Chapter 93 - 93

With a "bang," two large holes formed in Golden Moment Square.

Kevin and Kiana climbed out of the pits, trembling as they emerged from it.

The more fun they had flying in the sky just now, the harder they had fallen.

Kiana held her waist.

"Ouch, that hurt!"

Kevin dusted off his clothes.

"Is entering a dream in Penacony always this hardcore? We just dropped straight from the sky."

At that moment, a familiar voice called out to them.

"Kevin, Kiana—it's you two."

Kevin and Kiana looked up, surprised at who they saw.

"Mockingbird!"

Robin smiled.

"Welcome to the land of dreams. How do you feel?"

Kiana groaned.

"Sore all over."

Robin chuckled.

"Is that so? Let me help tune your instruments. This will help you adjust to dreaming more quickly."

Robin closed her eyes slightly, and a faint power enveloped them.

After a few moments, Kevin and Kiana were astonished to find all their aches and discomfort gone. Instead, they felt light and energized.

Kiana stretched her arms.

"Whoa! Robin, you're amazing! How did you do that? I feel totally fine now!"

Robin chuckled.

"This is the power of Harmony. It aligns your state, helping you adjust to dream activities faster."

Kevin nodded.

"I see. So, where's your brother? Isn't he with you?"

Robin shook her head.

"He said a distinguished guest has arrived, and he needed to greet them.

Well, I have something else to do. You two should explore Golden Moment—there are many interesting things here."

Kevin and Kiana bid farewell to Robin.

Kevin took out his phone and contacted Himeko, Welt, and March 7th.

After chatting, Kevin and Kiana decided to visit a place March 7th had recommended—the Dream Vending Machine.

Meanwhile, Sunday stood in his office, his face clouded with concern.

A purple crow perched on a bookshelf nearby.

The crow spoke.

"Three Xianzhou generals have arrived. We must delay our plan; otherwise..."

The crow was none other than the Dream Master, "Gopher Tree."

Sunday shook his head.

"We can't afford to delay. The Company, Yiting, the Tavern, and the Star Core Hunters are all on the move. They won't give us that much time.

The longer we stall, the more risks we face."

The Dream Master fell silent for a moment.

"Make sure you know what you're doing. Failure is not an option. If we fail, you and I are doomed."

Sunday met the Dream Master's gaze.

"Of course, I know that. Only this way can our dream be the most beautiful."

The Dream Master gave a small nod.

"Good. Also, make sure Robin is prepared."

Sunday hesitated for a moment.

"Understood."

The crow vanished, leaving Sunday alone in deep thought.

At the hotel lobby, Zhongli, Venti, and their group had searched every treasure chest from the platform to the lobby. However, they ran into a problem—they couldn't enter Penacony's interior because they didn't have a room.

Even if they had credit points, it was useless. Penacony's rooms had been fully booked for the Harmony Festival.

Zhongli found himself at an impasse.

Hu Tao smirked.

"Aiya~ When things get tough, you need someone reliable!"

Keqing glanced at her.

"Hu Tao, what do you have in mind?"

Hu Tao pulled out her phone and called Silver Wolf.

"Hello? Silver Wolf, got any ways to sneak into Penacony's dream?

I knew you would!

What? The only way is to smuggle ourselves in? Sounds fun—as long as we don't get caught.

2,000 star coins? Sure, I'll transfer it to you later."

Hu Tao hung up and slipped her phone back into her bag.

"Settled. For 2,000 star coins, Silver Wolf will sneak us in. But we have to be careful once we're inside."

Zhongli shrugged.

"That's fine. As long as we get in."

Getting caught? At worst, they'd have to pay a fine and be kicked out. As long as they secured Stellar Jades, it was worth it.

Ten minutes later, Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Blade sauntered into the hotel lobby.

Silver Wolf walked up to Hu Tao.

"Hu Tao, I'm here. Who's coming in?"

Hu Tao was curious.

"Aren't you a wanted criminal? Walking around so openly—won't you get caught?"

