Chapter 554 - 554 Invincible: The Omni-Man Rest, The Anissa Dominant Instinct, An Unforgettable Gift for Dupli-Kate and The Inevitable Conflict with Invincible.
(Walker Manor)
A glass coffin stood in the middle of Allen's living room.
Allen remained silent; it was inevitable that not all the changes his presence would cause would be good. Thanks to Allen, many people were still alive, especially civilians who did not die in such a brutal world like Invincible's.
But Nolan is the representation that not everything got better. This man also died in the main timeline, yet it was in a different context, more in the future. He even became King of Viltrum for a short time.
Nolan had not reconciled with his family, nor could he support Invincible and Oliver in the uncertain future.
"..."
A spatial hole appeared beneath the coffin, and it vanished.
Allen walked through the room in silence. There was no one to interrupt him, as his eyes were calm. He had already assumed that this might happen; after all, he's not a god, and he can't control everything that happens, including the actions of others.
"Even if my influence caused Nolan to end up in front of Thragg when it shouldn't have, he decided to face him... am I right, or am I just a bastard washing my hands?" Allen smiled. "I never expected to make all the right decisions, it's impossible to do so, so I just have to accept this outcome..."
...
Allen reached his bed. It was early, but Anissa was asleep there. After the incident with the Space Racer from another universe, Allen reflected, and while he couldn't say that he had fallen head over heels for Anissa, he admitted that at some point, she had become an irreplaceable part of his life.
Allen stroked Anissa's cheek; feeling his touch, she opened her eyes.
Anissa immediately grabbed Allen's hand and pinned him to the bed, sitting on top of him with a seductive smile. But she quickly realized something was wrong. Anissa was strong; she was the strongest Viltrumite woman, and yet she couldn't do this to Allen, even if she caught him off guard.
"...?!" Allen also opened his eyes and remembered that he had kept his power hidden, relying only on the strength of the Leveling System. It's not that Allen is foolish; he knew that doing this would make him vulnerable. However, if there was real danger, he would have the protection of the dolls, with half of them always on alert. Obviously, these girls weren't going to intervene for an "attack" from Anissa.
"How is this possible?" Anissa said, incredulously.
"Well, let's just say I'm trained and currently weaker."
Anissa shuddered when she heard that, then her breathing quickened, and her eyes turned dangerous. In a Viltrumite relationship, "Domination" is an essential part. It could be seen as a form of wild and barbaric conquest, but it was the only way they knew.
Anissa gasped, even though she knew defeating him was impossible; her instincts flared up as if she saw the opportunity she had been waiting for.
"Ahn... I don't think I can contain me~"
From Anissa's point of view, being the weaker part of the relationship, she couldn't take the initiative to start an intimate relationship with Allen. But now her body, her subconscious, felt that she could try, and she soon gave in to that instinct.
"Do you want to eat me so badly?" Allen smiled with a rebellious look that encouraged Anissa even more.
"❤️!!~" Anissa grabbed Allen's shirt and ripped it open, revealing his sculpted body. This took him by surprise before he laughed.
"Aren't you being a little hasty?" Allen mocked.
"I... I'm sorry❤️..."
Anissa licked her lips; she had promised to leave behind the Viltrumite traditions that were too wild, but unexpectedly, she couldn't control herself. She began kissing Allen's neck before biting it a little. Seeing her teeth mark his skin, which once seemed indestructible, Anissa stopped thinking.
Allen almost heard the teeth of Albedo and Esdeath watching this. Meanwhile, Makima, Wednesday, Rebecca, and Kurumi frowned in disgust as they watched Allen let himself be dominated.
Of course, Allen's gaze remained calm and amused by the situation. Watching him allow a girl to take control of him was so surreal that seeing it happen made even Allen himself incredulous.
'It's fun, but if I let this go on, I'll lose my dignity as Harem King.' Allen took Anissa's face in his hands. She began to lick his thumb with desire. Viltrumites aren't human. Whether in ethics or morality, they are raised differently from humans. Before the Scourge Virus almost wiped them out, their society was ruled by power. So when looking for a mate, they sought someone strong enough to give birth to a new generation of powerful beings. Often, it involved a fight where the winner decided whether their opponent was worthy of being a mate to breed children.
The Overwhelming power was the main reason Anissa became obsessed with Allen, but it was not the reason she now loves him. Over time, something else had developed. Anissa no longer only sought reproduction but truly desired to spend her life by Allen's side. But despite everything, deep down, Anissa still had those instincts that made everyone hate her in the original timeline. Allen smiled, then his eyes glowed for a moment, and in Anissa's stunned gaze, they changed positions, with her now beneath him.
