Immediately after, they saw heads of these 'people' suddenly set ablaze by a gorgeous flame, giving them the idea of what they were.

"It is the Legion of the Chaotic Sun!" said Sakura after seeing the blazing heads of those silhouettes.

Given how famous this legion was within the game, it was quite easy to recognize them, especially with such a unique feature.

They then later found themselves being surrounded from all sides, which include the ceiling of the corridor as there were a bunch of skeleton crawlers stuck on it.

There were also some skeleton archers and mages standing at the heads and shoulders of the tall statues.

They immediately realized that they were currently in a difficult position. But Sakura and Yamamoto remained calm due to the presence of the person that they had on their side.

Kael scanned the surroundings, seemingly looking for the signs of their opponents. He then later found Shin and Chaotic Luck standing and watching them from a considerable distance.

Kael just glanced at the swarming skeleton soldiers, but it was enough to give him a sudden chill, especially after seeing the formation and the timing of each unit that the opposing side was using.

"Scary," he could only come up with these words as he could tell how meticulous the arrangement was that the opposing party had used in this wave of attacks.

The trio from the Earner Mercenary Group then found themselves in the middle of totem formations hidden among the swarming skeleton soldiers.

The totems established a link between one another, forming a dome that sealed the surrounding mana, making it harder for the three to use any skill or spell.

"The previous attacks are nothing but a cover for these totems!? Tsk! We have fallen into a trap," said Kael after realizing what the previous arrangements were truly meant for.

"The Devil Strategist, his tactical methods are truly hard to deal with," he added before telling the two. "Cover me. I'll be using the Mystic Wheel."
