Eighteen's Bed-Chapter 23.6
Kang Suhyeon had to beg and beg while Go Yohan held her by the scruff of her neck.
Not that she had any clue why she even had to apologize.
She assumed that the only reason Go Yohan was mad was because he misunderstood something about me.
I had no idea what kind of experience she’d been through, but for her to be this terrified—to the point of groveling—it must have been bad.
“So-yeon… ah. We… ah… must have… really… misunderstood…”
Her thick, toad-like fingers tapped out a message on the tiny phone screen, barely the width of a palm. The way she kept glancing at Go Yohan for approval as she typed made her look pretty damn pitiful.
And when she finally sent the message and showed it to him with a groveling smile, it was such a pathetic sight that I almost couldn’t bear to look at it.
“Yohan’s friend, I have done my best to defend your friend’s honor.”
“Shut the fuck up until I finish reading.”
“Yes.”
She barely managed to suppress a panicked “Y-yes” and sat quietly.
Go Yohan, perched on the lecture hall desk with one leg crossed, scrolled through the messages with his usual blank expression.
Kang Suhyeon, despite sitting still, couldn’t keep her mouth shut. “Ah, wait, that’s private—” she started, but immediately went silent when she met his emotionless gaze.
After a moment of awkward tension, she timidly turned her neck and sent me a pathetic look.
“…You really didn’t have any feelings for Ga-hee?”
I didn’t.
I didn’t even get a chance to say it.
Go Yohan grabbed her head in one swift motion.
Her hair stuck out like weeds between his fingers, on the verge of being yanked straight out.
“Do you have a death wish?”
“Ack—! Ow, ow, ow! S-sorry! I’m sorry! I sincerely apologize!”
I sat in my chair, watching, and thought back to that time in the taxi.
What the hell is the difference between him drunk and him sober?
What the hell am I even supposed to do here?
Go Yohan kept scrolling, his eyebrows furrowing as he read through Kang Suhyeon and Park So-yeon’s conversation.
That was when I finally decided what I had to do.
“It’s fine. It was just a misunderstanding.”
At the very least, Kang Suhyeon was someone I’d have to put up with for a whole semester.
Our majors were different, so we probably wouldn’t see much of each other after that—but still, the world thrived on gossip.
Besides, it wasn’t in my nature to start unnecessary fights.
I forced a kind expression and gently placed my hand on both Go Yohan’s and Kang Suhyeon’s.
“I was a little upset, but you were drunk, so…”
There was no need to make enemies.
That had always been my motto.
“Jun-ah…!”
I had no idea if it was naivety or just sheer stupidity, but she believed me instantly and looked at me like I’d just saved her life.
I was only pretending to be nice out of self-interest, but even I found this ridiculous.
“I’m sorry for calling you a playboy… and a bastard… I was wrong!”
No, I’m the bastard. Me.
You misunderstood.
She banged her forehead against her palm in an oddly rhythmic pattern—though it lasted all of two beats before Go Yohan stopped her.
“If you keep hitting that empty skull of yours, your head’s gonna crack open before summer even gets here.”
“……”
She shrank back immediately.
I sighed and reached for Go Yohan’s wrist, tapping his arm twice with my index finger.
His hand trembled slightly.
Then, for the first time since he’d picked up the phone, he looked up at me.
“…Why?”
“That’s enough.”
As I spoke, I turned my head slightly, making sure Kang Suhyeon couldn’t see my lips move.
I have to do assignments and attend classes with this asshole for the rest of the semester. Cut it the fuck out.
Go Yohan blinked slowly.
Then, without a word, he let go of her hair.
As Kang Suhyeon frantically patted her head in relief, Go Yohan mouthed something back at me.
Fine. Next semester, then.
Next semester’s not my problem.
I nodded without hesitation.
Behind me, Kang Suhyeon was sniffling like a kid with a cold, but I didn’t give a damn.
“Thanks, Jun-ah.”
“Don’t mention it.”
I mean it.
Just shut the hell up.
He hadn’t gotten mad at me even once since we graduated high school.
But based on past experience, I knew there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about him.
Seriously, just shut the fuck up.
“Let’s not have any more misunderstandings like this.”
I patted her shoulder kindly.
Even though she had every right to feel wronged, Kang Suhyeon nodded furiously and wiped her nose with her sleeve. Then she shuffled around to find a chair and sat down.
“…By the way, did you know?”
