"Oh, Daddy..."

"Shush, woman!"

Gerald's friend group never covered someone else's mouth so fast in their lives, ever, until now. They all blanched in shame at the blatant shamelessness of their friend. Fortunately, she said it in a whisper. If she had actually said that out loud, they would've most likely been finding a hole to bury themselves in by now.

In hindsight, though, they truly couldn't blame her...

Cedric was quite literally perfect in anybody's eyes, even to someone who's never seen him or a human before. He's a walking artwork—a magnum opus given life. To the opposite sex, his charm was lethal. If he were to so much as glance at them for more than a second, they would be completely enamored with him. And if he really wanted to leave an impression, there's no stopping him, for his face will literally haunt them in both their dreams and every waking moment until they can no longer think of anything else aside from him.

Actually, they have to thank him for purposefully suppressing his charm because that's the only reason why they could still remain sane around him.

'They heard her.' Allura on the side laughed inwardly, 'They most certainly did; they just decided to ignore it instead to save them from the shame.' freёnovelkiss.com

And she was right. Be it Cedric or his sons, even without trying, they could hear everything happening within the continent. What's a few meters compared to that? So of course they heard her, but like Allura said, they decided to ignore it.

Cedric still has his arm out as if waiting for his sons to come running to him; it almost looks awkward at this point because his sons kept standing still, but that didn't last long.

Boom!

At the crowd's shock and terror, the Stormrider Brothers unleashed their auras. Their peak Grand Solar Sage realm of cultivation was on full display. Their might caused the very fabrics of space and time to shudder. The entire castle shook as if it were having a difficult time enduring their display of power.

Sigh!

Allura released a tired sigh. She strode forward, summoned her staff, and slammed it on the ground, erecting a barrier that isolated the frightened crowd from the horrifying aura the boys were releasing.

"W-what's happening?" one of Gerald's friends asked in a dumbfounded manner.

Allura pursed her lips; she was about to answer when all of a sudden, the boys began summoning their weapons.

Godwyn took out a bow that's almost as tall as he was. A staff made from wood covered with briars clutching a brilliant emerald orb at the top appeared in Gilderoy's hand. And a sword of unparalleled beauty and purity appeared in Gerald's hands.

"We missed you too, Dad." Godwyn replied with a feral grin on his face before shooting a blinding bolt towards his father.

His initiative was followed by his brothers. Gilderoy shot at least ten bolts of arcane missiles at once, and Gerald struck his sword forward, piercing his father from a distance.

"Aww, such a warm welcome, you're making me tear up." Cedric sniffed dramatically as he pointed a finger forward.

Then, under everybody's disbelief, time quite literally stopped. All of the projectiles coming his way stilled. Light bloomed, and then, all of a sudden, layers upon layers of space unfolded like a blooming flower.

They were forced to watch as a new pocket dimension appeared in a span of mere seconds, and it didn't end there; the environment inside this place was complete. All the necessary elements like land, air, water, climate, etc., were all there. Cedric quite literally made a new world just to set a playground for him and his sons, and he did while dramatically wiping the invisible tears he had on his face.

"Unbe-fucking-lievable!" The descendant of the Holy Spirit Race lost all semblance of verbal decorum after witnessing this casual miracle.

This man just created a whole ass world in a span of seconds, and it doesn't even look like he exerted any effort at all. One must know that even Cosmic Realm experts had to focus if they wanted to replicate what Cedric just did. It's impossible for them to do it as casually as he did. Cosmic Lords might be able to, but that doesn't make this any less shocking.

Time resumed as the 'playground' was created. The projectiles that had been frozen in stasis continued once more; the brothers also regained control over their bodies.

Their attacks 'landed,' but not Cedric. No, he didn't dodge, or at least, it didn't look like he did. He simply just folded space in an inexplicable manner that caused the attacks to land behind him as if they passed through him like he's a ghost or something.

"Such mastery over space laws!" The Holy Spirit descendant exclaimed. His gaze was hot as he stared intently at the scene before him, afraid of missing out on the action.

"But why are they fighting? I thought they were family?" Linus' innocent question sounded out.

Allura chuckled; she crouched down to his height and said, "They are family, yes. They don't hate each other or anything. In fact, there's no love greater than what their father has for this family."

"I suppose you can call this 'Father and Sons Bonding.' They're not attacking your Grandmaster out of hate; instead, they're deliberately showing him how strong they've become to make him proud and to express that they truly didn't slack off while he's away."

"B-but, what if they got hurt?"

"Then they get hurt." Allura replied straightforwardly. "That's normal in a sparring session, isn't it?"

"What if Grandmaster gets hurt?"

Allura laughed as if she heard the best joke ever.

"Oh, little one. Them hurting their father? They're a thousand years too early to do that. Okay, let's say that they could hurt him. Don't worry, your Grandmaster won't be mad at them. If anything, he'd probably be so proud that he'd fill an entire lake with his tears. And like I said, this is just a sparring session. It's not that serious."

'Not that serious,' she says. Gerald's friend group smiled wryly to themselves'.

Looking at the Stormrider Brothers glaring at their father with their versions of ferocity and killing intent, and the various ways they clearly wanted to tear a chunk of his flesh, draw his blood, break his bones, etc. Which angle of this scene exactly does she refer to as 'not that serious'?

But she was right too; the Stormrider Brothers couldn't hurt their father. It's not that they don't want to; it's just that they can't.

The brothers have attacked at least a hundred times in a span of minutes, yet not even a single one managed to touch the hem of their father's clothes.

And this is with the brothers working together too...

There's a tacit understanding between them. Godwyn and Gilderoy attacked from a distance. Godwyn was extremely accurate and lethal with that bow of his. His aim was impeccable; if it weren't for the strange space shenanigans his father does, every single arrow he shot so far could've turned Cedric into Swiss cheese by now.

Gilderoy displays phenomenal skill with magic, one that would make most of the Mystic Faes cry in awe and jealousy. The way at which he weaves spells was nigh-artistic. Even in the face of his father's enormous pressure, his casting speed and accuracy never failed. His sheer mastery over magic was unheard of; it is something that not even the Mystic Faes could easily replicate.

And then, there's Gerald...

The sword in his hand was unique. It's probably the most beautiful sword they've ever seen. It's like it's made from pure snow and moonlight. It has no blemishes, no chips, no damages, and no rusts. It's flawless, and not even his friend knew he had a sword like this.

But of course, beauty is just that. What is it worth if a sword can't kill? Fortunately, Gerald was a very skilled swordsman, and rightfully so since he learned from the best.

His friends had never seen him so serious and ferocious before. They have never seen him move this fast and lethally. Each strike he sent was filled with unparalleled coldness and sharpness. Distance seems to not matter with his sword because each strike he did reached his father, though it didn't hurt him at all.

"Hoho, how very energetic indeed! That's what I like to see. Come, show me more."

Cedric was having the time of his life. Despite the evident killing intent of his sons towards him, he truly doesn't mind. He'd rather see them being decisive like this rather than hesitating when it matters the most. Besides, they can't hurt him unless he allows himself to. This wasn't blind confidence, just a simple truth.

But of course, he can't just stand here and take it, otherwise this wouldn't be a fun game at all.

"Hmm, let's see how you handle this."

Cedric lifted a finger and produced an orb that quickly grew into a sun that hovered above him. Then, with a snap of his fingers, the sun released rays of light, which might as well be seen as heavenly judgment.

"Holy crap! He just made a sun! Is he really not trying to kill them!?"