"Seems like you got carried away...Anissa, I'm not someone who allows himself to be dominated" freeweɓnøvel.com
Allen, with his shirt open and Anissa's kiss marks on his neck and chest, looked at her. Anissa, who had been held down and could no longer move, regained her composure, blushing. She opened her mouth but didn't know what to say. Losing control like this was something she had never experienced before.
"I'm sorry I think I missed something important with you..." Allen apologized out of nowhere.
"No! It's my fault!" Anissa panicked, trying to justify herself. She had decided to leave behind all her Viltrumite nature, so there was nothing for Allen to apologize for.
"No... I made a mistake... I shouldn't have forced you to suppress your Viltrumite nature... instead, I should've accepted it, helped you control it, and maybe, over time, you'd change... until then..."
Anissa's clothes suddenly tore to pieces. She stopped breathing and thinking as Allen's figure became imposing, and his eyes made it impossible for her to disobey.
"..."
"...!"
There were no more words. However, Anissa swallowed, understanding the request, not the command. "Surrender to me." To the Viltrumite, these words were more meaningful than "I love you."
Allen lowered his body onto hers, and without hesitation, Anissa accepted. It marked the beginning of many nights where she would come to understand the addictive charm of what love truly meant for a human.
"Ahhhn❤️~"
...
...
A few days later, Allen accompanied Kate to train at the Guardians' headquarters.
Kate attacked Allen with a group of ten clones. It wasn't as easy as fighting ten people because, due to the mental synchronization with each clone, the attacks became extremely difficult because of their coordination and teamwork. Kate's greatest weakness was pain; every time one of her clones was hurt or killed, she had to endure the experience, which slowly wore down her thinking and coordination. However, with the pendants, this weakness disappeared.
Allen stepped back, dodging Kate's punch. Almost instantly, two kicks came from both sides. Allen raised his arms and stopped the attacks on both sides.
"Nice attack, but it lacks power, Kate!" Allen pushed a little and both clones went flying.
"Ah!"
Regrettably, Kate's strength was in the human range.
[Physical Level: 42]
Allen had defeated some minor villains and raised his level. It was really fun, to be honest. He would have preferred if his system had been like this from the start. Although the power-for-entertainment mode is more suited to him.
One detail is that Allen had asked the system to hide the true level so he wouldn't have to see a bunch of question marks every time.
"Is that all you've got, Kate?"
Allen mocked, and Kate pressed her lips together. One of her clones grabbed another and threw it at Allen. With her strength mixed in, she clenched her fist to land a punch. If Kate didn't have the pendant, hitting something or someone like that would break her wrist. But thanks to the pendant, she could afford to be more aggressive in trying crazy things.
Allen smiled, then slid his foot along the floor, giving a small stomp that created a golden ring beneath his feet. Allen received Kate's punch with his palm, stopping all the synthetic energy. It stopped, Kate lost her balance and Allen caught her in his arms.
[Chi Level: 12]
Kate's clones stopped their attack, and all of them seemed annoyed.
"Allen, didn't you say you were weaker?"
"Haha, I said I had been holding back most of my power."
Kate wrapped her arms around Allen. "Isn't it the same thing?~"
Allen leaned in close. "How many times do I have to tell you that having power doesn't make you strong, and lacking it doesn't make you weak..."
Kate smiled seductively. "So you're still strong now? I want you to prove it to me. I'm sure the current "you" wouldn't be able to handle five of me❤️~..."
"Oh..." Allen squinted his eyes and took Kate to a private room to defend his honor.
...
Several hours later, the only remaining Kate was on top of Allen, her face sweaty, unable to believe what had just happened. However, Allen wasn't flawless either; he lacked some air, showing he didn't have infinite stamina.
[When I thought about the Leveling System, I didn't think you'd use it this way...]
'Sister you made me see that having an inexhaustible body is not all good.' Allen chuckled quietly, but this made Kate angry, thinking he was mocking her.
Allen's body, being the way it was, sometimes caused insecurity to his girlfriends; they wondered if he was really satisfied or just pretending.
[Sure...]
"What are you laughing at?" Kate said, pouting. "Hmph I should have used ten..."
"..." Allen used his hand to give her a playful slap on the rear.
"Ah~"
This took her by surprise and embarrassed her.
"Kate, you share so much with your clones, so when one of you 'falls,' the rest falls too, so it's not surprising that this was the result."
Kate blushed, knowing this was true.
"That..." Kate, with a red face, buried her face in Allen's chest.
"Kate, I didn't just come here to train you; I wanted to give you a surprise."
As Allen said that, his gaze softened, and Kate looked up at him, confused. But he smiled mysteriously.
...
Allen drove a car away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Kate wore a blouse and jeans, tied her now long hair into a ponytail, and followed Allen on this adventure.
On the way, Kate wanted to ask where they were going, but Allen just smiled. This made Kate suspicious, but at the same time, she had absolute trust in Allen, so she just smiled and continued to follow him.
