When he left, a thunderbolt entered the room through the window and caused lightning to flash in the room. The room was lit up brightly for a brief moment. The light was so bright that Elder Storm Hawk had to close her eyes to protect them.

When the light disappeared, a man had appeared in the room. The man was hovering in the air before her. He was bobbing up and down in the air as if he were a flotation device in water.

The man was handsome. He had smooth and fair skin. His skin was like porcelain.

He had blue hair that was more energy than matter. The hair was flowing around his head. Because of the way the man's hair flowed, it looked like a fluid, not a solid.

The only blemish the man possessed was that his porcelain skin was cracked in many places. The cracks were deep and extended all over his body.

Blue light was shining from within the man. The light shone through the cracks and illuminated the surroundings.

One can even catch a glimpse of a lightning bolt within the man. The lightning bolt was moving freely within him as if the man didn't have internal organs. It was more like the bolts of lightning were the man's internal organs.

Elder Storm Hawk saw the man and ignored him. The man also ignored her. He was looking in Arthur's direction. His gaze followed Arthur from this floor until Arthur left the lecture then.

Only then did the man turn to her and ask, "Junior sister, don't be so glum."

She didn't react to what he said. She continued to look out the window as if he didn't exist.

Her behavior made the man chuckle. He said, "Do you remember that I had to carve out some time to train you when you just entered the sect? So you're getting what you sowed."

Elder Storm Hawk finally spoke. She said, "That's why I hate this more. I can't be irrational and throw a tantrum. I don't like it. I don't like it at all."

The man laughed. His laughter caused the sky to darken and a storm to appear. But the storm clouds only appeared above the lecture hall.

Lightning flashed in the sky above them, and thunder boomed in synchrony with the man's laughter. When the man was done laughing, the sky cleared and the storm disappeared as if was an illusion.

The man asked, "What do you think of the boy?"

She shrugged and said, "Too early to tell. But even if he fails to comprehend both of the original techniques, he will still have two other reasons to be in the S-grade and will still have the potential to be very powerful."

The man nodded. Then he said to her, "Do you want to fight?"

Elder Storm Hawk's eyes lit up when she heard that. She asked in anticipation, "Who do we fight?"

The man replied with a grin, "Let's go and visit the corpse lovers. I heard that they got a new batch of sweet nectar."

Elder Storm Hawk began to grin too. She said, "Hopefully they don't break too quickly."

She was excited that her skin began to light up with blue tattoos. Lightning snaked out of her body through the tattoos on her skin. The lightning then pooled together and formed the shape of a large blue hawk.

The lightning hawk flapped its wings and soared into the sky through the window. The man turned into a bolt of lightning and followed her.

A loud thunderclap shook the world after they left. It was strange because there were no signs of a storm or any lightning.

Arthur looked up when he heard the thunderclap. He looked around for a while but didn't see the source of the thunderclap.

All he saw was a flash of blue in the sky. But that flash was fine as soon as he raised his head to look.

He shook his head and said, "What weird weather."

Then he returned to thinking about his goals.

He has two main goals for now. One is the short-term goal, while the other is a long-term goal. Both are very important to him.

The short-term goal is to transcend the first mortal coil. The long-term goal is to find a way to start to earn karma.

He is not sure about the difficulty of transcending the first mortal coil because he doesn't know if he will be able to comprehend the force diagram. He sure hopes to use the Everlasting Wood Art to reach the second mortal coil, but there are too many uncertainties about its difficulty.
