"I got hurt because I am still connected to the Icy Heart that you see there." Svalr stated as he looked towards the frozen heart in the middle of the room.
The heart in question was different from a human's heart as it basically just looked like a frozen orb that is in a dark violet color. The heart itself is not even beating but it does give off a powerful freezing energy. So powerful that Adrian knows that he will get frozen himself if the boy he came with did not protect him from the effects.
"You can still control your heart when you do not have it inside of you?" Adrian asked.
"My soul may be in a different body, but the heart is still connected to me. It also means that the fate of my heart will be the fate of my soul. If the heart is devoured by the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra, then he will also devour my soul in the process. I know that I will lose that fight as the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra has a stronger soul compared to mine because of the fragment that I told you about." Svalr replied.
"It does not explain why you have taken some sort of phantom pain earlier. You are not bleeding yet you clutched this side of your stomach and growled in pain." Adrian pointed out.
"I felt that because it is not just me that is connected to my heart. Elona is also connected to my heart because of my blessing to her. She is also deeply connected right now as she is using the powers that I have given her when I wanted to be sealed." Svalr stated.
Adrian then remembered that the visions he was shown before did not result in the immediate death of the Ice Queen Elona. She was heavily injured but died after her entire kingdom was destroyed. He could hypothesize that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra managed to devour the Heart of the Icy Abyss completely at that time.
The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra did not just devour the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss but also the soul of the Ice Queen Elona in the process. If the Ice Queen Elona did not get a proper burial or even a chance at reincarnation, then it would make sense for the Divine Blacksmith Aurgelmir himself to go insane. If the Ice Queen Elona could reincarnate then the Divine Blacksmith Aurgelmir could just reach out to Adrian himself and have the latter revive the dead.
"I would be breaking rules but with my current abilities I can do that. I just need something in exchange for that to happen and that would be something like the divine power of Aurgelmir himself. If he went insane because there was no other option, then this explains everything." Adrian muttered.
"You are muttering again but you did speak with the Great Star Gazer. Do not worry as I am unable to peer into her domain since it is sealed. But now is not the time for that! Go and help Elona immediately as she might actually die. She has been pierced by a dagger that has the poison of a god." Svalr stated as he started to cough out blood.
"I think I need to help you instead." Adrian stated in a worried tone as seeing a child get hurt is not easy on the eyes.
"This is just some pain that I can endure. If Elona dies, then I will die along with her or rather this body does. I will just reincarnate in another body, but I will have to leave my current family though." Svalr stated with a sad tone.
"Give me the coordinates then." Adrian stated as the coordinates that was given to him by his guild members were rather jumbled as if they were having some problem with their maps.
"Touch my heart. It should be able to guide you in detecting Elona. I know that your senses are much keener than other demons. You should be able to find her using your own senses as long as you have a connection." Svalr stated.
"Okay then. Stay alive while you can. I do not like to send you to your current family in a coffin." Adrian stated as he immediately touched the Heart of the Icy Abyss.
As soon as Adrian touched the heart, his fingers suddenly started to develop a small frosty layer. The frosty layer should have been impossible as Adrian's body is blessed by the Heart of the Vermillion Bird. The cold should not be able to bother him, but the freezing power of the heart is so potent even with the protection of the Vermillion Bird and the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss. The literal owner of the heart is there and protecting him, but he is still feeling the danger.
"Focus!" Adrian muttered as he tapped into the primordial energy of the Heart of the Icy Abyss.
The primordial energy of the Heart of the Icy Abyss was different from Adrian's own which is why it took some time for him to bend it to his will. The primordial energy of the Heart of the Icy Abyss even created a protective mechanism. This protective mechanism was the same energy that permeated Adrian's hand but that was not enough to actually make him fail.
The primordial energy inside of Adrian surged and basically devoured the protections of the Heart of the Icy Abyss. The primordial energy of the Heart of the Icy Abyss suddenly became tamer as a result of its protections being destroyed almost instantly. When the Heart of the Icy Abyss no longer opposed Adrian, he was now able to tap into the links of the heart. In an instant, Adrian saw the Ice Queen Elona clutching her injured stomach.
"Found her. I am now going there but there is some sort of barrier around the area. It will take some breaking down, but it is doable. Take care for now." Adrian stated as he vanished from his location.
"Go and save her or else this entire kingdom is doomed. I just need to make sure that the rats that entered are taken care of by the ones that you have left to protect this place." Svalr stated as he connected with his own heart to send attacks to the rats that entered the kingdom.

"Thanks for the save!" Amelia stated as she was protected by Kabrakan.
"No worries as we are guild members. We need to protect each other as much as we can. Also, only the two of us are currently here at the moment because we are the closest." Kabrakan stated as a swirl of ice suddenly manifested before them.
Kabrakan raised his shields and Amelia also created small drones prepared to attack. The swirl of ice vanished, and it was the Ice Queen Elona that appeared. They did not lower their guards though as the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra launched another attack towards their location. This attack was fiercer than before as the Ice Queen Elona was also located in their area now.
"Perfect Block!" Kabrakan shouted as his body suddenly glowed gold and completely blocked the attack.
"Can you spare me an antidote?" The Ice Queen Elona stated as she froze her wound, but she can feel the poison spreading.
"I got some, but I do not know if it will cleanse that. Please have them!" Amelia stated as she even gave a Legendary Tier antidote.
The Ice Queen Elona thanked Amelia, but all the potions only alleviated the effects of poisoning. Amelia looked like she wanted to do more but the Ice Queen Elona told her that it is fine. The Ice Queen Elona already expected this to happen when she asked for antidotes but the fact that all of them did not cleanse the poison is worrying her.
"I can slow down the poison creeping in my body, but we must retreat." The Ice Queen Elona stated.
"I agree with retreating." Adrian suddenly stated as he suddenly appeared next to the Ice Queen Elona.
"You! Argh!" The Ice Queen Elona was about to say something but the poison in her body made her clutch her stomach.
"We need you to be treated immediately or else the old man will definitely have a grudge against me when I know that you are hurt." Adrian stated even though he knows that the Ice Queen Elona could feel the same primordial energy she has from the former's body.
"Do you think that I will let you leave!" The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra shouted as it created a powerful snowstorm that converged to their location.
