WHEN KI Gayoon arrived home that morning, Noh Yuno had already gone to his part-time job at the HoneyMoon Convenience Store.

It couldn’t be helped since he was at Beom-seok— the dungeon he owned— all night.

Grinding the stone golem monsters wasn’t as easy as he thought it would be, so he spent more Mana than expected.

I can use this as an excuse to get more Guiding from that little rusty shit.

"What did Noh Yuno have for breakfast?" Gayoon asked while taking off his jacket, and then he handed it to Baekho. "He ate before he left for work, right?"

Ahn Jae, the rookie that he asked to look after Noh Yuno, bowed his head. "Noh Yuno-ssi only asked for a sandwich "to go," Boss. He said he was late for work, so he left as soon as he got the sandwich."

The fuck?

"Does he think my house is a fast-food restaurant?" Gayoon clicked his tongue, annoyed. "That punk doesn’t take care of himself when no one is watching."

Moon Noa wasn’t a good guardian.

"No," Gayoon said, walking straight to the kitchen. "I’ll check what the chef is cooking for lunch first."

The pretty female Esper even winked at Yuno before leaving.

It’s really easy for most Espers to flirt, huh?

Yuno put up the ’closed’ sign when the clock hit 12 noon.

Their regular patrons knew that the store would close at 12 noon and would open at 2 PM.

We’re back to business as usual.

In just a week, the streets and the establishments destroyed by the recent Dungeon Break were already fixed— courtesy of Beom-seok Constructions.

Ki Gayoon and the government made a deal that the entire country knew about.

As far as I remember, Esper Ki Gayoon agreed to give the government a huge discount whenever the government needed the service of Beom-seok Constructions. In return, the government won’t force Esper Ki Gayoon to raid dungeons unless it’s a national emergency.

And that was how Ki Gayoon lost his spot as the #1 Esper to Ryu Sungbin.

That’s why people call Ahjuhyung as a business tycoon as an insult behind his back.

Anyway, Yuno didn’t care about Ki Gayoon’s business.

After making sure that the doors were closed, he went to the "ransack" the basket that contained the sandwiches, onigiris, and gimbaps that were about to expire.

Let’s have gimbap for today.

Yuno was about to unwrap the gimbap when the doors suddenly burst open.

"Put that down, punk."

How can this ahjussi open the door when it’s locked? I guess that’s an S-Class Esper with the Earth Manipulation ability for you.

"What is it, Ahjuhyung?" Yuno complained. "This is my lunch."

"That’s why I’m telling you to put that garbage down," Ki Gayoon said. "Follow me."

"Why?"

"I’m going to feed you, punk."

"Okay."

Yuno obediently put the gimbap on the basket, and then he followed Gayoon outside.

To be honest, he thought they would ride the car and go to a fancy restaurant.

But, to his surprise, they just went upstairs?

Oh, my house is already under construction.

But, despite that, the noise from the construction didn’t bother anyone. That was why Beom-seok Constructions were allowed to operate in broad daylight.

Thanks to the Items installed everywhere, the noise was kept down.

I’m not sure what kind of Items those things are since I’m not an Esper.

"Wow," Yuno said while looking around. "Why is the progress of my house slower than the other establishments that you fixed the past week, Ahjuhyung? I know that my house was completely wrecked, but I was so sure a house as small as mine would only take three days to be fixed by your company."

So far, only the foundation has been finished.

"Shut up," Ki Gayoon said, scolding him. "I just finished grinding the stone golem. Once we’re done making the cement, the construction of your house will be finished quickly."

"Oh? Did Sajangnim ask you to use prime materials for my house? I’m touched. I should be nicer to Sajangnim then."

Ki Gayoon glared at him. "Moon Noa doesn’t care about you as much as you believe. That sly fox only cares about Ryu Sungbin."

"Why are you getting angry, Ahjuhyung?"

"I was the one who decided to use prime materials for your tiny house, so you should be nicer to me."

Aigoo.

"How should I be nicer to Ahjuhyung then?"

"Appreciate the food I give you."

"I already do that, though?"

"No, you just eat to survive," Ki Gayoon said sternly while shaking his head. "From now on, I want you to savor every food you eat."

Yuno didn’t really understand, but he nodded anyway. "Okay, Ahjuhyung."

Yuno’s house, which was under construction, was dusty and, overall, not recommended for a "picnic."

But Ki Gayoon created a "miracle."

Thanks to the Esper’s ability, his (incomplete) house turned into what seemed like a fancy garden.

"Ahjuhyung, is this an illusion?"

"No," Ki Gayoon said, gesturing the entire the space under the barrier that he created. "You may think the semi-transparent barrier you see is just a shield. But this ability isn’t a defensive skill. This is called <House Sharing>."

"Beom-seok is the main "house," and as its owner, I’m allowed to "borrow" a part of my house and open it anywhere I want," Ki Gayoon explained. "So, right now, we’re actually inside a dungeon. To be precise, I borrowed the garden of my mansion there."

Okay, that scared Yuno a bit.

So, we’re in a dungeon.

"Be careful," Ki Gayoon said, pointing at the lines where the barrier was slightly faded. "If you step out of the barrier, you’ll end up in a different dungeon."

Yuno gulped, and then he nodded. "I’ll stick to Ahjuhyung then."

The grumpy old man clicked his tongue.

What now?

"Let’s eat," Ki Gayoon said, snapping his fingers. "Are you okay with seafood?"

"I can eat anything."

"I’ll make you stop saying that bullshit one day."

Yuno just shrugged, and then he watched in amazement when a table and two chairs came out of Ki Gayoon’s Inventory.

Why bring a table big enough for six people when it’s only the two of us here?

The grumpy old man then used his telekinesis power so that the table and the chairs would arrange themselves in the middle of the garden.

After that, the dishes that Ki Gayoon brought appeared one by one.

"I asked the chef to make dishes from different fish," Ki Gayoon said when he sat on the chair. "We have mild cod fish stew, soy marinated raw salmon, shrimp dumplings, salmon bulgogi, spicy braised monkfish, seafood scallion pancake, spicy grilled shrimp skewers, seafood soft tofu stew, spicy stir-fried squid, and seafood cheese tteokbokki. Of course, we also have plain rice and kimchi fried rice."

Ah.

So, that’s why Ahjuhyung brought a big table.

Yuno gulped nervously. "I can’t eat all of them, Ahjuhyung."

"Sit down first."

Yuno obliged while eyeing the dishes.