Both Go Yohan and I turned toward her at the same time.
I was the first to speak.
“Know what?”
“You always tap twice with your fingers or a pen when you’re about to say something important.”
“Oh, Jun always does that.”
But the one who answered wasn’t me.
It was Go Yohan.
He had completely lost interest in his phone and was now staring down at Kang Suhyeon with an unsettling sharpness.
“I know. Even when Jun’s thinking, he’s always tapping something. It’s a habit.”
He said it fast, almost like he didn’t want her to have a chance to speak.
Strange.
He looked even more annoyed now than when I was being linked to Ga-hee.
“Don’t act all familiar with him like you know shit.”
“A-ah… of course. I-I don’t know anything….”
She pursed her lips like a duck and cast another pitiful glance at me.
I avoided her gaze.
Instead, I stared down at my own fingers, momentarily thrown off.
…Did I really have a habit like that?
I had never noticed.
And no one had ever pointed it out before.
“Yohan’s friend, if you’re done reading, can I have my phone back?”
“Wait. One more thing.”
Go Yohan’s response was crisp and immediate.
He picked up the phone, typed something in, and hit send.
Then he handed it back to Kang Suhyeon.
“All done.”
“Hehe… Then I’ll take it back. Thanks, Yohan’s friend.”
With a pathetic little laugh, she grabbed her phone and immediately checked the screen.
Her gaze flickered, her pupils shaking slightly.
Then she looked at me.
Like she’d just witnessed something tragic.
“…What? What is it?”
I frowned and asked.
But she only glanced at Go Yohan, then let out a quiet tsk before turning off her phone.
“…It’s private.”
“……”
Fucking hell.
So it’s okay for him, but not for me?
I should’ve just let her rot.
I clenched my jaw, forcing down my irritation.
It was becoming painfully obvious that I had a weak spot for illogical, emotionally unstable bastards.
****
As we left Kang Suhyeon behind, Go Yohan complained the whole way.
Even in the taxi, he puffed his cheeks and stared out the window. Honestly, it didn’t even show because his cheeks were so thin. But if I’m being honest, it wasn’t not cute. Despite how ridiculous his behavior was, I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. In fact, I had to try hard to hide my smile.
When we got out of the taxi and entered the elevator, Go Yohan, without saying a word, leaned against the wall, puffing his lips like a duck.
At that moment, I reached out first.
“Are you mad because of what Kang Suhyeon said?”
The voice that came out of me was so much kinder than I expected. I was in a surprisingly good mood today, though earlier I’d been terribly gloomy. My emotions were like a rollercoaster.
Go Yohan, who had been obviously sulking, kicked the floor with his toes.
“He’s so irritating.”
“What’s irritating? Just because of some rumors?”
“Rumors? Didn’t you notice?”
Oh, shit.
Go Yohan, with a low curse, scratched his throat roughly and continued.
“That bastard submitted a fucking sex plan with you and that girl, as material.”
“I told him it wasn’t like that.”
“What matters isn’t you, it’s that bastard imagining you with her.”
Go Yohan, arms crossed, pressed his back hard against the wall, his eyebrows furrowing. His expression twisted, like he was muttering curses to the air, then suddenly straightened up and threw a fit.
“No, I mean, he imagined you! Shit, that fucking bastard…”
“Well, I wasn’t important, right? He probably projected it onto me, though.”
“Yeah, but in the end, he imagined it with you. In his sex fantasies!”
Go Yohan slammed his head against the wall again, muttering quietly.
“Romantic, my ass. What kind of pervert makes his sex plans with a guy from his own team.”
That was when it hit me.
Go Yohan had sharp instincts. He’d figured out, in the short time it took to read the report, what Kang Suhyeon hadn’t even noticed—the hidden desire.
“He used you as a stand-in. He projected himself onto you, since he couldn’t do it himself.”
The elevator doors opened. I calmly hit the open button and gestured outside.
Go Yohan, watching me from the corner of his eye, scowled and straightened his back. He then brushed past me, glancing at me as he did, and flicked his bangs.
When we exited the elevator, he didn’t even bother opening the door. He simply stood there, hand on his waist, waiting for me to catch up. I, in turn, scratched my collarbone lightly.
“Isn’t that pretty common?”
“What?”
“Remember back in high school, with Han Junwoo and you?”
I still remember how lively the Monday mornings were. When Han Junwoo showed up, everyone crowded together to listen, the eighteen-year-olds eager for the gossip.
