Chapter 194: Chapter 194

Capital City...Underground...

"Are you sure that this information is one hundred percent true?" Big Two asked after reading the information that they had just received.

When Big Two read the information, he was sceptical about this. He didn’t believe that it was true. He felt that there was something wrong with this. No way that this has happened. Who would believe that?

The others sighed as well, thinking it might be a trap.

Though the alliance might not know their true names, the code names used for them were well known.

There are five members as heads of the cult.

Though the lower-end members act as if they are all from different cults, and so do the civilians and other low-ranking awakeners, that was not the case.

There is only a single cult, with a lot of divisions acting as various cults.

This was only known to the top cult leaders, alliance leaders, and powerful awakeners. This was done on purpose.

When the cult started, they wanted to confuse the alliance by creating multiple fronts, making the alliance impossible to concentrate on one, fearing that other cults might have ideas about causing trouble for the alliance.

This ruse worked for a while until a spy from the alliance was able to sneak in and find out some secrets. He was originally on a different mission but stumbled onto something that changed everything between the cults and the alliance.

He found that there was only one cult but acted as many cults in order to confuse the alliance, and they succeeded in doing so.

The reason why he found the information, the higher-ups of the cult didn’t think that someone could infiltrate the deeper sections of the cult, but someone did. Their security was top-notch, and no one should have been able to do so, but someone did.

Of course, the spy was found as the infiltration triggered an alarm and alerted everyone. The cult caught the spy and killed him later on, but the damage was done by that time. Before they caught the spy, he was able to send partial information to the alliance before he died.

Though the information was partial, the alliance came to know that there was only one cult and it was controlled by five members, code-named Big One to Big Five. This was a big issue for the cult.

Learning from the mistakes, they improved, which made infiltrating deep into the cults a nightmare. Though there are many alliance spies among the lower end, there are none in the higher end. No one could reach the inner circles anymore.

The cults would rather lose members than let anyone enter the circle without any achievement for their cruelty against the alliance or its affiliated organisations. This made it almost impossible for people to infiltrate the inner circle.

The alliance, on the other hand, kept the secret about the cults for reasons of its own.

Whenever a cult was eradicated, it would boost the morale of the society, and the alliance would see massive improvements in many aspects. So, instead of releasing the truth, it acted as if there were a lot of cults and the alliance had dissolved many of them.

Though the cults knew about this, they couldn’t just show they were the only one.

Who would believe them?

The civilians would just think that it was just a ruse to smear the alliance’s strength, or they had unified because they were afraid of the alliance. Either method could even increase the alliance’s popularity. So, both kept the secret to themselves.

"We can’t cross this away as a trap, but take this as a chance to humble the alliance", Big Four spoke.

"Is this because it was your forces that took the brunt of the attacks recently?" Big Five asked.

"Shut up",

"Everyone, calm down. This is a meeting to discuss about the future. So, let’s discuss", Big one spoke.

The others nodded, and they started to point out everything that could be done about this or couldn’t be done.

After a long discussion, they decided to use the situation and cause more chaos, at least four agreed to that.

"What would the Supreme think about this?" Big Five asked.

"He told us not to disturb him for twenty years. Though most of the time was done, it was best not to disturb the supreme, or do you want someone to sit in your place?" Big One asked.

"No, no, no", the Big Five pulled back and said, "Let’s do as you say", he agreed with the plan, though he was not interested in doing so.

He decided to act as if he were doing the required work, but would skim as much as possible. For the last few months, he has started to have bad feelings. As a Divinator, he can’t discard such things, but those four fools didn’t believe much that came from him.

He carries a curse, which he hid from others.

Normally, when anyone sees the future, it would definitely change a little, just by someone watching it, as the person who knew about the future would start to think about altering the future if the future shown was bleak.

Even so, there would be a high resemblance with what the Divinators saw, but with the Big Five, that won’t be the case.

Whenever he divinates for others, there is a fifty percent chance that everything would be exactly as he says or nothing would be as he describes, but that was for others.

If he divinates about himself, he would know for sure what would happen without any interference, even if the one involved in the incident is powerful enough to escape divination skills.

The others have no idea about the curse and only know that they can’t rely on his divinations. So, even if he says something, there is a high chance they wouldn’t believe him.

He couldn’t take a chance with them. So, he just tried to warn them and dissuade, but he understood that was not possible. So, he would just fake play his part, while looking for a way out from this mess, as he saw not just his death but also the death of all the other four, but that’s not what worried him.

It was the death of the Supreme.
