"A grim reaper like you wouldn’t understand it anyway. You’re a human now but you cannot even understand it."

That made him frown. "What do you mean?"

"A grim reaper who doesn’t even have compassion nor can empathize with the souls he guides, I wonder why you are a grim reaper? Even an animal has an instinct to feel but you have not. Your job was to fulfill the unfinished business, right? But I wonder when you guided souls, did you really fulfill them with this attitude?"

Qin An looked at him coldly and didn’t speak.

"Have you really considered what their hearts desire when you decide to send them? Or have you just said their wish couldn’t be fulfilled because you couldn’t understand them?"

"Rules are rules. Dead cannot interfere with the living." Qin An refuted but Xiaopang shook his head.

"Qin An, when you decided to accept this job again, what was inside your heart? Did you accept this with the thought of having no choice, or did you do it to help this world? If it’s the latter, why did fate give you a chance to become a human when you’re incapable of feeling as one?"

As a grim reaper, their job was to only help the souls solve their unfinished business. They will try to accommodate them as long as it affects the living world.