“Why do you think they wanted to hear about a guy’s dick touching another guy’s? Why the cheers? Who would listen to that? They just heard it, got turned on, and projected themselves onto it.”
I felt a strange itch in my collarbone, my neck, and even my ears. I rubbed my skin with my fingertips and continued.
“It’s like that with everyone. If you care about every little thing, you’d just be stressed out and miserable.”
And honestly, the reason sex became the badge of masculinity among boys is pretty obvious. It all boils down to acknowledging someone’s masculinity. In that sense, the reason I was excluded from the Monday morning cheers was because I didn’t fit their image. They wanted Han Junwoo and Go Yohan.
“I was surprised because I’ve never had to deal with something like this before. But, it’s not really a bad thing.”
I honestly didn’t think it was a big deal. And to be fair, it didn’t bother me much. The fact that someone admired me was always a boost to the ego.
I walked past Go Yohan and opened the door lock. I felt the weight of his presence as I entered the code, like he was standing right behind me, watching.
“….”
“….”
When I hesitated at the final button, I heard Go Yohan’s voice, slightly off-key.
“It’s not gonna be like that.”
I turned around as soon as the door opened.
“Not gonna be like what?”
Go Yohan, his lips twitching, looked down at the floor, then up at the wall, and finally scratched his ear. He lifted his eyelids and glanced at me.
At that moment, an uneasy feeling washed over me.
I had a feeling that as soon as Go Yohan opened his mouth, disaster would strike.
This place wasn’t the right spot for that to happen. The hallway was open and the lights automatically flickered on with every movement. It’d be hard to talk here without the sound spreading across the walls and ceiling. Go Yohan was a bomb, and this place wasn’t safe.
He pressed his lips lightly with his index finger, looking at my hand.
I slowly turned the doorknob, deliberately avoiding his gaze, and slid my body through the crack of the door.
“If you don’t have anything else to say, I’m going in.”
I forced a smile and turned to go in, but then I heard heavy footsteps approaching fast. A strong wave of warmth radiated from behind me. Just as I reached for the inner doorknob to close it, Go Yohan’s large hand shot out first. His long fingers caught the knob, and the door slammed shut.
“……”
I was pressed too close. My chest nearly touching his. Though I could tell it wasn’t his intention, he didn’t move away.
The small light by the entrance flickered on. I stared at Go Yohan until the light turned off, then quickly took a step back to remove my shoes. I tried to act as though everything was normal, though it was already too late.
The moment my feet touched the floor inside, the situation changed.
“I don’t know if I should be saying this, but…”
“……”
“I always used you in my fantasies back in high school.”
It took a few seconds for those words to sink in. I reacted half a beat late. My neck stiffened so much that I thought it would snap. If I were a machine, there’d be a creaking sound.
I kept smiling, but I was shocked.
“...What did you use?”
“……”
“……”
Go Yohan’s face grew more bold. The earlier cautious version of him disappeared, replaced by a look that carefully followed my gaze. His tiny pupils disappeared behind long lashes, only to reappear as he grinned.
“Semen.”
……
The light I had triggered with my movement went off again.
Go Yohan, sensing my silence, looked around in the faint darkness, then gave a face that seemed to say, “This wasn’t the right time.” He then shifted back to a more serious expression.
His eyebrows furrowed as he briefly thought, then opened his mouth again.
“Cum…?”
“……”
I tried to articulate my thoughts, but the content only became more sordid. He seemed to think so too, hesitating quite a bit before he spoke, which was at least commendable. Seeing my expression, Go Yohan stopped in his tracks with a serious look, his eyes darting around. Just as he was about to speak, I shook my head.
“Enough…”
“No, don’t say it. Please, just stop there.”
My words came out rapid-fire, my voice trembling at the end. My facial muscles felt as if they were paralyzed with pain. If I looked in a mirror, I probably resembled a beet. Amidst this, Go Yohan expressed his dissatisfaction with my reaction, thinking I was upset.
“It’s not always like this.”
“……”
“Just... there are days when it’s unbearable. Just a bit.”
Even as he said this, Go Yohan’s large hand made a motion as if gripping something, then he made a few back-and-forth motions near his groin before flicking his wrist and casually snapping his fingers.
“No, it’s not just a bit. It’s a lot.”
His face, which had been relaxed with a smile, gradually stiffened. His forefinger casually pressed and stroked his left thigh in a way that was utterly obscene.
