The fact that they sold food at such shady establishment was of no surprise to Uriel, especially considering that most customers arrived in broad daylight and either went back before curfew or stayed the night. What took him by surprise was the quality of the meals provided which were even better than what he got at the Pegasus.

'Perhaps I should hire a chef.' Uriel inwardly thought, but hiring new staff wasn't a priority to him since it would only increase their upkeep cost. Everyday that went by without reaching an agreement with the authorities made their business more dangerous and less profitable and Uriel wanted to get that sorted as soon as possible.

Watching the young man gobble up the food like a slum dweller made it impossible for the prostitute to make small talk and she was left with nothing to do but to watch him eat. While it wasn't an obligation, most customers would treat them some food first or even buy them drinks, but that wasn't Uriel's case.

"That was good!" Uriel let out after challenging the limits of how much food his body could hold. Then, just as if a switch had been flicked his expression changed and became serious. "Now to business, I need information."

"What kind of information?" The woman asked disappointed that her first customer of the day didn't want her services.

"I need to find this city's holy rank hunter." Uriel placed a hundred credits on the table which the prostitute took before replying.

"I don't know anything about a holy rank hunter," Reluctantly, Uriel doubled the cash and the woman continued. "One of my friends says there's a foreign holy rank hunter living the high life at a five star hotel. You'll recognize him because he's covered in bandages, probably caused by his trait."

"That's old news, I'm looking for the holy rank hunter in charge of this city." Uriel replied, then let out a grumble when the woman refused to speak until he placed another bill on the table.

"I don't know anything about that," As soon as she spoke those words Uriel's chilling glare sent shivers down her spine and she hurriedly continued before he became violent. "but my boss will probably know. I'll take you to her."

Uriel left the room as soon as the woman opened the door causing someone who passed by to bump into him.

"Excuse me." Medusa said, then continued on her way under Uriel's disbelieving gaze. The fact that she just happened to stumble upon him meant that she either followed him or that she just happened to enter the same brothel Uriel picked which could be the biggest coincidence Uriel had yet to experience in his life.

Scared out of his wits, Uriel let her go on her way and it wasn't until she disappeared further inside the building that he let out his breath. "That was close." Although his intention was solely to get information, he had no explanation as to why did he go on his own or why did he sneak out of the ship.

"Hey, boss! Join us for a few drinks!" One of the Armstrong men lifted his drink in the air causing Uriel's face to turn from red to purple, until he noticed he wasn't talking to him but to Nika who just walked in.

"Sorry, I'm on a mission." She said as she approached the Armstrong table, though she drank all the beer mugs she could grab before the men could even react.

'If both Medusa and Nika are here, it's safe to assume that Luna will also be here and since Nika mentioned they're on a mission, it can only mean that this place is run by the Dolminicos.' Uriel finally found an explanation as to why the food tasted so good and at the same time finding a perfect excuse for his presence there.

"I'm sorry, but she's not one of our employees." The woman said in an apologetic tone when she noticed the way Uriel looked at Nika. Even to her it was painfully obvious that she couldn't compete with the sunkissed goddess in front of them, but what hurt her the most was the fact that Uriel didn't even acknowledge her despite her best efforts at flirting with him.

"It's fine." Uriel shrugged and followed the woman to an office where he saw someone he never met before yet looked awfully familiar.

"Did you come here to gloat!?" The woman hit the table with the palms of her hands as soon as she saw Uriel, leaving him confounded.

"Huh? I'm here to..."

"Actually, I don't care what you're here for. Just go away." She dropped on the table as her beautiful green eyes shimmered, not because of flux energy but because of the fresh tears that poured out.

"I think you might have mistaken me for someone else." In response to this, the woman stood up and started taking off her clothes revealing her soft skin right in front of him, though he never took his gaze from her eyes. It may have seemed insignificant, but it meant the world for the professional pride of the prostitute by his side.

If the customer didn't so much as bat an eye in front of her naked boss, then she had no reasons to worry about her own appearance. His cold behavior had nothing to do with her, but with his strong will.

'Hamana hamana hamana...' Uriel repeated over and over, not letting a hint of his desire leak through his face. This turned out for the best as it even impressed the dryad who after shapeshifting into her true form, Uriel finally recognized her to be Elio's girlfriend.

"How about now?" Her soft hands were decorated with small thorns and her body covered in vines that looked like a dress.

"I recognize you, but I don't get why are you so angry towards me." Uriel replied. frёeωebɳovel.com

"Now you're just playing the fool. Why else would you come here right after Elio's sentence?" The dryad said, but then realized he wasn't pretending not to know about it. While still bearing a serious expression, Uriel's confused face was so funny she would have chuckled if not for her broken heart.

"I just came to find information about this city's holy rank hunter, tell me what I want to know and I'll be out of your hair... vines... whatever." Uriel needed an answer and he needed it quick, hopefully before being found by his friends. Moreover, he had the feeling that the dryad might want to involve him in her troubles.

"I'll tell you what you want to know, but first you'll have to speak to the guardian of the forest so he can spare Elio's life. The Dolminicos are indebted to you, you have to do it!"

"First, I don't have to do anything just because you say it," Uriel's voice became louder. "Second, they sure are indebted to me, but I'm not willing to cash in any favors if there's nothing to gain for me," Filled to the brim with flux energy, his eyes shone in the dimly lit room. "And third, you'll tell me what I want to know if you know what's best for you."

It could be argued that Uriel didn't have a reason to become angry, but that was far from the truth. From the moment he became a hunter people owed him and even the Mapple corp. failed to pay him for the expedition to Chichén Itzá. Seeing how the dryad shamelessly asked him for help without even offering any sort of compensation made him see red.

Not just that, she was also among the people Uriel fought hard to protect which meant she herself was indebted to him, yet instead of showing any respect she treated him like an unwelcome guest at first and like an annoyance after.

For once, he wanted people to stop expecting him to do things for them without getting anything in return. For once, he wanted to be respected instead of bullied by people who had no clue as to how much did he had to sacrifice to get the little power he now had.

It got to the point where he was willing to extract the information he wanted one way or the other, but he wasn't willing to even listed to the dryad's problems unless she paid upfront.

"You're right, please, calm yourself." The dryad said with a soothing voice, the same one she used to calm Elio whenever his fiery character got the best of him.

"I'm calm, you don't even know how I look when I'm angry." Uriel snickered, still needlessly channeling some flux energy just to make his point clear.

"He goes by Allegro, finding him will be easy, but you'll never get to meet him unless he allows it." She said, inwardly scolding herself for treating him poorly. Up until that moment, she thought him to be the one responsible for what happened to Elio, but now she wasn't so sure anymore.

"A party from my company is on their way here. After you give them what they want you're free to ask them for help as long as you pay the fair price for our services." Were Uriel's words before he slammed the door behind him.
