Space travel was no small matter. Without thorough preparation, Kyōsuke would never act recklessly.

If something were to go wrong, the consequences could be far worse than death itself.

At the very least, he needed to consult someone experienced—like Kaguya. If that proved difficult, a short-term journey with her would be an acceptable alternative.

Experiencing it in person would always be better than endlessly theorizing from the comfort of his own home.

Naturally, Black Zetsu was firmly against the idea. It constantly felt that this man harbored impure intentions.

Mother, with her extreme personality, could be incredibly sharp when facing life-and-death matters, yet in daily life, she was as naïve and pure as a young maiden.

It wasn't concerned about them going out for a short trip. What it feared was that when they returned, it might inexplicably find itself saddled with a new little brother.

Especially lately—this scoundrel had even begun speaking to it in a fatherly tone, as if he already saw himself in this role. Black Zetsu swore it would never let that man succeed.

If he was truly after a journey for two, then so be it. Black Zetsu would go with him.

In its determination to protect its mother from the jaws of a tiger, little Black Zetsu was prepared to risk everything.

"Little Blackie, you're just mad you don't have a branch," Kyōsuke said with a faint smile.

While he busied himself with the intensive preparations required for space travel, elsewhere, Tobirama, unwilling to remain idle, began to stir trouble.

At the time of the village's founding, the Uchiha and Hyūga clans had put on quite the performance, seemingly working hand in hand.

Unaware of the truth, the Senju clan had poured their support into what turned out to be their political rivals, never imagining that their supposed allies would bite them at the most critical moment.

For years, the two clans had maintained a close and coordinated relationship, suppressing the Senju and its allied families both in secret and in the open.

This uneasy alliance continued until Yayoi took the seat as the Second Hokage.

In reality, many were well aware that the Hyūga and Uchiha were never truly respectful toward each other. The reason they had worked together against outside forces had more to do with a certain unclear, complicated relationship between the top figures of both clans.

Back then, with Kyōsuke's death on the battlefield and Madara's mysterious disappearance, the Uchiha had lost their two most powerful protectors in one stroke.

So, would the Hyūga still treat their so-called "elder brother" with the same deference as before?

The answer, of course, was no.

With Yayoi's brilliant advancements in scientific research, the strength of the Hyūga clan had grown rapidly with each passing day.

Once, techniques such as the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, Rotation, and Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists were elite secret arts that only exceptionally talented individuals could hope to learn. Now, they were part of the standard graduation requirements for academy students.

This alone showed just how powerful the Hyūga clan had become overall.

With power came confidence, and with Yayoi ascending as the Second Hokage, that confidence expanded uncontrollably.

Tobirama had long seen the deep-seated tensions between the two clans, but he had not acted hastily.

Having suffered too many setbacks at the hands of Kyōsuke, Tobirama had now grown far more cautious and composed.

On the surface, he kept a calm and unbothered demeanor, but behind the scenes, he was constantly sowing seeds of discord, desperately creating incidents to drive a wedge between the two clans.

By this point, the relationship between them had already fractured. If not for Yayoi's firm restraint, they likely would have already turned on each other completely.

"Let me give you a little push," Tobirama murmured coldly, his voice echoing deep into the night.

"You damned Uchiha!"

---

On the southern side of Konoha Village, within the bustling commercial district, a Hyūga chūnin trembled with rage, his fingers shaking uncontrollably. "Don't you think you've gone too far?"

"And if we have?" the Uchiha sneered in return. "If we could endure such insults, we wouldn't be worthy of our name."

Clearly, the two sides had once again clashed.

As for the cause?

No one present could say for certain. All they knew was that they refused to tolerate those who relied on their clan's name to get by.

To the Uchiha, the Second Hokage was nothing more than a lonely woman who failed in her pursuit of affection.

Without Lord Kyōsuke's assistance in the past, she might not have even claimed the position of Hyūga clan leader.

From the Hyūga's perspective, the Uchiha no longer had any unmatched powerhouse among them.

Despite the grand image the outside world painted, many believed that Uchiha Haruto's strength did not compare to their own clan leader.

If they were to truly clash, the probability of the Uchiha losing lives would be no less than thirty percent.

Given that, the Hyūga figured—how dare the Uchiha still act arrogant? Without the Hyūga's protection, they might not even be able to hold their own against the Senju anymore.

With such mutual disdain, conflict was inevitable.

This time, the altercation had simply escalated more than usual.

After a few rounds of cursing, both sides activated their dōjutsu—the Sharingan and the Byakugan flared to life. Verbal disputes were on the verge of transforming into a full-on brawl.

Just then, a figure swiftly intervened, entering the fray with an overwhelming presence and bringing down all the Uchiha members present in a matter of seconds.

"Remember, speaking recklessly comes with a price," the man declared with arrogance. His eyes swept over the fallen Uchiha like one would look at filth.

And not a single person present could challenge him.

Or rather, to be precise, only four individuals in the Uchiha clan could match him: Kochou, Izuna, Haruto, and Nagisa, all of whom possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan.

After all, this man had once fought toe-to-toe with Lord Kyōsuke. He was not to be underestimated.

The one who had arrived was none other than the infamous user of the Eight Gates, Sanfang —the very man who had once relentlessly pursued Yayoi, only to be rejected.

Over the years, his taijutsu had grown even more fearsome, especially after successfully transplanting cells of the Sage Body. His strength had risen to unimaginable levels.

Back in the day, incited by Tobirama, he had nearly lost his life fighting Kyōsuke.

Later, he had feigned acceptance of Yayoi's advice, appearing to sever ties with the Senju while secretly maintaining a covert relationship with Tobirama.

After Kyōsuke's sudden death, he redirected his fury toward the entire Uchiha clan.

