My Mansion of Gorgeous Maids in Another World-Chapter 30: You think you can look down on me?
Chapter 30: You think you can look down on me?
"So there’s a miracle inside you? Actually, you’re the first elf ever to sprout the World Tree’s Seed, huh?" Jett thought aloud, smiling.
I could boost her power by pumping her full... but do we stick to mana refinement or can I also cum in her mouth?
Wasting any of his semen during intercourse with Mia felt like a squander, but Jett hated feeling limited.
Man, I’d love to unload on her tits every now and then.
Still, Mia smiled so deeply at the thought of growing her World Tree that Jett forgot all his selfishness. He still had freedom in his choices; a few ’nos’ wouldn’t kill him, and he could always ask the other maids for help.
Thinking of the other maids, Jett looked at Noctlisa. "Well, Noctlisa, since I unlocked this Guardians’ Oath Function and saw Mia speak with her guardian, I’m guessing you’ll get to meet yours next—excited?"
Noctlisa nodded. "Not much’s known ’bout our guardian. Only the royals get to jaw with ’em. Not even my sire’s had the chance to speak—or be blessed—by ’em, let alone set eyes on ’em."
Jett gave her a light push toward the central summoning circle. "Alright, go talk with ’em—just be you."
With her master’s permission, Noctlisa stepped into the circle and repeated Mia’s ritual. The room’s temperature plummeted, the magic circle darkened, and shadows peeled from the walls, converging around her. She didn’t stay kneeling—Mia hadn’t once knelt before her guardian—so Noctlisa rose, eyes widening and fists clenched as she watched a cocoon of darkness crack open.
A pale hand with black nails emerged, ripping the shell wider. A second hand followed, then a headless woman in a flowing dark dress billowed into view. Where her head should have been, black clouds swirled atop her cut neck, with ice-blue eyes glowing within.
Master’s eyes gotta be glued to that rack.
The woman extended a boneless hand—a summons to knightly greeting. Any dullahan would kneel, gently grasp that hand, and kiss it.
Noctlisa didn’t flinch. "I’ve already got my Master, don’t I? Ain’t it the royals who oughta be thankin’ you?"
The guardian’s finger flicked toward Noctlisa’s face.
"You pass," her cold, resonant voice boomed in Noctlisa’s mind.
What’d I even pass? Would kneelin’ have scored me different loot?
"You’ve earned a racial evolution only I can unlock for Dullahans," the guardian announced, slicing her hand through the air as if slashing.
Coldness flooded the chamber, shadows streaking past the guardian to enter Noctlisa. Her innate armor formed around her, transforming her into a berserker-knight. Cracks appeared along her shoulder blades, spilling darkness that solidified into bat-winged metal plates.
"Your bloodline shall continuously evolve as long as you serve the Warden, Jett Talon," the Guardian intoned. "Should you prove unworthy and degrade yourself to a second-rate maid, your lineage shall lock itself. Serve him efficiently. Summon me again when you contribute to the Warden’s Rise."
"No problem," Noctlisa grunted, dazed.
The Guardian glanced at Jett before shattering into shadows, vanishing. The chamber’s darkness settled back into place.
...
May we meet again, Warden Jett Talon.
"Another one down. She seemed a bit warmer with me—probably just me imagining it. What do you think, Mia?"
Mia answered softly, "Cold, lofty, and mysterious. She seems like a distant guardian who moves only when her race faces extinction."
"Not like Mother World Tree, right?" Jett smirked.
Mia smiled faintly. "Yes."
Noctlisa returned to Jett’s side, her daze lingering. She bowed. "I’ve got my reward, Master. Thanks for makin’ it happen."
"No sweat," Jett chuckled. "So, what d’you think?"
She lifted her gaze. "Those words ’you pass’ keep buzzin’ in my head. If I’d knelt, would I have gotten different or worse loot, Master?" freёwebnoѵel.com
"Fair point. Maybe she wants a dullahan for stuff royals can’t handle."
Mia’s eyes gleamed. "Perhaps she harbors mistrust toward the royal family."
Jett nodded. "Coming from former royalty, that’s telling. It suggests something shady in the Dullahan lands."
Noctlisa affirmed, "Whatever comes, I trust my sire."
"Hey, maybe we can hit him through the circle—like I did with my mom," Jett said. Noctlisa’s eyes widened, and she faintly smiled. "We need to explore this function anyway."
"Thanks, Master!" she bowed deeply.
Just then, Jett received a quest.
Oh, is it about Noctlisa?
[You have received a new quest.]
[Respond to the Guardian’s Oath.]
Jett was caught off guard—he thought the Mansion would handle Noctlisa’s problem. Instead, he realized he had to figure out the Summoning Chamber himself before calling in reinforcements. The real test was to answer the Guardians’ Oath.
So I’m up next—let’s see what this system wants, he thought, and the system window blinked into view.
[Many Wardens work with Guardians to keep the world in balance: some even inherit the Guardians’ Oaths Function within the Summoning Chamber.]
[Guardians who swear an oath to the Warden Mansion may petition it for aid.]
[One guardian has requested help.]
That tracks—time to talk with them.
Jett stepped forward. "Looks like it’s my turn to chat with the Guardian?" He strode to the circle’s center and glanced at the drawn language. No kneeling for me.
Black clouds seeped from his shadow, spreading across the circle as his mana pooled over the sigils. His maids stood dutifully at the chamber’s edge, hands folded at their skirts.
"Any of ’em human guardians?" she asked.
"Not to my knowledge," Mia replied. "They recognize high humans as Heroes, I believe."
Jett rolled his eyes at her; both his world and Fayralia having heroes felt strange.
"Oh," Noctlisa nodded, enlightened.
Suddenly, white clouds formed in the circle, billowing everywhere and hiding the floor. Mia and Noctlisa realized at once that this wasn’t Jett’s doing but the guardian arriving. The mists climbed, and through the haze, a pair of silver eyes snapped open.
Jett didn’t even look up. Good thing Noctlisa and Mia went first—they didn’t kneel to their guardians, so I know I shouldn’t either.
He closed his eyes, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You think you can look down on me?"
