Chapter 1247: If I’m single, everyone’s single!

Two years after Hera’s and Dom’s wedding...

Tiger, Gray, Axel, Fig, and Moose were idling in the family room. None of them were talking with Tiger even lying on the couch with his legs over the backrest. Moose, on the other hand, was just yawning while Axel was almost melting on the playpen.

Aside from their lazy countenance, all of them had shared one thing in common.

They were all busy with their phones.

Today was Hera and Dominic’s wedding anniversary, and they came to celebrate. But since they didn’t want to disturb Hera, they crash into Tiger’s matrimonial home. Well, Tiger and Ivy decided to live close to Hera and Dom since it was much better and peaceful.

They decided to open up a small coffee shop, but with the triplets, Tiger and Ivy could barely do anything. So, in a way, living close to Hera was better, since she could babysit or help Ivy with the triplets.

Fig, who was munching his chips, glanced at everyone. He opened his mouth, but he then shut them again. They all look so bored, or perhaps just exhausted. He understood why Tiger was tired because his kids just turned one year old.

But he didn’t understand why Axel, Moose, and Gray looked so tired.

"Did you three spend the night playing poker?" Fig finally asked, earning their attention. "You look tired."

Upon the mention of last night, Gray, Moose, and Axel’s face turned ugly.

’Did they lose?’ Fig wondered, but then Tiger answered.

"They attended speed dating last night with Alexander and Princess."

Fig’s lips formed an o-shape. "Oh..."

"As you can see, it didn’t end well." Tiger snapped the bitter singles a look and sneered. "God. I pity these fools."

Axel glared at him in dismay. "I pity Ivy for being blind!"

"She’s not just blind, she’s mute and deaf as well," Gray added languidly as he couldn’t accept that Tiger married such a gorgeous lady while they had to go through multiple speed dating in one night.

"And has a brain defect," Moose snorted as if the person they were talking about wasn’t Tiger’s wife.

Tiger frowned deeply. "You guys want to fight? That’s my wife you’re talking about."

"And that’s a fact we’re talking about," Axel harrumphed.

If these were other people, Tiger would’ve tied the three of them with their own limbs. However, seeing their faces, he could only feel sorry for them.

"Fuck!" Gray whimpered as he clasped his head in distress. "It’s that Alexander and Princess’s fault!"

Axel and Moose also scrunched up their nose in bitterness.

"That Princess... she should be called a prince!" Axel also meltdown.

"Alex’s gay," Moose blurted out bitterly.

Just from this, Fig and Tiger understood what went down last night. This wasn’t the first time these three went on speed dating or blind dates. Their blind dates always end horribly and no one was always interested in them in speed dating.

Well, Axel got some attention in some of the speed dating, but all of them weren’t his type.

Even when these men would go to nightclubs to hunt, they always screwed things up and ends up drinking too much. Despite that, one couldn’t deny they had been more determined to find love and a partner after Tiger’s wedding.

"It’s okay," Fig comforted. "Better luck next time."

The three frowned deeply and quietly lamented, shifting their attention to their phone to forget.

"What a bunch of sorry assess." Tiger shook his head and when he was about to shift his attention, he saw three little cute bundles of joys crawling in the family room.

Out of habit, Tiger picked up the children’s book on his stomach and held it up to cover his phone. And just like him, Gray, Moose, and Axel swiftly held the children’s books to appear like they were reading, when in fact, they were still using their phones.

Fig smiled at how efficient they were. ’I guess despite the disbandment, they’re still training.’ He nodded in satisfaction before his eyes fell on the three bald heads crawling into the middle of the room.

The three chubby triplets looked up at the adults in the room, only to see all of them reading. Hence, one of them reached for the children’s book nearest their reach to copy their good uncles.

"Sun, Star, Moon!" Just then, Ivy ran back to the family room and saw that her triplets were tearing some of the children’s books while their father and uncles were quietly "reading" the books.

’Oh, wow.’ Ivy rocked her head, even though she knew all of them weren’t reading and were simply hiding their phones.

"Ivy, don’t worry about them," Fig remarked, making her shift her eyes to where he was. "We’ll look after them for now. I mean, it’s almost Tiger’s turn."

"Well, I’m not really -- okay." Ivy smiled back. "Then come out if you want to talk to Hera. She just arrived."

"We know she’s here. That’s why we’re all here," they answered in unison, making Ivy under eye twitch.

She didn’t dwell on it, though, knowing they were just avoiding Hera’s mockery. She shrugged, but before she left, she whistled at her husband.

"No cursing," she warned.

"I don’t do that." Tiger shook his head. "But I’ll watch their mouths. Don’t worry. I’ll cut their tongues if they say bad words in front of my little cutie pies~"

Tiger slowly crawled from the couch to play with his cute triplets. His voice went from full to tiny, making his triplets giggle soothingly. His naturally droopy eyes softened as his entire face almost melted at his children’s laugh.

Surely, a child’s laughter was the best sound in the world.

Seeing this, Ivy let out a shallow breath and left.

Meanwhile, in Hera and Dominic’s garden, Joker laughed out loud and everyone could hear it from a mile away. His laughter even interrupted some of the workers who were preparing for Hera’s and Dominic’s wedding anniversary dinner.

"Waahahah! Serve them all right! How dare they think they can date before me!?" Joker evilly remarked before he laughed once again. "If I’m single, everyone’s single!"
