Chapter 195: Chapter 195: I Will Cry Too When I Leave Dad and Mom

She found it somewhat amusing, how could such a foolish family have troubled her in their hands in their past life?

When Xu Jinzhi came to her senses, she had already entered another elevator and quickly went upstairs, where she first encountered Xie Linchuan.

Xie Linchuan politely greeted Xu Jinzhi and then apologized for the incident involving Xie Yihang last weekend.

"I have already made things clear to Yihang, and he has realized his mistake. When he returns to the old house for dinner this weekend, he will personally apologize to Tuantuan," Xie Linchuan said gravely.

Because the adults of the two families were not close, Tuantuan and Xie Yihang did not usually play together.

Now, as Old Master Xie was getting older each year, although nobody wished it, the inevitable was bound to happen.

Therefore, they would now visit the old house almost every weekend to have a meal with the old man.

"We’ll see then," said Xu Jinzhi indifferently, not discussing whether or not to forgive, as that was for Tuantuan to decide; she wouldn’t promise anything on his behalf.

Xie Linchuan did not say much more, and the two went to the meeting room together. As the rest of the people gradually arrived, the meeting formally began.

In the blink of an eye, it was Saturday.

When Xu Jinzhi and Xie Yanchuan brought Tuantuan back, Xie Yihang indeed came over to apologize to Tuantuan immediately, saying it was not intentional last time.

Tuantuan was somewhat reluctant and pouted without saying a word.

But Xie Yihang wasn’t angry and kept chattering around Tuantuan non-stop.

Then Xie Yihang also mentioned that he was about to start kindergarten, to which Tuantuan just glanced at him and said nothing.

When Xu Jinzhi looked over again, Tuantuan was already playing racing games with Xie Yihang, knowing the two had made up, Xu Jinzhi did not say much.

In the living room, Xie Linchuan told his father about Liang Shiyu’s decision to return to work.

Xie Suian almost instinctively frowned, but Xie Linchuan was no longer as panicked as he had been three years ago, or even two years ago.

Although having Liang Shiyu return to work was a reluctant choice for Xie Linchuan, he was trying hard to get everything back on track and attempting to use this method to regain the affection they once shared with each other.

But Xie Linchuan could not possibly reveal all these reasons; he expressed his overt thoughts. Though his tone was calm, it also conveyed his resolution.

Liang Shiyu, however, was nervous, worried that Xie Suian would not agree. She had been stuck at home unable to do anything for years and was truly fed up!

After a brief silence, Xie Suian agreed, even with a hint of amusement in his tone, "You two should just discuss and decide on this matter."

"Thank you, Dad!" Liang Shiyu said excitedly.

Xie Suian, noticing this, continued, "But there is one thing I want you to be clear about—Yihang must absolutely not be exposed in the media."

Liang Shiyu’s expression stiffened slightly. Although she no longer entertained the idea of taking Yihang to parent-child TV shows, she still thought about using Yihang to gain some attention.

She had been out of the industry for several years, and since the entertainment industry changes so quickly, she couldn’t immediately return to her peak.

Thus, she needed to find a way to boost her popularity.

"Not at all," Xie Suian said again, his tone serious.

Liang Shiyu could only nod in agreement, "I understand, I won’t let Yihang be exposed."

"That’s fine."

Soon it was time for dinner, and everyone went to the dining room together. The conversation at the table was only about pleasant topics; overall, there were no unpleasant issues today.

On the way back, Tuantuan asked Xie Yanchuan, "Daddy, when can I go to kindergarten?"

Xie Yanchuan was somewhat surprised, "Tuantuan wants to go to kindergarten?"

Counting the months, Tuantuan was only two years and eight months old and, because of his quiet nature, Xu Jinzhi and Xie Yanchuan hadn’t planned on enrolling him in kindergarten so early.

Tuantuan didn’t express a desire to go nor a reluctance; he simply said, "Brother said that all kids have to go to kindergarten."

He is also a kid, so why wouldn’t mom and dad let him go to kindergarten?

Xie Yanchuan then patiently explained to Tuantuan, "It’s true that you will go, but we can wait another year before Tuantuan starts kindergarten."

"Of course, if Tuantuan wants to go to kindergarten this year, Tuantuan can go," Xu Jinzhi added from the side.

Regarding which kindergarten Tuantuan would attend, she had already discussed this with Xie Yanchuan—it would be the same one as in his past life.

Originally, they just had to wait until next year to start; but if they wanted to start this year, it was feasible, since it was a private kindergarten after all.

Tuantuan shook his head, "I don’t want to play with the other kids."

Xu Jinzhi and Xie Yanchuan exchanged glances, somewhat at a loss; they thought Tuantuan asked because he wanted to go, but now it seemed he didn’t want to.

Perhaps he asked them because he was worried about what Xie Yihang had said about all kids needing to go to kindergarten.

Now that he knew he could wait another year, he didn’t care anymore.

Xu Jinzhi couldn’t help asking, "Kindergarten is a lot of fun, don’t you want to go?"

Tuantuan shook his head again, "I don’t want to, the kids are too noisy and they cry; it’s annoying."

Hearing this, Xu Jinzhi was momentarily at a loss for a suitable response, so Xie Yanchuan quickly took over the conversation.

"Usually, only kids who have just started kindergarten cry. They cry because they aren’t used to being away from mom and dad, but they’ll get used to it after a while."

Tuantuan was initially startled, then said very seriously, "I would cry if I were away from mom and dad too, and I would keep crying."

Xu Jinzhi hurriedly recalled her memories; had Tuantuan cried when he started kindergarten in his past life?

She didn’t seem to remember that happening.

Xie Yanchuan further explained, "But then, when you get back home after school, you could see mom and dad again, just like when mom and dad go to work, and Tuantuan is at home by himself, right?"

Tuantuan slightly furrowed his brow, but in the end, he shook his head again, "I still don’t like it; I’ll just stay at home and wait for mom and dad to come back."

After saying this, Tuantuan, looking somewhat tired, blinked his sleepy eyes, making a drowsy expression, and reached out his hand toward Xie Yanchuan, saying in a babyish tone, "I want Daddy."

Xie Yanchuan knew Tuantuan was tired from playing and was probably sleepy now, so he reached out to hold Tuantuan.
