IT HAD BEEN three days since Yuno last saw Ki Gayoon.

Ahjuhyung really entered a Special Grade dungeon that the government couldn’t touch before because of how dangerous it was. Will he be alright?

He wasn’t worried about Ki Gayoon, okay?

I’m just curious if Ahjuhyung is strong enough to solo a Special Grade dungeon.

Anyways, Yuno was more concerned about his boss.

It’s been more than a week since I’ve heard from Sajangnim. Is he okay? There isn’t any news about him, so I bet he’s just as busy as ever.

Yuno almost had a heart attack when he realized that a customer was standing in front of him.

I didn’t feel his presence.

The client in question was a young male Guide wearing the chic white uniform of the National Guide Bureau.

And he looks familiar.

"M-My name is Kim Jaeha," the customer said nervously. "Y-You may not remember, but I was with the Esper that you reported..."

Oh, right.

Yuno remembered what the police told him about the Guide that was with the Esper that he reported that night.

["Kim Jaeha, the young Guide you saw, was indeed a registered Guide. However, it seems like the kid’s uncle sold him off to his current guild. It’s practically human trafficking, so we reported it to the National Guide Bureau."]

"I remember you," Yuno said gently. "How have you been?"

Kim Jaeha’s face beamed. "I-I’ve been well! Thanks to Yuno-ssi’s help, my situation has improved. I-I’m here to express my gratitude." Then the kid gave him a deep bow. "Thank you so much for helping me back there, Yuno-ssi!"

Now I’m embarrassed.

"It’s alright, Jaeha-ssi," Yuno said, smiling awkwardly. "I’m just glad to be of help..."

He trailed off when the hair on the back of his neck suddenly stood up.

And then he looked outside the glass wall.

The streets were empty, except for the moving cars on the road, but he still felt like someone was watching him.

Wait, someone is watching him?

Yuno suddenly remembered the message that he received from a colleague a few days ago.

<Colleague #1: Dude, your stalker is back. Be careful!>

Could it be...?

"Yuno-ssi?"

Oh.

Kim Jaeha was now looking at Yuno with worried eyes. "Are you alright, sir?"

"Sorry, I spaced out," Yuno said, smiling. "But don’t worry— I’m fine."

YUNO wasn’t fine.

As soon as he stepped out of the HoneyMoon Convenience Store after his shift, someone suddenly grabbed him by the collar.

Fuck.

Who the hell was this now?

"Stay away from Kim Jaeha, you bastard."

Yuno knitted his eyebrows while looking at the person who grabbed him.

It was an Esper.

He’s attacking me while still in his uniform? How brazen. Wait, this handsome thug-looking Esper looks familiar.

And if the Esper mentioned Kim Jaeha, then...

"Ah, you’re that pervert," Yuno said, and he forgot to turn on his filter again. "The pervert who can’t even bring his Guide to a decent hotel..."

Oh.

Yuno, for the first time in a while, shut his mouth voluntarily when he finally recognized the Esper without his mask.

He felt so stupid that he only recognized the Esper now.

"Esper Matthew-ssi?" Yuno asked nervously. "The #3 strongest Esper in the country?"

And a natural S-Class Esper like Ki Gayoon, at that.

Have I fucked around too much with this unstoppable mouth of mine?

Matthew smirked bitterly. "I’m glad you finally realized who you’re messing with, you part-timer bastard."

Should I just apologize?

Yuno was about to open his mouth, but, all of a sudden...

BOOM!

A loud explosion from the sky shook the ground.

And when Yuno looked up, he saw a Gate hovering above the building...

... and then monsters crawled out of the dungeon, plummeting to his house, crushing it as a result.

"No!" Yuno cried while clutching his head tight. "My house!"

And, oh, a Dungeon Break had just occurred.

Dammit!
