A group of Disciples stood below and paid their respects, with the Great Elder halting before an armchair, saying, "Your disciples have come to see you, old Sect Master."

The old Sect Master nodded and said to the Great Elder, "How has your Sect Master been of late?"

The Great Elder replied respectfully, "Thank you for your concern, old Sect Master. Our Sect Master has recently been in seclusion. If not for that, he surely would have come to meet you in person."

The old Sect Master said:

"Reaching higher levels within the Divinity Transformation Realm is as arduous as ascending to heaven. I too have attempted seclusion, but for thousands of years, I still haven't broken through to the latter stages of Divinity Transformation."

The Great Elder promptly said, "With your profound accumulation, old Sect Master, advancing to the latter stages of Divinity Transformation must surely be within your reach."

The old Sect Master burst into hearty laughter, saying, "There is no need to console me. The path of cultivation goes against the heavens. Why should I lose heart over temporary difficulties?"

After he spoke, his gaze finally fell upon the Wendaos Sect Disciples below.

These Inner Sect Disciples all stood tall and proud, doing their utmost to make sure the old Sect Master got a clear look at them.

What merit or virtue does Zhai Xingzi possess to warrant such inquiry from the old Sect Master?

"Zhai Xingzi is not yet an Inner Sect Disciple, hence he did not come along this time."

After the Great Elder explained, the old Sect Master then turned his attention to Tian Lin.

The old Sect Master continued, "Now that I have not broken through to the mid-stage of Divinity Transformation, these numerous redundant Dao Seeds have become useless."

"I have eight Dao Seeds here, which I shall give to you."

Once he finished speaking, he pointed towards eight people.

Holding the box, the Great Elder asked, "Zhai Xingzi cultivates the Way of Cause and Effect, what if he refuses to accept it?"

The old Sect Master laughed heartily, saying, "Tell him that the Dao Fruits I've given him are completely free from cause and effect, so he can consume them with ease."

Only then did the Great Elder securely hold the box and proceeded to thank the old Sect Master.

The old Sect Master and the Great Elder continued to talk for a while before dismissing everyone.

As the group from Wendaos Sect left the grand hall, disciples from other sects constantly observed them, trying to discern who had received Dao Fruits.

However, the expressions of Wendaos Sect's Inner Sect Disciples were so gloomy that outsiders could not tell who had benefited.
