Chapter 114: Dark Monster

The dark energy touches him and he immediately notices how his body turns colder and heavier. This made him pause for a bit but afterwards his movements became quicker.

The monster became more aggressive and knew that he wanted the human so it’s energy climbed up until Lu Nanxiao could feel not just his legs but already half of his body was heavy.

The young man’s face turns pale and want to struggle even more. He looked at Qin An with fear and panic in his eyes. He has no idea what is going on but he really needs to get out of here now!

Qin An felt his fear and look at him with a calm eyes, unknowingly putting an assurance to the young man.

Qin An’s face turns solemn and he stops shooting energy. Then, his fingers move fast to draw a formation using the spiritual energy. Afterwards, a small golden magic circle appeared in front of him. He raises his hand and touches it. After feeling an object coming out, Qin An pulled it out, revealing the sword that he’s been always using in his past life.

It was actually pure black and even the blade itself was as pure black as charcoal. The only thing that made it peculiar was the golden carving around the handle that seems like the same with the magic circle he created.

The sword is long and a bit thin but it didn’t hinder showing its majesty and sharpness. Qin A held the familiar sword companion and felt his blood start to boil in excitement.

Unsurprisingly, he misses fighting. Unfortunately, he can also feel his breath going short so he knew he had to do this quickly.

The dark monster also noticed the power exuding from the sword and became agitated. It screamed loudly using its sharp voice and suddenly lunged at him. It also let Lu Nanxiao go and seems to want to fully attack him this time.

Qin An didn’t feel any fear and rushed a spiritual energy to his lower body to dispel the remaining dark energy.

Qin An swim back fast towards the dark monster and didn’t hesitate to move his sword and slash it forward.

"Euck!!" The monster screams aloud again and starts attacking back. Those shadows were divided into multiple parts and attacked him at the same time so Qin An became alert and fought back.

His black sword could easily cut these shadows but unfortunately it will regenerate back in a few seconds. Fortunately with his spiritual energy, its strength could weaken it so he could only cut it again and again until its strength finally loosen badly for him to launch an attack.

It’s just that again, Qin An is not in his original grim reaper body and his human self has only A+ physique. How could he fight hard and longer when he’s under water?

So not only the monster but he could also feel his body rapidly losing strength. Aside from this, there is one thing he noticed earlier.

The Yang and Yin are not fused perfectly.

A human’s body is full of yang and thus it can attract evil creatures especially those who have a special physique that can see them. While as the yin, it’s the energy contrasting yang.

Death is the same energy with it and so was he, or rather his former body. And now that he is a human with a power from yin energy, it is clearly not possible. This is different from people with metaphysical powers. They are just normal people and were gifted. Even so, they also need a strong yang to fight the yin energy so it could not affect them occasionally.

Now in his case, it is just worse.

He could feel his body rapidly growing cold and it affected him fighting with the monster.

This could not take any longer anymore. He thought and grip his sword tightly.

He doesn’t care about what will happen to his body anymore and prepares a hard counterattack.

His fingers once again drew a complex formation and soon a large golden magic circle appeared in front of him.

Qin An quickly shoots it to the dark monster without hesitation.

However, as soon as it landed towards it and the monster let out a painful scream, he also felt an overwhelming exhaustion splash on him. His hands tremble and he subconsciously grip the sword. His face turned pale and only when he saw the dark monster dying from the attack that he let out a blood from his mouth.

The dark monster disappeared and so did his sword. The ocean became quiet again and it seems like there’s only him floating under.

Qin An wanted to swim back to breath but it was his body this time that didn’t cooperate and thus felt himself gradually going down.

He looks above blankly and his body gives up from struggling. His eyelids are now heavy and Qin An wants to sleep.

And the last thing that he remembered before totally losing consciousness was he aw a blurry figure swimming towards him fastly.

On the other side, everyone cheered when they finally saw Lu Nanxiao coming out from the water. Yet, just as they were about to be happy, a question brought another horror to them.

"Where is Qin An?!"

"!!!" Everyone’s eyes widened when they realized this and really saw nothing coming out from the water.

Afterwards, the situation got even worse when they felt the ground shaking a bit. The dark monster is invisible to humans but its loud shriek and momentum created huge waves to the ocean and it created a loud mess outside.

Seeing there seems to be something wrong, everyone begins panicking.

"Call for help!" A staff shouted and just as they opened their brain to call for a rescue, they saw a small starship flying towards their direction.

That starship was very fast and arrived at their location in just a few seconds.

And what was even more shocking was when they saw the cockpit opened and someone ran fast and jumped into the ocean without hesitation.
