THAT NIGHT, Ki Gayoon was really gentle with Yuno.

Ki Gayoon chuckled, and then he hugged Yuno tighter. "No one can hurt you now, Yuno-ya."

"Yeah, I won’t let anyone hurt you either, Hyung," Yuno said, patting Ki Gayoon’s back. "I’m also a man who wants to protect his lover."

"YUNO-YA, I kept thinking about what you said last night."

Hmm?

Yuno and Ki Gayoon were having breakfast in their room when his lover brought that up.

He was still sleepy, so he just let Ki Gayoon talk while he nodded, pretending that he was listening even though he wasn’t really doing that.

"To be honest, I don’t remember how exactly I was rescued from the rubbles. When I woke up, I was already in the hospital," Yuno said, trying to remember the things that happened that day. And he succeeded. "But I remember meeting an Esper back then."

"Yeah?"

"I didn’t see the Esper’s face because it was dark there, but I remember his glowing red eyes. If I wasn’t buried in rubbles, I would have reported him since it was obvious he was on the verge of a Rampage."

"Do you remember what the two of you talked about back then?"

"It’s already too late for that, Sarang-ah."

And that was when Lee Sarang realized that Ryu Sungbin wasn’t alone.
