The four of them sat around the table inside the room. The small cake was now placed in the center, surrounded by an array of freshly cooked Chinese dishes that the three ordered before Minjae arrived

There were a lot. There were steamed dumplings, sweet and sour pork, spicy mapo tofu, and a large bowl of stir-fried noodles that Jihoon was already eyeing like treasure.

"I swear," Jihoon said, as he shoved a dumpling in his mouth. With only the 4 of them, they were comfortable with each other enough to eat as they wished. "This place is good."

"Yeah, we know. But slow down or you'll choke," Seojin uttered, laughing as she poured them all tea. "We have the whole night, you know."

Yura took a small bite of the tofu, then looked over at Minjae with a small smile on her face.

"So, Oppa… be honest. What is it like being the face of a clothing brand? Is it hard?"

Minjae paused at the question. He brought down his chopsticks on his plate and gazed at Yura like he wasn't expecting the question.

"I mean…" Minjae shrugged his shoulders a little before leaning back on the chair. "It's exciting, that's for sure. But it's also a little bit overwhelming cause I didn't expect it to blow up this fast."

"Overwhelming how?" Seojin curiously asked. With the three of them having not much popularity, they do not know what Minjae is experiencing through.

"Well, there's a lot of pressure," Minjae answered honestly. "The brand's name is everywhere right now. That means a lot of people are also watching everything I do."

"Oh I get it, Hyung," Jihoon nodded as he chew a mouthful of noodles. "Ladies must be sliding in your dms now because you look cool as hell in those photos."

"Yeah I agree." Yura agreed at Jihoon. "Me and my cousin were walking around a few days ago then we saw Minjae's billboard near the subway station. There were a lot of people staring at it and even giggling!"

"You guys," Minjae laughed as he shook his head. He was used to that reaction on his last life, but it still felt embarrassing when they were talking about it.

"What hyung? It's true!"

"Yeah! I agree with Jihoon"

"That's why we should be thankful to have Minjae Oppa as our friend."

The three took turns trying to butter him up.

Minjae just shook his head again. He found the three unbelievable. However, when he remembered the success of their current episode, he couldn't help but ask them about their feelings towards it.

He was curious since the three were complete newbies, unlike him.

Jihoon was the first to react. Well, of course, he will be. The moment Minjae brought up the question, his eyes lit up like a child at a candy store. It was evident that he was happy about it.

"Hyung! I swear, I thought I was dreaming!" Jihoon said, almost dropping his chopsticks in excitement. The sides of his lips immediately stretched to the side, smiling so widely.

"My followers went up by like, five thousand! In just a day! Can you imagine that, Hyung? I thought I was dreaming!"

"No way," Yura laughed, covering her mouth in surprise. "You gained that much?"

"I'm serious!" Jihoon leaned in. He quickly took his phone from the table and went to his wintergram account. Afterward, he waved his phone in the air, showing them the proof.

"I even got a few DMs from people asking what shampoo I use! They said my hair looks so smooth! Then there were some who said I'm funny! I still can't believe it up to this time." Jihoon's heart beat faster. He was truly in joy.

"You better start working on a brand deal, then, Jihoon," Seojin teased him as she bit into a dumpling. "Time to make yourself useful."

"Don't worry noona. I'd sell shampoo in a heartbeat. I'll even write the jingle for it and dance for the people" Jihoon joked around as he dramatically flipped his hair, which made everyone burst into laughter.

"How about you, Yura?" Minjae turned to her. "You were great in the episode. I think a lot of people really liked your energy."

"Yeah…" Yura blushed slightly at the compliment. The truth was, she was also happy, feeling as if she was on cloud nine.

"Well thanks, Oppa. My agency actually called me this afternoon and said I did well. They were really happy about my performance.

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah, they said the public response was good. They even want to push me for more variety shows now." Yura laughed softly. "I don't know if I'm ready for that, but it was really nice to hear some encouragement."

"Well, what can we say? You were so natural," Seojin nodded and sweetly smiled at Yura. "It didn't look like it was your first time at all."

"Exactly!" Jihoon added as he showed Yura a determined smile. "Meanwhile, I was just there shouting and flailing like an overexcited puppy."

"Well, you are also good, Seojin." Yura chuckled. "Did you get any updates from your agency?"

Seojin took a sip of tea before answering a subtle smile forming on her lips.

"Actually, yeah. I got two calls for casting opportunities earlier today. It was nothing big, but just supporting roles for now. It's small but it's still a start."

Seojin came from a small agency so opportunities like this don't come often. That's why even if it was just supporting roles, she was willing to do it all.

After all, she knew that at the right time, she would also achieve her dream to land a lead role.

"Woah! Seojin noona's gonna be on the big screen!" Jihoon exclaimed, raising his hands up in celebration.

"Calm down, you fool" Seojin laughed. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

Minjae smiled as he listened to them talk. He genuinely smiled at them.

He could see how much the success of their guesting had meant to them. This was the time for them to know that even a single project like that could open doors for opportunities that they weren't expecting.

Minjae hoped that in this way, their spirits could somehow light up. He knew that because of the sudden problem with the timing of their drama, the three were worried and anxious.

After all, they spent their days and months of effort on it.

"Well, I'm proud of you guys," Minjae said sincerely, leaning back in his chair. "You're all doing great."

The mood in the room softened just a little as Minjae's words settled into their hearts. The laughter of them calmed down. It was replaced by quiet smiles and warmth.

"Thanks, Hyung," Jihoon said, this time with a more genuine tone. He leaned back in his seat, "Honestly though… now that we're talking about it, I'm kinda scared too."

"About the drama?" Seojin gave him a knowing look. She was also anxious so she could relate to him.

"Yeah," Jihoon nodded. "I mean, there's less than a month left until it airs. I keep thinking, what if people don't like it? What if my acting sucks?"

"You're not alone," Yura chimed in, pressing her lips together. "I've been losing sleep over it for the past few days. My agency keeps reminding me that this drama is a huge opportunity so the is a lot."

Seojin placed her chopsticks down gently and folded her hands on the table.

"It really is. We've spent so much time working on it. We spent lots of sleepless nights and we really poured our effort into it. I want it to go well for all of us."

Minjae looked at them, his expression calm but steady. He could see it clearly now—their anxiety as they talk about their drama.

Well, it was understandable. Their careers were still young, and this drama was the first that they did.

"Don't worry guys," Minjae smiled at them. "You guys worked hard. You gave it everything, so cheer up alright? It will be successful."

"But what if it doesn't?" Yura asked quietly, her voice a bit softer now.

"Then we'll just keep going," Minjae said firmly. "This drama isn't the end. It's only the beginning. No one expects perfection, but genuine love for acting. And the three of you are the most genuine people I've met in this industry."

A moment of silence passed between them, not out of awkwardness, but from the weight of shared emotion.

Jihoon slowly reached for his tea cup.

"Alright. Then let's make a wish."

"What wish?" Yura frowned. frёewebηovel.cѳm

"Hays unnie. For our drama's success, of course!," Jihoon said with a grin. "Let's wish that it reaches the people it needs to reach. That it finds success. And that we get to do more stuff together after this."

"Oh well, that sounds like a good wish to me." Seojin smiled and lifted her cup as well.

"For once, Jihoon is smart." Yura chuckled. "Let's do our best till the very end."

Minjae reached for his cup too.

He smiled as looked at the three of them.

"To the drama," Minjae said.

"To the drama!" they echoed together.