Silver Wolf waved her hand nonchalantly.

"Not a problem."

She pointed to a badge on her collar.

"This little gadget? It's called the 'Identity Change Badge.' It alters how outsiders see us. Yuri sells them."

Hu Tao's interest was piqued.

"How much? If I had one, sneaking in would be a breeze!"

Silver Wolf held up three fingers.

"3,000 star coins each. Works only on ordinary people."

Hu Tao immediately dismissed the idea.

3,000 star coins? Not worth it. She had the money, but spending that much for something with limited use felt like a waste.

"Forget it, I'll just sneak in the old-fashioned way."

Silver Wolf shrugged.

"Suit yourself. Come on, let's go."

She led Liyue's group to a secluded spot.

Summoning her etheric keyboard, Silver Wolf worked her magic. A portal appeared before them.

"Alright, this door leads into the dream. Once inside, Blade will guard our bodies and wake us up if needed."

Zhongli handed over 2,000 star coins. Silver Wolf pocketed them happily.

Perfect~ Another 2,000 in the bag.

Just as they were about to step in, Venti arrived with a group from Mondstadt.

"Wait, We're here!"

Venti landed smoothly and turned to Silver Wolf.

She smirked.

"Oh? More star coins. Pay up—2,000 star coins."

Venti, ever the trickster, tried to negotiate.

"Oh my dear Silver Wolf, we're such good friends now. How about a little discount? Maybe even free?"

Silver Wolf shook her head.

"No~ No."

Venti's mind whirred, searching for an alternative.

"Alright, how about this—when you join the competition later, We'll help you with all our strength. Deal?"

Silver Wolf thought for a moment, then grinned.

"Alright fine! Go right on ahead!"

Venti turned to his companions.

Jean nodded.

"Thank you, Silver."

Everyone stepped into the dream.

A minute later, their bodies remained in place, falling into a deep slumber.

Blade activated Silver Wolf's space isolator, forming an invisible barrier around them, shielding them from the outside world.

Kevin and Kiana arrived at the Dream Vending Machine and experienced Akivili's memory.

It was said to be from Akivili, though whether it was real or not remained uncertain. Still, it felt authentic.

In the dream bubble, Akivili and another person were being scolded, and the one doing the scolding was Pom.

Kevin had personally witnessed Aha being scolded by Pom before, so he had no doubts about the authenticity of the memory.

After the experience, Kevin bought the dream bubble, planning to share it with March 7th and the others later.

With that done, the two decided to take a walk around.

As they strolled, they noticed a group of people surrounding a young girl not far away.

When the girl spotted Kevin, she rushed over as if she had found a savior.

"Can you help me?"

Kevin instinctively stepped in front of her, shielding her.

The leader of the pursuers shouted angrily.

"Step aside! The Family is capturing a wanted criminal—don't interfere! Otherwise, we'll arrest you too!"

Kiana scowled at the man's tone.

"Oh? You wanna fight? Bring it on!"

The Hound Family members didn't hesitate and immediately attacked.

Kiana wasn't one to back down. She charged forward with her dual pistols.

As a Valkyrie, her strength far surpassed these mere foot soldiers.

In no time, she had taken them all down.

One of the hounds glared at her venomously.

"Just you wait!"

With that, he pulled out his phone to call for reinforcements.

Just then, a melancholy-looking middle-aged man with an unshaven beard approached from the side.

"What's going on here?"

One of the hounds recognized him.

"Mr. Security Officer!"

It was Sheriff Gallagher.

Gallagher repeated his question.

"What's going on here?"

A hound reported.

"Sir, we found the stowaway and tried to arrest her, but she had accomplices."

Gallagher gave Kevin, Kiana, and the girl a long, assessing look before turning back to the hounds.

"I told you to catch the silver guy, not the silver-haired girl. Can't you tell the difference?"

The hounds opened their mouths to argue, but Gallagher cut them off.

"Alright, alright. Go look somewhere else. I'll handle this."

Left with no choice, the hounds left in disappointment.

Gallagher turned back to Kevin and Kiana.

