Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Even Filming a Movie Isn't Shot Like This

Looking at the delicate girl, it's not easy for her to develop such incredible strength as a martial arts practitioner.

Just looking at Rachel Turkish's appearance, she had a small frame and tender skin, not appearing like a martial arts practitioner at all.

As a martial arts practitioner herself, Suri Drew naturally watched the match between the two and knew that Yigol Novak was strong enough, so she didn't worry or try to stop it.

She smiled, took two steps back, and prepared to enjoy the show.

If it wasn't a matter of occasion, she would have cheered them on.

After a while, Rachel Turkish, who was initially confident, began to look uneasy.

Her fair face gradually turned red with frustration. 𝙛𝙧𝒆𝒆𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝙤𝙫𝒆𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝓶

Yigol seized the opportunity and struck Rachel's arm with a force, causing her to release her grip in pain.

"Yigol Novak, you're quite interesting," Rachel said with her elegant voice.

"My wife said you're a martial arts practitioner who can easily beat people down, and indeed you are," Yigol replied with a smile.

"Hmph." Rachel Turkish decided not to engage with Yigol and walked away, arm in arm with Suri Drew.

Before leaving, Yigol saw Rachel's suitcase and reminded her, "Your luggage."

"Are you a man?" Rachel retorted.

"Honey, bring her luggage in. Let's go home," Suri told him.

"Alright." Yigol felt somewhat helpless, as he was just trying to be kind to his wife, not realizing this point.

So, now that his wife's bestie had arrived, he had to please her, too. Was that really okay?

Yigol sighed helplessly. As his wife had spoken, he had no choice but to comply.

Unlike their arrival, both Suri Drew and Rachel Turkish took the back seat, and Yigol became their exclusive driver for both of them. fre ewebn ovel

The two chatted quietly in the back, and Yigol occasionally glanced at them in the rearview mirror.

At first, they whispered, but gradually they became more energetic. It was a vibrant scene, but Yigol couldn't enjoy it as he had to focus on driving.

When they got home, Yigol went to the kitchen.

Rachel Turkish and Suri Drew continued chatting in the living room, where they could see the kitchen clearly and observe what Yigol was doing.

Rachel occasionally looked back, finding that not only was the man handsome, but even his cooking movements were so captivating.

"Your husband's not bad," Rachel praised.

"Of course," Suri replied proudly.

She had impulsively picked up a man halfway and gotten a marriage certificate. Who would have thought she got such a treasure – one who's good at socializing and cooking?

Yigol was right; she would gradually get to know him better over time.

Surprisingly, every time she learned something about him, she found it delightful.

It wasn't like they had only known each other for two days. If Suri hadn't maintained a bit of reserve, she probably would have pounced on him even before Yigol made a move.

"Honestly, when did you two meet? I saw you last month and you were single, and now you're married just a few days later," Rachel asked curiously.

Rachel Turkish was Suri Drew's best friend, so there was nothing to hide. Suri told her the truth.

"We've only known each other for two days..."

"What?" Rachel was dumbfounded. Was this really what a two-day acquaintance looked like?

"Two days ago..." Suri recounted her encounter and marriage with Yigol Novak to Rachel.

Rachel Turkish was so astonished that she couldn't speak for quite a while.

Not only Rachel, but even Suri herself sometimes felt a sense of surrealism.

After Suri nodded for the third time, Rachel finally believed her. "This is too dramatic! Even movies aren't filmed like this."

"I feel the same. If it weren't for him being here in reality, I would have doubted whether I was dreaming. If it was a dream, I think it's quite nice," Suri murmured softly.

Suri had always been independent and self-reliant, not because she liked it, but because she hadn't met anyone dependable.

Although she had only known Yigol Novak for two days, he had given her an unprecedented sense of happiness, care, protection, and affection. It felt really good.

"Do you want me to ask my dad to check his background?" Rachel suggested.

"No." Suri rejected without hesitation: "I was the one who approached him first, and I can assure you that he didn't approach me deliberately."

"He seems to have a lot of secrets, but being with him, I feel at peace. He's well-mannered and treats me well."

"He keeps our house clean, takes good care of me, doesn't enter my room without permission, and protects me."

"He's very rich, but he still works as a courier every day, saying he doesn't want to idle about. I find him very positive."

"He's an amazing cook and always makes my favorite dishes."

"Oh, and his fighting skills are impressive..." Suri told Rachel about Yigol's fight with Roger Willock.

"I think he's even more ruthless in a fight than you are. He has secrets, but he never hides them and waits for me to discover them. He said he wants me to know him and love him bit by bit as our little romantic interest. He just wants me to be sure that he'll protect me well."

"Honestly, it feels nice, as if he's a huge mystery waiting for me to solve."

"Just say you're love struck, so you find everything about him appealing. Let me tell you, the least reliable thing in this world is a man. Be careful," Rachel warned Suri with concern.

"Tell me, have you ever seen a man who would wash his wife's feet? And he's so wealthy that he doesn't need to please anyone."

"But you're so beautiful; which man wouldn't want you?" Rachel argued.

Suri couldn't help but sigh: "Well, I feel he's worthy of trust. Although he likes to tease me, he's never forced me to do anything I don't like. So far, we haven't even held hands."

"He's just pretending to be a gentleman," Rachel retorted.

"What about the over ten houses he has? He doesn't want a penny from me, saying they're my pocket money," Suri countered.

Rachel: "That's a typical pie in the sky. Those are his houses, and he can take them back any minute."

"But what about his cooking for me? He never makes any demands and does things according to my wishes."

Rachel continued to argue: "No one is that selfless. Once he gets you, he'll stop doing those things."

"Rachel Turkish, I feel like you're deliberately making things difficult for me. Why are you always arguing against me?" Suri asked, almost angrily.