Kate watched as the landscape changed, making her feel strangely relaxed. Allen, for his part, also felt at ease; he was used to traveling by teleportation or simply flew to where he wanted to go. So this way of traveling was a refreshing change.
After a couple of hours on the road, Allen entered a small town, which made Kate raise an eyebrow. It was a small town, but it had everything one could need: a school, a clinic, a supermarket, and a couple of stores. Allen didn't stop in the cozy town but veered off towards a house with a garden.
Kate remained silent, but she felt a strange sensation in her heart.
Allen turned off the vehicle and looked at Kate, "It was a bit complicated. After all, your family has suffered the curse for many generations, and the damage is done. I had to repair his mind and get rid of the curse... luckily, it was me."
"W-what do y-you mean?" Kate's voice trembled as she looked at Allen. He took her hand to calm her.
"It took me a while, and I didn't want to give you false hope, so I kept silent." Allen got out of the vehicle, and Kate followed him, stunned.
The door to the house opened, and a man appeared. The man had his hair slicked back, with graying sides, reflecting his age and stress. His eyes had a tired but calm look. He wore a dark green shirt and dark cinnamon-colored shorts.
Kate froze until Allen gave her a gentle tap on her back, and she reacted.
"Dad!" Kate ran to her father, tears in her eyes.
"Kate?!"
The man was surprised but immediately smiled and embraced his daughter after many years of not seeing her.
The origin of Kate's powers came from an ancient curse, where an Emperor cursed the Cha family, so every seventh generation, their family would grow so large that it would drive them to madness. This happened with Kate's father.
Allen had researched before healing him, and the man turned out to be kind and understanding, someone who could have been a good father had he not fallen into madness. After a moment, Allen approached the father and daughter, and the three of them entered the house. Tsing Cha couldn't ask for a better son-in-law for his daughter, so he began teasing them about giving him grandchildren soon. This made Kate feel embarrassed by her father for the first time.
Allen smiled while thinking about how Kate would react when she saw her "reformed" brother.
One thing was for sure Allen had already won over the Cha family.
...
(A time later)
Invincible sighed as he cracked his neck after getting out of bed. It had been a tough month; Oliver was still disobedient, though not as much since he met Allen, and he felt fear and vulnerability for the first time.
Invincible turned toward the door, where Oliver was peeking.
"What's up?"
"Brother... it's been a month."
Invincible's face froze, but it soon softened, returning to calm. It had been a difficult month, mainly due to the preparations he had made for this day. Allen had told him he had a month to either train or educate Oliver.
Mark got up and had breakfast as usual, his mother, Debbie Grayson, watched him in silence. She wanted to stop him, to find a peaceful solution, knowing that, unlike Allen's public image, he was quite reasonable if one tried to talk to him without antagonizing him.
"Mom..."
Mark called his mother calmly while Oliver watched silently. It might seem crazy, and it was, it might seem like Mark was hallucinating if he expected to defeat Allen, but in his eyes, there was no doubt about what he had to do.
"Yes... be careful, son." Debbie's gaze turned to Oliver. "You too, Oliver."
"I know..."
Both sons walked out the door while Debbie leaned against the wall before collapsing. She cried for a moment before wiping her tears and taking out her phone. Even if she could understand the situation, even if she could accept her son's decision.
"Hello?"
A familiar voice answered Debbie on the other end, calm as though expecting the call.
...
(Walker Mansion)
Allen did his best to separate his prejudice against Oliver because the only Oliver he knew from the comic books was even different from the one in the series. He was hateful, spoiled, apathetic, arrogant... but the most dangerous trait was his lack of attachment to this world. It made sense; Oliver wasn't half-human like Mark, and human society wasn't very welcoming for a Thraxan/Viltrumite.
Just as Allen had seen in the Multiverse, it was easy for an Invincible to turn evil. What were the chances Oliver wouldn't be the same?
...
Invincible soared through the skies, leaving Chicago and heading toward a forested region with Oliver. They had a quiet journey until they reached a clearing where they landed.
Invincible looked seriously ahead, where Allen was waiting in silence, but with a half-smile.
"Mark... you came..."
"Of course... I wouldn't let you go to my house..."
The tension rose, as a battle to the death could erupt at any moment. Allen knew that, unlike the last time, if he tried to kill Invincible, the world's will wouldn't stand by idly. On the other hand, he didn't know if this could end peacefully since Allen wouldn't back down. Not this time. He wouldn't be manipulated by the protagonist and his sense of heroism.
"Oliver... no, Kid Omni-Man... depending on what happens today, this will be the last day you're on Earth."
"I won't let you!" Mark immediately stood in front of Oliver, ready to face Allen.
Allen smiled disdainfully. "That is if you have what it takes to stop me..."
===
A/N: It really was inevitable to have a conflict with Invincible, especially since his mentality and Allen's clashed.
