Hannah, trying to keep her composure, took a deep breath and spoke first. "We learned that the female Terracorn is stronger and more aggressive than the male. She's faster, and it seems like she's the one in charge. The male didn't react as much to the attacks, but he didn't go down easily either. We have to be more careful with these creatures—especially when dealing with the female."

Minseok, now sitting up with Hannah's help, added, "We shouldn't let our guard down. They move together, and if we underestimate them, we could end up in trouble again."

Seojun ignored her, turning his focus to the rest of the group. "The Beast aren't your enemy. Your hesitation is. Learn, and next time you'll survive."

"Seriously?!" Yoora exploded. "You throw us into the middle of a battle with no warning, no training, and now you're just acting like it's no big deal? What kind of lesson is this? We could've died out there! And you didn't even give us any real guidance!"

"Minseok, Hannah What did you learn?" Seojun asked making Yoora face red in anger.

"What did you learn?" he asked.

The group stayed quiet for a moment. Minseok and Hannah glanced at each other, already knowing what was coming.

Seojun spoke again. "Minseok, Hannah… both of you already experienced life and death situations. You've seen danger. You've been close to dying. But even after that, you still didn't fix what you're lacking."

Hannah's eyes widened. She stepped forward a little, her voice nervous. "I-I tried to improve, but no—"

Seojun raised a hand, cutting her off sharply. "Excuses."

Hannah froze, her mouth half-open. She couldn't say anything else.

"No one is stopping you from improving," Seojun continued, "You think effort means trying just once? That surviving once means you're ready? Wrong. If you truly understood how weak you were back then, you wouldn't let the same weakness stay."

He looked around at all of them.

"You will face stronger beasts. You will face real fear. You won't always have someone to help you. What will you do then? Hesitate? Apologize? Blame others?"

Hannah lowered her head. Minseok clenched his fists.

"Today you learned one thing," Seojun said. "You are not ready. But now you know what to fix. Use that. Or next time… you might not make it."

"Class is over. Next time, bring your PE uniform."

Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked away, footsteps echoing in the now quiet space.

Yoora clenched her fists. "What the heck was that?!" she shouted, clearly furious.

Hannah bit her lip, tears slowly filling her eyes. She tried to hold it in, but her shoulders shook. Elshienne moved quickly and wrapped her arms around her.

"Oh, Hannah, it's okay," Elshienne whispered softly, hugging her tightly. "You did your best."

Minseok looked down, then gave a small, sad smile. "Professor is right," he said. "We really did go through life and death before… but we didn't fix anything. I think he did all this to remind us—so we wouldn't forget again."

The group went quiet, reflecting on those words.

Nathan, who had been watching in silence, couldn't take it anymore. His eyes darted to where Seojun had left. He suddenly ran after him.

He saw the door Seojun entered and pushed it open without thinking.

"Seojun!" Nathan shouted.

Seojun turned his head slightly, but kept walking. Nathan grabbed his arm, forcing him to stop and turn around.

Nathan's grip on Seojun's arm tightened. His eyes were full of anger.

"Don't think too high of yourself!" he shouted. "Just because you're strong doesn't mean you can do whatever you want!"

Seojun stared at him quietly, but Nathan didn't stop.

"You threw them in danger without warning, like it's nothing! Do you even care if someone gets hurt?!" he continued, his voice shaking. "That's not how a teacher should act! That's just… selfish!"

He let go of Seojun's arm roughly and stepped back.

"You think just because you've been through more, you're above everyone else," Nathan said, breathing hard.

Seojun finally opened his mouth.

"Are you finished?" he asked coldly.

Nathan's jaw clenched. He didn't answer, just glared. Seojun looked at him with calm eyes. "Then listen."

"I know exactly what I'm doing," he said. "If you think I'm careless, then you weren't paying attention. Everyone learned something. That's more than what any lecture can give."

Nathan frowned. "That doesn't give you the right to treat them like test subjects."

"I didn't treat them like test subjects," Seojun said coldly. "I treated them like people who'll face life and death whether they like it or not."

He took a step closer. "The world won't wait for them to be ready. So I won't either."

Nathan's hands curled into fists. "There are other ways—"

"There aren't," Seojun cut him off. "You've been protected too long, Nathan. You think your strength is enough to protect your sister, but it's not. Not if you stay soft."

Nathan's eyes widened slightly. "What did you say?"

"You heard me," Seojun said, turning away. "If you want to protect Elshienne, then stop whining and get stronger."

Nathan stood still, his hands clenched as he stared at Seojun's back.

"You really did it," he said, his voice low but shaking with emotion. "You made the gap between us even bigger."

Seojun paused for a second but didn't turn around.

Nathan took a deep breath, his eyes filled with hurt. "If you wanted to push us away… you're doing a great job."

With that, Nathan turned and walked back, leaving Seojun alone in the room.

Seojun sat down on the chair, his body feeling heavy. He leaned back and closed his eyes for a moment. Sui bounced onto the table in front of him and tilted his head.

"Kyuu~ Are you okay, Master?"

[Geez, that's so intense. What's with that, host? You were way too harsh!]

Seojun let out a deep sigh. "I know," he said quietly. "I didn't plan to be like that at first."

He looked at the ceiling, his voice calm but tired. "But when I saw them in front of the beast, seeing their reaction I realized something. They're not ready. Even after facing death before, they didn't grow enough. I'm not mad at them... I just needed them to understand how serious this world is now."

Sui tilted her head more, listening. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

"I'm not trying to hurt them," Seojun said. "I want them to survive. Even if they hate me now... if it helps them live later, then it's worth it."

Seojun lowered his eyes, his voice growing softer.

"If something happened to those two… Mom would be the one who gets hurt the most," he said, clenching his fist. "Just imagining her crying… it hurts."

Sui quietly sat beside him, her tiny eyes full of worry. "Kyuu~ Master"

[Will they still come tomorrow?]

Seojun stared ahead for a moment before answering. "Up to them," he said quietly. "I won't force them."