“I did.”
“……Crazy.”
What drove me mad was seeing him lift his head, the fingers pressing on his left thigh, the grimacing face biting his lip, and feeling myself get hard below. The heat was building up and moving inside. The wet tip turned red, pressing against the smooth fabric, and I felt the rising sensation distinctly.
The tight underwear painfully compressed everything, making it unbearable. My mind was foggy. The thought that I might be caught if I stayed any longer made me anxious. Hastily, I turned around and opened the door to the nearest restroom.
There was no time to see Go Yohan’s expression. I locked the door behind me, merely making excuses.
“I’ll just wash up and get a grip.”
This content is taken from fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm.
The irony was that I was the one who really needed to get a grip. Moreover, this wasn’t even my place but Go Yohan’s, and yet I stormed in as if it were my own room. How pathetic. Thankfully, no sound came from the other side.
I leaned my forehead against the door, my legs collapsing under me.
“……”
I slid my hands between my knees, bent deeply at the waist. I didn’t dare touch myself, just placing my palms nearby. My forehead slid down along my waist to the floor. I couldn’t even care about my hair disheveling, and I whimpered in embarrassment as old memories surfaced.
“The real crazy one is me.”
There was a reason I couldn’t say anything to Go Yohan, and why I had been overly sensitive. I had used Go Yohan in the same way before. Why did I have to think of the tissue drenched in sticky liquid right now? Damn it.
“……Haah.”
I sighed deeply and removed my hands from between my legs.
I pressed both hands against the cold floor and took long breaths, swallowing repeatedly. As my forehead rubbed against the hard door, the chill cooled down my heated core. After a while, when I had calmed down somewhat, I shakily stood up.
“……I better wash my face first.”
Supporting my dizzy head, I stood in front of the sink. The man with his cheeks and cheekbones flushed red was reflected in the mirror.
“Damn.”
Disgusted by the sight, I turned on the tap and splashed cold water on my face, as if trying to wash away the lingering heat. After drenching my face to the point of suffocation, I looked again. The face now wet with water droplets looked even redder from the friction. Damn, I stood there, defeated.
I brushed back my wet bangs and took a few steps back, bumping my head against the full-length mirror opposite the sink.
I’m really not in my right mind.
I wiped the dripping water from under my chin with my hand. Then I suddenly realized. Why am I even here? I should have gone home. My mind was a mess. I rummaged through my pockets for my phone; no messages. I breathed a sigh of relief and let my arms hang loose.
“Phew.”
I exhaled the suffocation caught at the pit of my stomach. It seemed enough had settled, and I was quite shameless now. I wiped off the remaining water with the back of my hand and headed towards the door. I grabbed the doorknob, swallowed, and turned it. The lock clicked open. Oh, right, I had locked it when I came in. As I continued to turn the doorknob, I felt the other side suddenly pull it.
“What?”
Startled by the jerk in my wrist, I looked up.
“……”
Right in front of the door, Go Yohan stood like a wall. He held the door frame with his hand, having apparently stood there the whole time, just waiting for me to come out. His eyes, looking down at me, were indescribably serene.
That was it. Go Yohan never intended to come to his senses.
“Go, Go Yohan… uh!”
Go Yohan’s hand moved quickly, grabbing my arms. With my arms raised, I numbly received the approaching lips. The already wet lips made an even sloppier sound.
As usual, Go Yohan bit down on my lips with his own. Occasionally, he lightly nibbled with his teeth. Meanwhile, his right hand, failing to grip properly, slid down but soon climbed back up with a stiff motion and clenched. At that moment, unable to struggle, I just let myself be caught.
Feeling my body quiet down, Go Yohan tilted his head and invaded deeper. His lips pressed down on my flesh, biting with his teeth, and his tongue licked up my upper lip. The sound of water friction was loud enough to make my waist ache. The hand that had gripped my arms gradually moved down to my chest and back, reaching my waist.
“……!”
I cried out and hastily put my hands behind me to stop Go Yohan, but my outcry only reached his throat, and he, unfazed by being grabbed, continued like a bulldozer, his hand tracing the curve of my buttocks and venturing deeper.
“Go, Go Yohan… Mmph!”
His long fingers traced down the groove between my buttocks, pressing deep. His palm grabbed my hips tightly and pushed up. My heels lifted. Panic clouded my mind. I desperately pushed against Go Yohan’s shoulders, but it was futile.
