction of this building into a dormitory halfway...and now, it’s just a huge abandoned building." freēwēbηovel.c૦m
"Huh?" Since he was a child, Kylian was accustomed to living alone most of the time at their small one-roomed apartment, since Marita had to work for multiple jobs before opening her small restaurant.
Even though he never felt scared thinking of any paranormal activity, but the way Aiden intentionally tried to scare him off flinched him a little. Once again gazing at the giant building, Kylian gulped looking a bit anxious as he pondered, ’I had seen in movies that ghosts liked to live in tall abandoned buildings...so what if he’s telling the truth?’
"Well, I don’t believe in such rumor, that’s why...whenever I feel perplexed, I usually come and spend some time in solace here. Since it’s a rumored building, there will be no one to bother me anyway." His grin widened a bit in amusement to watch Kylian getting nervous after hearing him.
However, Kylian frowned his brows before grumbling at him aloud, "Seriously, is there no one who’s actually a sane person? I mean, what kind of person comes into a haunted building to find solace? This is crazy! I thought you were the most sane boy in your bully gang, but now I feel you’re abnormal too!"
"Haha," with a soft chuckle, Aiden walked through the glass door of the building before turning his head behind to summon him, "Well, I thought you were quite a brave-hearted boy. So, if you’re chickening out already, you don’t need to follow me anymore. I can go alone by myself here."
"Of course, I am not scared! If ghosts appear, I will beat the shit out of them as well!" Even though Kylian was actually nervous inside, but whenever his pride was hurt, his stubborn nature would automatically take over his rational self.
He gallantly walked through the glass door after Aiden and standing inside the dark building, he mumbled, "But, I will make one thing clear. If we both get into trouble by giving in to your crazy whims, we will both gonna run for our lives! I am not going to carry you outside if you faint because you’re fuckin’ heavy too. Got it?"
"Haha...sometimes I wonder, how could you be so honest when it comes to speaking your inner thoughts out?" Without realizing it himself, Aiden was staring tenderly at Kylian while walking behind him as they climbed upstairs. Since the building was abandoned, dusts were piled up on the floor and Aiden was accurately putting his steps on the ones Kylian was making while walking ahead.
"To be honest, I am not as honest as you think. Even though I want to be a transparent version of myself, but there’s something which will always hold me back..."
Getting his compliment made Kylian feel guilty when he pondered about faking his trait as an Alpha to survive inside the Academy. His voice sounded a little gloom along with his ocean eyes while he also wondered if he wasn’t being honest with Zenith either whenever he was being chased by him all this time.
However, sensing his change of tone, Aiden kept a brief pause before he asked him, "And...what is the thing which will be holding you back?"
"Why should I tell you? This is supposed to be my grave secret." Despite feeling a bit glum from his inner perplexed thoughts, Kylian sounded blatant as he put his stoic expression, glancing behind at Aiden’s curious face, "Besides, I don’t know anything about you either, and...AAEEKKK!"
But before Kylian could finish his words, sensing a creepy-mesh-like something at the back of his head when he turned around to face Aiden, Kylian shrieked and jumped scared from shock stumbling on his steps on the stairs. Aiden hurriedly caught him from behind, preventing another accident while Kylian panicked hard, scruffing the back of his head with his palm, "AAEEK! FUCKIN’ SPIDER-WEB! THEY ARE ALL ON MY HAIRS, UGH, FUCK!"
Watching Kylian panic like crazy while being held in his broad arms, Aiden couldn’t suppress his laugh, displaying the small two dimples on both sides of his cheeks under the small glistening rays of the sun entering through the broken glass windows near them.
His sudden laugh made Kylian fluster with embarrassment when he shrieked at him, "Damn, you’re responsible for this! So, at least show some courtesy by removing the spider webs from my hairs, fuck! It feels gross! Why are you fuckin’ laughing, dude?"
