Keira’s heart raced. This was a lot of information to process. Could these people truly be Keera’s real family? Or were they just opportunists? She needed to find out more.
“Mary, do you have any details about them? Anything that can help me verify their claims?”
Mary nodded. “I kept a few things for you, just in case. Let’s go to my place, and I’ll show you.”
Keira agreed, hoping this would lead to more answers and help her understand the tangled web of Keera’s past and present.