"Apologies for that. These guys are new recruits. Please don't hold it against them."

Kevin shrugged.

"It's fine. If there's nothing else, we'll be on our way."

With that, Gallagher left.

The girl looked up at Kevin and Kiana.

"Thank you for helping me. My name is Liuying, a waitress of the Iris Family."

Kevin grinned, thumping his chest.

"It's my duty to protect a beautiful girl!"

Kiana nodded enthusiastically.

"That's right! It's our duty to protect beautiful girls!"

She struck a dramatic pose, pointing to the sky.

Liuying covered her mouth, giggling at their antics.

"By the way, what are your names?"

Kevin smirked.

"I am the world-renowned Galaxy Skyfire Man!"

Kiana, instead of finding the nickname embarrassing, actually thought it was cool.

"Oh wow! Kevin, where'd you come up with that?"

Kevin crossed his arms and closed his eyes.

"Made it up myself!"

Kiana clapped her hands.

"I see! Then I want a cool name too! I've thought about it, and I have it! I'll be called Kiana, the First Valkyrie of Destiny! Hehe~"

Liuying smiled, looking at Kevin with a hint of nostalgia. He was still as lively as ever.

"Nice to meet you both, Kevin, Kiana. As thanks, let me show you around. I'll be your guide."

Kevin blinked.

"Liuying, how'd you know it's our first time here?"

Liuying pointed to the ticket on Kevin's collar.

"That ticket marks you as a nameless guest."

Kevin suddenly realized that Liuying had recognized his train ticket.

Kiana tilted her head.

"I don't have a ticket. How'd you know I was from somewhere else?"

Liuying chuckled.

"Because you arrived with Kevin."

Kiana gasped.

"Oh, that makes sense!"

Liuying glanced toward the bustling streets.

"Come on, I'll show you around."

Kevin and Kiana followed her through the shopping center, each buying an oak roll cake to snack on as they walked.

Suddenly, Kiana froze, pointing excitedly ahead.

"Kevin! Look! A treasure chest!"

Kevin's eyes widened.

"Oh! Treasure chest! Let's go!"

The two sprinted toward it, opened it, and found five fresh Stellar Jades.

Kevin stored them in his ring.

Since Kiana didn't have any storage items, they had agreed earlier to split the Stellar Jades equally, with Kevin holding onto them for now.

Liuying watched them curiously.

"You two really like treasure chests, huh?"

Kevin and Kiana nodded enthusiastically.

"Of course! We came here specifically to open treasure chests and find Stellar Jades!"

Liuying smiled knowingly.

"Oh, I know where to find plenty of treasure chests. Want me to take you there?"

Kevin and Kiana's faces lit up with bright smiles.

"Really?! That's amazing! Thank you, Liuying!"

Liuying laughed.

"It's no trouble. Come on, follow me."

With her guidance, they found another treasure chest.

Just then, Liuying's phone buzzed. She checked the message—it was from Silver Wolf.

Silver Wolf: "Liuying, do you know where the treasure chests are in Penacony? Kafka and I are coming in. We need to collect Stellar Jades to buy things from Yuri."

Liuying glanced at the delighted Kevin and Kiana, then replied.

Liuying: "No idea. Look for them yourself."

She turned off her phone.

At that moment, Kevin and Kiana returned to her, beaming with excitement.

Liuying smiled.

"Come on, I'll take you to the next spot."

For the next hour, Liuying led them on a wild treasure hunt. By the end, they had collected over 2,000 Stellar Jades.

Kevin was ecstatic.

"Now I can open treasure chests on my own~"

Kiana was just as thrilled.

"Now I can buy tons of instant noodles~"

Meanwhile, Silver Wolf frowned at Liuying's curt reply, sighing as she shook her head.

Kafka, playing with five newly acquired Stellar Jades, noticed.

"What's wrong?"

Silver Wolf sighed.

"Someone completely forgot about us. Let's go find treasure chests on our own."

Kafka chuckled.

"Wasn't she always like this?"
