’Compared to what my pack went through twenty years ago, this is nothing’. I bore this thought in my mind as I leaped, even surpassing my limits.

I found myself on top of the three-headed hybrid creature’s back, and using my claws, I struck its middle head before blinding its two eyes.

The beast shook violently as it tried to make me fall from its back.

But instead of me doing what it wanted by falling off of its back, I dug my claws into its flesh. In that way, no matter how much it shook its body, it was not able to make me fall from its back.

Because the three-headed hybrid creature couldn’t get rid of me, it fell on the ground with its back, probably thinking that it would do the trick. Unfortunately for the three-headed hybrid creature, I never let go of my prey as long as my target against it was active. I would not let go of it unless I had succeeded in making its remaining eyes go blind.

Roar! Roar!

The three-headed hybrid creature roared violently and forced itself back up to its feet. And as soon as it stood up on its feet, the hybrid creatures and wild beasts that surrounded us began to attack me.

It was unexpected for me, but in the end, I had to let go of the three-headed hybrid creature and jump off of its back.

"So this is how you savage want to play? Then bring it on!". I declared as they shielded the three-headed hybrid creature and were preparing to attack me in herds.

’Make sure you don’t die, Nolan. You know that you are irreplaceable to me’.

"I know that more than you do, Nikolai". I replied to him before I switched into a complete beast mood. I began ripping the wild beasts that attacked me in herds.

Their red, green and other differently colored blood stained the ground as fast as one could count. My body was covered in their blood too, and the smell of their blood was enough to make one become nauseous.

After defeating seven of the wild beasts and now down to the last of them, I ripped its head off of its body and its body fell with a loud thud on the ground.

Its disconnected head was a few inches away from its body. Its mouth was open, and its tongue was touching the ground.

I staggered a little bit and abruptly shook my head.

My eyes felt dizzy.

My body felt like it was soon going to give up, and breathing felt like a punishment.

I wasn’t surprised. This body had been pushed beyond its limits.

After Nikolai finished fighting the wild beasts at the border, he had to return to his human form, as he wanted to preserve my Lycan form energy.

So, my Lycan form had long been exhausted at the border.

"This is not looking good for me. I have to end this battle quickly before I really end up dying today". I muttered to myself.

I had to mutter because I was running out of breath to talk loudly.

’Nolan, you are in bad shape. Shift into my human form. My human form might not be as strong as your Lycan form, but it is much better in this current situation. I haven’t exhausted my human form’s energy’.

Nikolai said to me, but I could only smile and endure the dizziness in my eyes. Didn’t he realize that if I dared to be killed in his human form, both of us were going to die? I am not planning on ever letting that happen.

At least, I might reconsider shifting into his human form after I kill that monstrous three-headed hybrid creature. Monsters like these shouldn’t exist in this world!

Taking a deep breath in and taking a deep breath out, cold smoke escaped from my mouth and from my nose.

The weather was cold.

I focused the energy I had left on my agility. I didn’t waste time and I dashed around the five hybrid creatures that were still shielding the three-headed hybrid creature.

I was so fast that they couldn’t see me coming.

I jumped on the three-headed hybrid creature’s back. My paws hit two of its heads so hard that I felt the impact on my shoulders.

The three-headed hybrid creature fell on the ground and, using the golden opportunity in front of me, I jumped down from its back and slashed its remaining four eyes with both my claws.

Roar!!!

The agonizing scream of the three-headed hybrid creature put a smile on my face.

It rolled violently on the ground and was groaning and desperately attacking, as if it could see me.

Compared to me, it was not that strong after all. But, I shouldn’t get too cocky.

My speed and strength were indeed unmatched.

The five hybrid creatures realized what was going on and began to attack me.

I was seconds away from fainting due to exhaustion, but before that could happen, I shifted into Nikolai’s human form, because I knew if I fainted in my Lycan form, it would be a death sentence for me.

Because if I had fainted while I was in my Lycan form, being able to shift into Nikolai’s human form would be a miracle.

Upon shifting into Nikolai’s human form, I escaped from the hybrid creatures that wanted to catch me in between their sharp teeth and fangs. I had backflipped a long spring away from them.

Removing the black mask from my face, I breathed deeply and muttered, "I feel much better now".

I could feel my eyes darken and glow while I stared at the hybrid creatures that were running towards me while growling aggressively at me. "Let me show you guys why I am a Lycan". I said with a grin after making my fingers change to claws.

Slash!

The very first hybrid creature that got to my side, my claws penetrated its eyes after I left its front and shifted to its side.

I grinned as the hybrid creature struggled mightily. Despite its endless struggle, I withdrew my claws from its eyes and heard the sound my claws made as I did that.

The sound of blood pouring out of its eyes filled my ears before I slit its throat using my claws.

"Next". I said as I focused on the four hybrid creatures that smartly stood together as they arrived at my side and confronted me.

I planned on ripping off their heads one after the other, before I would take my time to turn the three-headed hybrid creature into my punching bag before I would finally kill it off.
