Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Third Young Master, I Feel Wronged

The car stopped about a meter from Bella Woods.

The door opened, and a man’s leather shoes stepped onto the ground. His muscular, long legs were wrapped in black suit pants. He opened a black umbrella and walked step by step toward Bella Woods.

As the man approached, he lifted the black umbrella, revealing a sharply defined face.

He stood in front of Bella Woods, raised the black umbrella high, and just looked at her.

Bella Woods did not make a sound, raised her head to look at the man, her eyes slightly red, not speaking, but her gaze was particularly like an abandoned, homeless, aggrieved little puppy.

"Third Young Master." She called softly.

"Hmm, I’m back," Ashton Marshall replied with certainty.

Bella Woods pouted, large tears falling: "I did something really bad today."

"What did you do?" Ashton Marshall asked.

"Dad and Mom want to give me to Elder Thompson to exchange for benefits. I learned about this from a servant who has a good relationship with me, and then I let that servant swap mine and Rose’s dinnerware."

She lowered her eyes, not quite daring to look at Ashton Marshall.

And Ashton Marshall’s gaze remained the same as just now when he looked at her: "Was it Rose’s idea?"

"Elder Thompson was introduced to Rose by a classmate of hers, who told my parents. It was also the person setting the stage. That classmate found Rose because Elder Thompson likes Rose, but Rose told my parents that Elder Thompson likes me."

All of this was learned from that servant.

Bella Woods was nice to that servant because on Bella’s first day in Peace City, it was also that servant’s first day working for the Woods Family. She accidentally gave Rose orange juice, which Rose didn’t like, and was scolded and made to stand under heavy rain outside.

Bella Woods made an excuse, saying she needed the servant’s help to organize her stuff, and called her upstairs, letting her shower in her room.

Because of this, that servant had always been good to Bella Woods.

In the past, the servant would remind Bella Woods not to always try to please her family, and this time was the same.

"And then, what did you do?" Ashton Marshall asked.

"They tampered with my dinnerware, but after Rose used it, she started feeling unwell. When she went to her room to sleep, the servant took her to my room, and I went to Rose’s room."

Earlier, Ron Woods came in and told Jade Patel that everything was ready, indicating they didn’t even look; they just took the quilt and person away together.

After finishing these words, Bella Woods mustered the courage to face Ashton Marshall: "Do you think I’m very bad?"

Ashton Marshall bent down to look Bella Woods in the eye, gently touching her wet hair: "Is our Little Bella feeling very wronged?"

"Feeling like, although we’re both daughters, why is there such a big difference, wanting to know if we’re their natural-born daughter?"

Bella Woods, originally tense while waiting for Ashton Marshall’s opinion on the matter, was stunned by the question, not knowing how to respond for a moment.

"I..." She moved her lips but couldn’t get a word out.

Ashton Marshall pulled her into his arms: "Luckily, our Little Bella is smart, and fortunately, our Little Bella has a good heart and had someone to help. Otherwise, my Little Bella would have been bullied."

He lightly stroked Bella Woods’ head, leaving a kiss on her cheek.

Bella Woods was a bit dazed by his words and after a while asked: "Don’t you think I’m bad, treating my sister like this?"

"You just gave others a taste of their own medicine."

"The beginning of this matter was Rose harboring malice, while the Woods parents merely wanted to trade you for benefits. From beginning to end, you just passively endured all this."

"But I am very proud; you’ve learned to fight back and handle these matters yourself. Child, at this moment, you have truly grown up."

Bella Woods listened in a daze to what Ashton Marshall said.

When he taught her, his gaze was always sincere and serious, without perfunctoriness, not just offering comfort, but seriously analyzing the root of the matter and informing her whether her actions were right or wrong.

"You really don’t think I’m bad?"

Yet Bella Woods still hesitated to ask.

Ashton Marshall chuckled softly: "You always feel that, as daughters, why do your parents care so much for Rose while treating you like this, right?"

Bella Woods nodded: "I can’t understand it. I don’t know if I’m too bad, but I’ve always been trying, working hard at school, trying to prove that I’m not bad or inferior to anyone else, but why..."

"Because the problem lies with them, not you," Ashton Marshall answered Bella Woods’ question.

But with such an answer, Bella Woods didn’t know how to respond.

"It’s late; let me take you back to wash up, so you don’t catch a cold."

Ashton Marshall led Bella Woods toward the car.

As for the matters with the Woods Family, Ashton Marshall didn’t have any intention of discussing them further, and Bella Woods didn’t feel right to bring it up; he was already comforting her.

"Didn’t you say this business trip would be long? Why did you come back suddenly?"

After sitting in the car, Bella Woods asked.

"Finished up the work, so I came back," Ashton Marshall replied concisely.

Meanwhile, far away, Tim Season was staying up handling documents, continuously cursing Ashton Marshall for choosing a girl over a friend, abandoning all work just because he sensed his little girlfriend was in some emotional state.

However, even if Ashton Marshall knew about this, he wouldn’t let Bella Woods know.

Bella Woods didn’t understand Ashton’s work, and since he explained it as such, Bella naturally didn’t ask further.

The whole way was silent.

Originally, Bella Woods thought Ashton Marshall would take her to her place or Cascade Court, but Ashton took her to a hotel.

In the elevator, Bella Woods was still puzzled looking at him.

"I’m just staying at home for one night; I have to leave tomorrow afternoon, so it’s more convenient at the hotel," Ashton Marshall explained to Bella Woods.

But no matter how Bella Woods thought about it, she didn’t feel the hotel was more convenient.

If he had to leave tomorrow afternoon, wouldn’t Cascade Court be more convenient? Behind Cascade Court is Ashton’s private airstrip.

She was full of doubts, but as Ashton took her into the hotel room, Bella Woods couldn’t ask much. He said what it is, it is.

Perhaps there was another arrangement, just not convenient to tell Bella Woods.

Bella Woods was thinking when she was suddenly pulled into the room. The moment the door closed with a ’bang,’ Bella’s cheeks were cupped, and the man’s overwhelming kiss fell like a storm, conquering and dominating immensely.

Bella Woods was initially dazed and only reacted after a few seconds, tilting her head to respond to the man’s fervor, then jumped onto his body, her legs familiarly wrapping around his lean waist.

As she lowered her head, her long hair cascaded downwards, cradling his face, quietly gazing at him with some infatuation.

"Did you miss me?" he asked, his voice pressed low, eyes deep and alluring.

"Yeah." She said.

"Yeah?" The man deliberately furrowed his brows: "What did you say, I couldn’t hear?"

He looked at her and asked again, "Did you miss me?"
