Greatest Streamer System-Chapter 490 - – Once again, I Can Fly
A scan started. Max looked at his surroundings and spotted many dots, as much as the remaining player counts, in the city. It seemed like they gathered already and prepared to end the game soon.
— Newbie mistake lol
— They think by gathering in the middle they would get advantage. But now it become a pandemonium
— lololol Breeze, don't join in. Just kill them from the roof
— Yeah
— Let's hunt them
"That's my plan. Why do you think I created this barricade?" Max asked the chat as he looked around, "I don't plan to play with them. I will just wait here and ambush them."
Ratata! Ratata!
Ratatata!
The sound of the gunfight could be heard from outside and many of them came from different directions. There must be at least 5 players there, based on how loud the gunfire was.
Max moved closer to the window, his eyes locked at a building opposite to him. There were three people there, hiding from the enemy and exchanging shots. They were too focused on each other, and none of them looked around to see if there were other players coming for them.
— Someone is coming!
— Shit shit shit, Breeze run!
Closing his eyes, Max tried to hear any footsteps from outside the room he was in.
Soon, he heard it.
Thud, thud.
'On the left!'
Thud! Thud!

And a moment after, a player appeared from the hallway on the left, holding his rifle ready. The enemy player stopped in his tracks upon seeing the barricade that blocked him.
At that moment, Max jumped from the shadows and shot his gun.
Bam!
"?!"
The enemy player's body flew back with the power of the shot. A dead mark appeared on his head, indicating his death. He couldn't even react to Max's presence at all, dying immediately without knowing what was going on.
After seeing the mark, Max approached the corpse and began looting. He took everything the player had, including his weapon, which was an assault rifle and submachine gun, moving them to the room he barricaded before. Then, he moved to another spot in the middle of the room.
Other than the weapons, he managed to get 2 grenades and a smoke grenade, and 3 clips of 30 assault ammos, totaling 90, and 2 clips of 50 ammos for the SMG, totaling 100. It wasn't much, but it was more than enough for him.
'This is going to be a great addition to my arsenal.'
— Why are you taking the guns? You won't be able to use them
— It's useless
— Just use them for shields. You won't be able to kill the enemy with that
"No, no, my dear friends. This is going to be very useful." He replied to his chat. His face curled into a smile and he added, "You will see it soon. When the enemy shows up, I will show you why I gathered these weapons."
The sound of battle was becoming louder. It was so loud that it covered his movement, and it made it harder to hear footsteps.
Not only that, the next scan would start soon. Max deliberately went to the corner of the room before the scan so the other players couldn't see his location.
He checked his map to find his enemy.
'On the right. The two buildings.'
Two dots appeared in his vicinity. One was moving, and another was not.
'There are only two players left, excluding me. And they are in the same building. Huh, I won't be able to show why I gathered the weapons to my viewers then.'
He chuckled lightly and held up his sniper, putting the gun's barrel on the wall before aiming at the window. His leg rested on the ground and his hand was on his hip as he waited.
The battle would start soon, so it would be good if he was ready.
Soon, a sound of footsteps rang and two shadows came in from the building's entrance. The sound of two players running around in the building, trying to find their way up. One was chasing after the other, perfectly ignoring his presence.
Max's finger was on the trigger, waiting for the perfect timing. He looked through the scope and waited for the player to pass the place he aimed at.
"Come in my vision." He grinned.
Waiting was something he excelled at. There was a saying, that 'a good hunter always wait for his prey', and Max did exactly that. He was ready to hunt the prey that fell on his trap. And after a long minute, his prayer finally came.
Bam!
The bullet went straight into the enemy's face, hitting his helmet. Unfortunately, he didn't die in one shot and looked around, probably wondering who just shot him.
But it wasn't enough.
Max shot him once again without panicking. His finger pulled the trigger of the sniper, sending a bullet toward the same direction and hitting the enemy's chest.
"Bang."
He grinned and stood up after seeing the dead sign appear above his enemy after he collapsed.
"Okay. There is only one more." He said as he moved away from his position.
Snipers couldn't use the same position twice or he would get killed easily. The only reason why he shot twice from the same position earlier was because his enemy was a newbie.
— lolol he didn't hide and just look around
— Newbie lobby is so different. It's hilarious
— It's going to be the same as the last game lol
— Breeze definitely can win this easily
— POG! Headshot and bodyshot. 1 shot kill and a 2 shot kill!
Moving to the rooftop would be the best choice. His enemy would try to look for him and he could shoot them easily.
He went to the rooftop, but the moment he arrived there...
Ratatatata!
Ratatatat!
His heart nearly jumped out from his chest as he jumped behind the cover. The sound was so sudden that it caught him off guard. He activated his ability and dodged the bullets.
All he could do was to hide behind a wall that was slowly chipped away by the enemy's bullets. He didn't expect a newbie to guess his position.
'This guy is smarter than the others!'
The enemy predicted his movement and prepared to shoot him at a moment's notice. Now he was locked in his place. If he wanted to return, he had to run and risked himself being shot.
"Should I risk it all?"
His enemy might stop shooting if he moved and he would be able to return to his hiding place safely.
But there was no guarantee.
The enemy could've stopped shooting him to wait for the right moment. And the moment he tried to escape, he would be killed.
'I have to think this carefully.' He thought as he closed his eyes.
There were many ways to do this. He could risk it and go out there. He could use his ability to make his escape easier. But he could be wrong and it could be a waste if he died.
And then...
[BloodSucker has started a mission.]
[Stream Mission: Are you afraid to risk it? Hahahaha! You've become a chicken! Fly and kill him, Breeze!]
[Reward: 5,000 diamonds.]
— lolol BloodSucker and his gaslighting ability
— I don't know whether you will do it or not
— Are you going to do it, Breeze?
— It's a free diamonds if you can do it
"You know the answer."
Changing his sniper to the shotgun, Max took out a smoke grenade and threw it near his feet. The smoke quickly filled the place around him, hiding him from the enemy's sight.
After a few seconds, he jumped out of his cover and ran. He could see bullets shot his way and barely missed him, and he rolled away from the enemy's line of sight. After hiding himself behind the cover, he stood up with a smirk on his face.
"That's the mission I am looking for."
— You're going to take it?
— This is going to be exciting
— Let's go, Breeze!
Running at full speed, he went toward the edge of the roof and...
"I believe I can fly!"
... he jumped at full strength.
His body flew into the air and his feet landed on the wall. Using the wall as a support, he used it to propel his body forward. His hand grabbed on the railing on the building on his right, which was where his enemy was, and his legs landed perfectly.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"
The enemy cursed and tried to run away, but it was too late for him.
Max already pulled the trigger.
And the bullet tore apart the player's body, turning it into a piece of flesh as the death sign appeared on top of his body.
"Booyah!"
— Booyah!
— GG!
— Pogggg
— Hoyaaaa
Max cheered and raised his fist into the air, his face showing a wide smile. His viewers cheered and congratulated him. He watched his view count rise and laughed.
"Alright then. GG guys!"
Golden words appeared in front of his vision along with fireworks. The words said 'Winner!' before the world disappeared. Soon, everything turned black before the color returned.
He was now in the game lobby.
— Congrats
— GG
— Pog
— You're the winner, Breeze
— It's a good warm up for him. GG Breeze
