Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva-Chapter 800 - 23 Tilan’s Fulfilling Week_3
These maids, whether in temperament or ability, are all top-tier choices. Among the many songstresses seen by Ores, probably only those elf maids of her own mansion could compare. However, those elf maids from her mansion are all elite talents selected from the noble houses of elves; others, even if they are songstresses, do not have this privilege.
Sometimes she also gets curious about Tilan's exact origins. It seems like she knows a lot about this friend, and yet she feels like she knows nothing at all.
With the speed of this hover car, it didn't take long for the two to arrive at the 'Lagertis' company building.
This building, located in the business center, resembled a giant sliced mousse cake with each floor having a different color, clear-cut and somewhat adorable.
Walking into the company, one could smell the faint scent of caramel in the air, truly befitting of a company specializing in candy.
"Welcome both of you to 'Lagertis'."
They were received by a representative of the company, who was dressed in a slightly loose plaid dress, not in the business suits typical of other corporations. Tilan's gaze slid past her, quickly scanning the building's other employees. The others were similarly dressed, in what appeared to be retro, pastoral styles rather than professional suits.
"Please, follow me."
Shortly after, the two arrived at a bustling conference room. Some of the other songstresses had already arrived early. Some were surrounded by assistants briefing them, others were helping songstresses fix their hair, and there was also chatting and talking amongst the songstresses.
"Tilan~" Audrey was wearing a moon-white gala dress today, adorned with silver-threaded phoenix bird patterns that were rather beautiful.
The other songstresses also turned their heads. Ailu Kelu was very familiar with Ores and Tilan, just giving a simple wave of the hand. She wore a light purple dress today, very different in style.
Prin was still in her red flame-like short skirt, leaning towards a more functional style, that is, straight and efficient.
Off to the side was 'Weilan Bubble' Merulu, who didn't know Tilan but was more familiar with Ores, cheerfully calling out "Sister Ores" before jogging over.
"You're here too." Ores slightly leaned over to hug Merulu and stroked her hair.
Merulu usually stayed in the Flying Feather Star Domain. Although not far, it was after all cross-star domain travel, so she didn't visit the Emerald Moon Star Domain very often in a year.
"This is Tilan." After a short while, Ores introduced them to each other.
"Hello, Tilan."
For Tilan, Merulu did not show the same courtesy as she did with Ores. She held her head high, even trying to sneakily tiptoe, suggesting she was not shorter than Tilan. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
"Hello."
Tilan had seen Merulu from a distance years earlier when she visited the Flying Feather Star Domain, though they did not know each other at the time.
For Merulu's attitude of wanting to seem grown-up, Tilan responded with a smile, not minding it much, briefly exchanged a few words, and then went over to greet Prin, who also nodded slightly in response.
Although Prin had expressed a competitive stance, the relationship between the two wasn't bad. In a sense, Prin felt that Tilan was the most talented and even the strongest among the new generation of songstresses, which is why she held such a strong pursuit and competitive spirit.
It wasn't long after the six sat down that tonight's planning meeting slowly began. First, the lights dimmed, and then the central stage raised a lifelike projection screen, which used a series of exquisite drawings to narrate the story of the candy witch Lagertis from beginning to end. This was followed by the company's mission and creed, and so on.
As the lights came back on, the chief event planner arrived with a team of staff. They would design specific images, gowns, scene actions, and co-branded dialogue for the six songstresses.
"The sweetness of candy always carries with it the beautiful fantasies and fairy tales of mankind."
"Although most people find life to be full of bitterness, we still hope that our candy can bring a tiny bit of sweetness to everyone."
"This is the fan club of candy witch Lagertis, where everyone adores the once ancient witch, and also hopes to pass on her blessings."
"Lagetis's candy house welcomes your visit."