This time, his appearance seemed to be in defense of the Hyūga. But in truth, he was deliberately escalating the conflict between the two clans.

His attacks had been full of power. One needed only to look at the few Uchiha still lying motionless on the ground to understand how vicious his assault had been.

With his clanmates brutally beaten, there was no way Izuna would simply let this go.

"Do not be afraid. As long as I am here, no one will harm even a single hair on your heads," Sanfang proclaimed, each word fanning the flames of hatred between the Uchiha and Hyūga.

He wore the mask of a hero fighting for the Hyūga's dignity.

Those who were beaten would harbor resentment, while those he "saved" would naturally feel grateful.

"Hahaha! Just look at their pathetic faces!"

"How funny! So this is the legendary Uchiha clan, the ones said to be unrivaled in the ninja world?"

"Oh, still glaring? How terrifying!"

"Maybe they're trying to apologize but are too embarrassed to say so, so they're using genjutsu to kneel!"

"Heh heh, that must be it! The Uchiha really do deserve their title as the greatest genjutsu clan."

"Hey, if you say that, the Kurama clan might not be happy."

Mockery and ridicule poured down like rain. The fallen Uchiha members nearly exploded with fury.

After all these years, who dared to show such blatant disrespect to them? And now, here in their own village, they were being humiliated so publicly.

"What's the point of bringing in outsiders?" one Uchiha sneered coldly, glaring back. "Wait until I recover, and then we'll fight one-on-one—until death. Do you dare?"

"Still so stubborn?" a Hyūga member said with disdain, stepping forward and lashing out with a powerful whip kick.

Fight until death?

He would make sure this man's injuries never healed.

Watching the scene, Sanfang smiled faintly. He knew that this incident had truly spiraled out of control.

Regardless of the cause, things would soon escalate to direct confrontations between the highest-ranking members of both clans.

Had it been a true Hyūga warrior, they might have retreated under Yayoi's command. But he was not bound by her authority.

After all, he was not a member of the Hyūga clan.

But outsiders would not know this.

To everyone else, it would seem as though the Hyūga had grown so powerful and overconfident that they dared to lay hands on the Uchiha in broad daylight.

But who could truly understand the intricate web of reasons and hidden truths behind it all?

"Stop!" A loud and commanding voice suddenly rang out through the scene.

A massive skeletal arm, pure white and radiating with energy, manifested out of thin air, shielding the injured Uchiha member in an instant.

"Lady Nagisa!" The young Uchiha, still reeling from his injuries and anger, turned his head and instantly lit up with hope and relief upon seeing who had arrived.

He knew now that someone had come to speak and act on his behalf.

Uchiha Nagisa, once known as the unchallenged little princess of the Hidden Leaf Village, had always stood above the confines of ordinary status. If she had ever desired political power, she could have easily claimed leadership of the ANBU with a single command.

As for strength, he never believed that so-called taijutsu could surpass the might of the Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Don't worry. I'll handle everything." Nagisa withdrew her Susanoo, its ethereal form fading away as she stepped forward to stand protectively before her clan member.

Her gaze swept coldly over the assailant, who now seemed far less confident under her scrutiny. She raised her hand slightly, forming a simple gesture, and in an instant, several ANBU operatives appeared beside her, each wearing animal-themed masks.

With her identity and authority, she required no orders to mobilize ANBU. Her word alone was enough.

"Attacking your comrades in public like this... I'd like to know what gave you the confidence to act so brazenly." With those words, she commanded the ANBU to take the man into custody for interrogation.

Once inside the ANBU's underground interrogation chamber, they would be forced to confess everything, down to the very day they first experienced a wet dream.

By all logic, things should have concluded at that point. After some heated exchanges and political maneuvering, it wouldn't have been difficult to quietly bury the matter behind closed doors.

But what Nagisa never expected was that the man who had kept his head down for decades—the same man—would suddenly decide to stand against her.

"Confidence?" The man sneered, voice heavy with disdain. "And what about you? What gives you the right to act so high and mighty? That dead father of yours?"

The moment the words left his lips, an uproar exploded through the crowd.

Everyone turned to stare at him, stunned expressions on their faces. No one had imagined that someone would be so reckless, so bold, as to insult the First Hokage in broad daylight within the Hidden Leaf Village.

Had he gone mad? Did he not care for his life?

For a moment, the entire area fell into an eerie silence. One could hear even a pin drop.

Many ordinary villagers were on the verge of shouting curses at him, but then they thought better of it. If this man didn't even care about the wrath of the ANBU, what might he do to a mere civilian who dared to provoke him? Retaliation might come in a quiet night, with no witnesses left to speak.

It was safer to stay silent and watch from the sidelines.

After all, was Lady Nagisa not here?

As expected, Uchiha Nagisa's expression instantly turned cold and stormy. She could not allow anyone to disgrace her father's name—not even slightly.

BOOOOM!!!

A terrifying surge of chakra erupted from her, shaking the very air around her.

Staring at the man, she pronounced her words slowly, each one like a thunderclap: "Come to the training grounds, if you dare. I'll show you what true confidence looks like."

Before Sanfang could respond, the Hyūga clan member who had almost been taken into custody suddenly shouted, unable to hold back his fury.

"We'll go! What, you think Lord Sanfang is afraid of you?"

"That's right. It's about time the illusion surrounding the Uchiha clan was shattered!"

"Today marks the end of their so-called legend."

"Hah! There never was any legend. They just made up tales to glorify themselves."

"Lord Sanfang, show them what real power looks like!"

Seeing this, Sanfang merely shrugged, his expression calm, filled with the self-assurance of someone who had stood atop countless battles.

"Very well," he said with a trace of amusement. "Let's go, then."
