Chapter 320 - 320: The Demon Flame Battle

"Hehe, the boss has ordered that no one should be spared."

Just as Mio's voice fell, a voice echoed from the distance.

Katsumata Takeru strode over step by step, followed by hundreds of pirates. A bloodthirsty grin formed on his face as he declared excitedly, "Everyone, did you hear the boss's order?"

"No one should be spared? Hahaha, just my style!"

"Then kill them all!"

"Hehe, slaughter them. When the boss ascends to the throne, we'll use their corpses to celebrate."

"Hahaha, good idea! The boss would love it, right?"

Voices rang out one after another.

Mio's pirate captains arrived with their own squads, bloodlust in their eyes. Without hesitation, Mio raised his right hand and waved it forward—the signal to begin the massacre.

Screams immediately echoed across the battlefield.

Amid the chaos, Mio stared at Saya, his tone laced with excitement. "Let me see how powerful the demonic power of the mythical beast truly is."

"If you want to know, then I'll show you—but don't regret it when it kills you," Saya replied coldly.

As he spoke, Saya's body began to change.

Black flames blazed from his form, hot and turbulent.

Sharp horns emerged from his head. Pitch-black wings stretched wide behind him, a thick tail lashed back and forth, claws protruded from his limbs, and fangs gleamed in his mouth.

This was the demon form of the Zoan-type Human-Human Fruit: Mythical Beast Model!

"Not bad. I'll take that power for myself," Mio grinned, thrilled.

With a sudden flap of his wings, Saya disappeared and reappeared in front of Mio, roaring, "Black Crow, go to hell!"

A claw, cloaked in raging black flames, slashed forward. The intense heat could almost melt skin on contact.

Mio's eyes flashed with surprise at the heat but disappeared the next second, easily dodging Saya's attack.

"I remember you were a loser from the old era. Beaten by Roger and Whitebeard, weren't you?"

Mio's voice came from behind Saya.

Saya twisted around with another claw strike, only for Mio to vanish once more. This time, Mio appeared to his right.

With his right fist clenched, Haki and multiple layers of power coiled around it, Mio grinned with disdain. "Since you're a loser of the old era, you should know your place. What right do you have to challenge the throne?"

Boom!

His punch landed squarely in Saya's abdomen. The immense force sent Saya flying like a cannonball, crashing into the ground and carving a deep furrow through it.

"You couldn't beat Roger, you couldn't beat Whitebeard... and you definitely can't beat me," Mio said indifferently.

"Damned brat! Who do you think I am?!" Saya roared, slowly rising with a twisted look on his face. "You're getting cocky after landing a few hits? Then try this!"

Demon Flame!

With a fierce shout, Saya slammed his palm into the ground, black flames erupting and spreading rapidly in all directions.

The flames surged across the ground and formed into a massive, gaping maw—then lunged to swallow Mio.

"Is something this slow supposed to work?" Mio sneered. He raised his right hand and snapped his fingers—snap!

Fwoosh—

In an instant, he switched positions with Saya.

"What the—?!" Saya's expression changed in shock. Flames quickly redirected toward Mio again as Saya swiped his hand.

"The real fun starts now. Hold on," Mio chuckled, snapping his fingers again.

A spatial field manifested, encompassing the entire battlefield.

Rumble—

Dark clouds rapidly gathered above. Thunder and lightning roared overhead.

Swish, swish—

Hundreds of wind blades formed in the sky, spiraling and compressing with deadly force.

Mio stepped forward, dodging the approaching flames, then waved his hand.

Wind blades cut through the air, rushing toward Saya.

Saya's expression darkened. His wings flared and folded in front of him like a shield, blocking the attack.

Blade after blade struck his wings but failed to break through.

"Interesting... Is it pure defense? Or regeneration?" Mio muttered, slightly impressed. Then he smiled. "What about this?"

Raising his hand again, lightning surged through the clouds and condensed into a roaring thunder dragon.

Boom!

The thunderous bolt struck Saya directly.

Already pale from the earlier blow, Saya's complexion worsened further—though moments later, his wounds began to heal.

"Regeneration... annoying," Mio murmured.

The demon flames rushed toward him again. Mio's frown deepened.

The flames seemed locked onto him, continuing to chase his presence.

"Tch. Troublesome thing."

Mio stepped forward, disappearing again—and reappeared directly in front of Saya with his right fist drawn back.

Haki. Dragon power. Demonic force. All of it layered into the strike.

Mio punched.

Saya's eyes lit with cold fury. Flames burst upward, wrapping around his arm, layered with Armament Haki.

He struck to counter—but Mio vanished again.

And in the next instant, Mio appeared behind him.

His power had shifted again—Saya could feel it. That unfamiliar pressure, unfamiliar aura.

Too late.

Mio's fist smashed into Saya's back, sending him flying with another spurt of blood.

Mio didn't hesitate. He felt the lingering power of the mythical Zoan and shook his head with a chuckle. With a thought, he discarded the copied power and restored his own Replacement ability.

In a flash, Mio appeared again in front of Saya, who was still flying backward.

Another punch came down.

But this time, Saya—anticipating the ambush—twisted midair and clawed at Mio with his flame-coated hand.

Boom!

Mio's punch collided with Saya's attack.

Saya was launched backward again, but Mio looked down at his fist, now licked by the black flames.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"The power of this flame... it's beyond expectation," he murmured.

His stamina was now being consumed at twice the usual rate.
