Gayoon lit his cigarette. "Are you the only one who survived?"

"No, sir!" Baekho responded, standing straight. "Esper Lee Sarang’s people came and treated our men! Esper Lee Sarang’s medical team then sent our men to the hospital."

Gayoon puffed smoke out of his mouth. "Was Ryu Sungbin alone when he attacked you?"

"Yes, Boss. We tried to stop Esper Ryu Sungbin from entering the dungeon, but we failed. I’m sorry."

"It’s alright. We didn’t expect Ryu Sungbin to ambush me."

That was why Gayoon didn’t bring his elite team.

He only brought Baekho and a few rookies.

"Yes, and I don’t care," Gayoon said, cutting off the President rudely. "I already cleared the dungeon, so my job here is done."

The President smiled nervously. "About the dungeon rewards..."

"I took everything."

"What?"

"Why would I share the dungeon’s rewards with you when I cleared it alone?" Gayoon asked, smirking. "I’ll consider the dungeon rewards as compensation and hush-hush money for Ryu Sungbin’s attempt on my life."

President Cheol Kang’s face turned red from anger. "Esper Ki Gayoon!"

"WOW," Gayoon said while looking up at Noh Yuno’s house— at least, where it should have been. "It’s completely crushed."

The HoneyMoon Convenience Store remained intact, of course.

After all, my construction firm built that.

Out of all the establishments on that street, only the HoneyMoon Convenience Store remained standing after the recent Dungeon Break.

Even the road was full of cracks and craters.

It was obvious a battle had taken place there.

"Take a picture of this," Gayoon said to Baekho while walking towards the store. "Use the pictures as materials to promote Beom-seok Constructions."

Baekho nodded politely. "Yes, Boss."

The agents of the Awakened Police Department (APD) that was cleaning up the mess— aka the remaining carcasses of the monsters killed there— saluted at Gayoon as he walked past them to enter the HoneyMoon Convenience Store.

He was greeted by two familiar faces.

Lee Haerin, an A-Class Esper.

Yang Dal-sik, also an A-Class Esper who was already famous as a national pride even before he awakened.

As expected of Moon Noa— even his staff members are impressive.

"Where’s Noh Yuno?" Gayoon asked, his eyes focused on the secret door on the floor leading to the underground shelter. He would know since he was the one who built it. "Is he there?"

"Yes, Esper Ki," Lee Haerin said politely. "Our Yuno has fallen asleep in the shelter after cleaning up there."

Gayoon just nodded, and then he opened the secret door on the floor.

Lee Haerin and Yang Dal-sik didn’t stop him, and the two just continued checking the inventory to list the items that were stolen in the store during the pandemonium.

The two A-Class Espers’ voices only disappeared when the door closed.

After taking the stairs, Gayoon found himself in the clean and neat shelter that he was proud of.

This is my design, so of course, it’s nothing less than perfect.

Fortunately, he immediately found Noh Yuno sleeping in one of the fancy tents.

It looks like he wasn’t harmed.

Gayoon had probably stared at the punk for too long since he soon stirred to life.

"I just got out of the dungeon," Gayoon said, squatting down to meet Noh Yuno’s eye level. "Noh Yuno, move in with me."

He didn’t know why he said that out of the blue.

Gayoon actually surprised himself with that, but Noh Yuno looked more surprised, as expected.

No, actually, this punk looks disgusted by my suggestion.

That pissed Gayoon. "You—"

"Ahjuhyung, let me touch you first."

"What?"

"Your eyes are red," Noh Yuno said bluntly. "You need Guiding."

Ah.

Fighting Ryu Sungbin pushed him to his limits, after all.

So soothing that Gayoon actually fell asleep despite the uncomfortable position.
