I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 258 Make-up Classes
The second timeline, Federation Military Base.
The sound of military boots echoed through the prison corridors, making a heavy and regular ’tap tap’ sound.
At this moment, the federal prison had become a ghost city, with each cell void of prisoners and the iron doors ajar, creating an eerie atmosphere.
The bodies strewn across the hallway floor had been there for some time, judging by their rigidity. All were dressed in Federation uniforms, each face frozen in surprise and abrupt cessation, indicating how suddenly they had met their deaths.
Among these bodies stood a person in military boots.
He had no face; his features seemed to have been erased, with no eyebrows, no nose bridge, just two eye sockets and nostrils, and his lips stitched together. From the back, he looked like a normal person, but when he turned around, he resembled the protagonist of a Western horror film, striking terror into the viewer.
The no-face man walked past these bodies, making his way out of the prison to the square leading to the main gate.
The ground, baked by the Sun, was caked with blood that clung to it, making it look like red asphalt at a glance, emitting a rusty, pungent smell of blood.
There were even more bodies here than inside the prison, with signs of heavy weaponry having been employed.
Bodies were piled upon one another, forming little mounds across the vast square.
The no-face man looked around, kicked a corpse’s head with his military boot, and sighed. Inside a body that stood one meter eighty, he spoke in a surprisingly delicate female voice—
"Ah, I hate cheating like this the most."
...
The fourth timeline, Auslan Empire, Imperial Court.
Qiao Suisui had chatted with the children for a while and asked about their enlistment. She originally wanted to take on a parental role to comfort Harvis and the others about their reluctant departure from home, but instead, the children took turns comforting her.
"Mom, we’re leaving, you must eat on time and take good care of yourself, we’ll be back soon."
"Yeah, yeah, I’ll behave well and rush back as soon as the training is over, don’t be sad, mom."
"I and a few brothers will look after each other, mom, we’ll message you whenever we get a chance."
"Mom, I heard from father that you argued with him about us enlisting... ah, no, father didn’t ask me to tell you that, I wanted to say it myself."
"Mom, don’t worry! I’ll work hard and won’t let you down. I aim to outdo all my brothers! And I will tell everyone that we females are not weaker than males!"
Qiao Suisui, surrounded by the boys and girls, was both crying and laughing.
As time flew by unknowingly, it was Carl who, fearing she would tire herself out, urged the children to leave quickly, making sure they didn’t forget anything.
After everyone had left, the living room suddenly fell silent. Compared to the previous commotion, it felt quite empty, and Qiao Suisui suddenly felt a twinge of reluctance in her heart.
Carl walked over and sat beside her, resting his head on her small shoulder and tilting his head to look at her. "Are you sad?"
"A little bit, I guess. I always thought there would be time to spend with them, but now that I have time, I realize they have grown up. They don’t need me anymore; they need a wider world."
Carl’s arm encircled her waist from behind and pinched the soft flesh on her belly, tickling her into laughter.
"What are you doing... Stop it, Carl..."
The two of them squeezed onto a single sofa, playing and frolicking, until Qiao Suisui could take no more and feigned a stern face, commanding: "You, go sit over there, stop crowding me."
Shamelessly, Carl pressed up against her, scooped her up onto his lap, and said, "This way it’s not crowded at all, I sit on the sofa, and you sit on me."
Qiao Suisui, hearing the latter part of the sentence, blushed and in annoyance gave his shoulder a punch, which was more of a tickle. Realizing his wife might be a bit angry, he didn’t dare continue his roguish behavior, so he raised his hands in surrender and changed his tactic, using his mouth instead of his hands.
Carl leaned in to kiss her, and Qiao Suisui turned her face to the left, so he kissed her right cheek. When she turned her face to the right, he kissed her left cheek—always stealing kisses when she was caught off guard, apologizing with each kiss.
At first, the kisses were playful, but as time went on, they became lighter, slower, more lingering, and more entangled.
Without realizing it, Qiao Suisui placed her hands on the man’s broad shoulders. His solid muscles had tensed up at some point, and the temperature beneath his clothes had become quite hot.
As she was kissed, her body instinctively leaned back. Carl quickly supported her waist, drawing her closer into his embrace.
"I’ve missed you."
Carl looked up, gazing at her with focused and earnest intensity.
"So much."
"Incredibly much."
He still felt it wasn’t enough, so he added another, "Tremendously so."
Qiao Suisui chuckled, her dark eyes curving into crescents as she smiled. Her pupils shone like transparent onyx, glittering and bright.
Carl raised his hand to gently brush away the stray hairs at her brow, then slipped his large hand through her hair and leaned in to kiss her eye.
Her eyelashes trembled somewhat, the man’s kisses making her slightly dazed. Just as she was about to take a soft breath, her lips were claimed again the next second.
He was rarely so domineering, yet now he greedily drew every bit of air from her mouth, until she was almost breathless, and Carl finally eased back a bit. When he opened his eyes again, they were filled with a thick mist of desire.
But he didn’t proceed to the next step. Instead, he stared straight at Qiao Suisui and asked in a husky voice, "Do you miss me?"
Gasping slightly, Qiao Suisui touched her forehead to his and teased, "Don’t miss you."
The man became a bit anxious and drew her closer into his embrace, pressing tightly against her. He asked once more, "Do you miss me? If you do, you have to tell me."
Qiao Suisui held back her laughter, but the corners of her mouth struggled to contain it; joy spilled out from her eyes, yet her lips said, "I don’t miss you."
Carl bit his teeth in frustration.
In an instant, the world seemed to spin.
Qiao Suisui found herself in the man’s arms, laid out on a spacious couch, her black hair slightly tousled and spread out.
Carl pinned her beneath him, speaking fiercely, but his eyes were full of grievance. "What would happen if you just admitted you missed me!"
Qiao Suisui couldn’t hold back her laughter any longer, her delicate hands cradling the man’s face, her nose gently tapping against his.
"I miss you. Thunderously, invincibly, explosively miss you."
The next second, an intense masculine scent enveloped her.
Carl kissed her neck, collarbone, leaving ambiguous marks, constantly claiming her.
He knelt on the couch, his solid thighs stretching the fabric of his trousers taut; his knees pressed between her legs.
The temperature in the living room suddenly soared.
In a blissful haze, Qiao Suisui entwined with the man, repeatedly confessing she missed him—not ten times, not a hundred times, not a thousand times enough.
Only when her voice turned hoarse did Carl tenderly kiss her back and once again, swept her up in desire.
He wanted to be beyond redemption, to remain beyond redemption forever, never to recover.
