Beastmen Love-Chapter 183: Convincing New Tribe Members

Bono and the others were hearing the velociraptors laughing, but they waited patiently until they stopped.

"Partners? To a tyrannus? You only think about power, and want to eat our kind. Why should I be your partner?"

"Because I am different. I’m not King Freyd. I came to ask for your help to defeat him." Bono says.

"Defeat King Freyd? Why do you want to defeat him? Isn’t he the same kind as yours?"

"We are, but that doesn’t mean we think the same. He’s a bastard. He kills everyone he doesn’t see as worthy. He takes females to be r4p3d by his warriors just because he thinks they’re the strongest. They keep innocent people alive to enslave them. I’m not the same." Bono says.

"If you’re not the same. Why do you want to take him down? It’s just for taking his place."

"How should I call you?" Bono asks.

The velociraptor leader measures Bono with his eyes, then sighs.

"Ian."

"Leader Ian. If you want, you can be the King in his place after we kill him." Bono says, shocking everyone.

"I don’t care about titles. After we kill him, you can take his place if you want. What we can’t do is let him wipe out the existence of the dinosaurs. I gathered three small tribes to work together. Do you think that after killing us, he won’t come after you? If you don’t let him control you, he will kill all of you after he kills us. We need to work together to take him down." Bono says.

"I don’t want to be King. I just want my people to live in peace." Ian answers.

Ian sighs, knowing Bono is right. He has been hiding in the shadows for years because the King wanted to kill all small dinosaurs. He’s also impressed that Bono praised their abilities as velociraptors.

Otto is impressed by his son’s attitude. He couldn’t be prouder.

"Come with me and let me prove to you that our plan will work." Bono says.

"How do you know he will come from the front?" Ian asks.

"Because we tricked him. We made him believe that we built Daern’s Tribe for him and that we have beastmen to produce clothes and medicine. He got infatuated with a female who lives there, and he will come back to take her when I send a messenger to tell him she’s not pregnant anymore. We also convinced him to bring his right hand, Juno. We will take the bad weeds from their roots."

"And this female is on his side?"

"No. She helped us convince him. The last thing she wants is to be his spouse. We have doctors on our side. We have three dragons. We have Caris and Carist, they’re an ancient dinosaur called Hydra. They’re a two-headed dragon. And we have something that King Freyd doesn’t have: someone to protect and a purpose."

Ian thinks carefully, looking at Bono, then the others behind him.

"I have a condition." Ian says.

"Name it."

"My sister. She’s sick. We need her to be treated. We have only two females left. You said you have doctors."

"Of course. Let’s take her. All of you can come live with us if you want. We can help to protect your females. We have houses and cabins left."

"If I see any funny movement, we will be gone and leave you to be eaten."

Bono nods, smiling.

"You can eat me yourself."

Ian snorts, then nods to his warriors, who disperse. Ian brings them to his tribe, which contains only simple tents and cabins. Raptors’ Tribe has 50 warriors and 2 females. It’s not much, but if they use the velociraptors’ skills, it will be as if they were 200. While they were preparing to leave, Bono and the others were waiting.

"You did great, son." Otto taps Bono’s shoulder.

"You handled them very well. You learned a lot from Astri, indeed." Cyprian says, smiling.

"It’s not about her teachings...It’s about hearing, too." Caris praises Bono.

"Yeah.. It wasn’t bad. Not as clever as Astri, but it wasn’t bad." Carist humphs.

"She will be fine. There’s nothing Astri, Claud, and Zin can’t treat." Otto says positively, but when they see the state of Ian’s sister, they start to pray because she is in a really bad state.

She was pale, weak, and thin. Has rashes around her body, and some have become deep wounds. They try to travel fast, but not as fast as they wanted, because of the sick female. When they arrive at Daern’s Tribe, Ian is impressed with the big walls.

"Welcome our new tribe members. Treat all of them warmly and with due respect. If someone treats them badly, I’ll treat it as treason. Understood?" Bono announces.

"Aye, Leader!" Everyone answers.

"Troy, Roy, and Pete, please bring them to the remaining houses and cabins. Also, tell them the tribe rules." Bono orders, and they nod. "Come. Bring your sister. Bring only two of her males, or else the doctors won’t be able to treat her." He says to Ian.

Ian nods and does what Bono said. They bring Ian’s sister to the hospital. Astri was there checking the storage of medicines with Zin, Claud, and Kangki. They were impressed when they saw the very sick female.

"Bono! Put her here, quick." Astri says, pointing to the bed.

Ian lays his sister on the bed, admiring Astri’s beauty. Claud, Zin, and Astri were focused on the sick female, examining her and asking questions to find out what she had. Astri and Claud clean the female’s wounds while Zin prepares the medicines.

Astri helps the female to sit and drink the medicines, while Claud explains to the spouses what they need to do.

"What is your name, dear? We were so worried we forgot to ask your name." Astri asks the female.

"Kiana." The female answers weakly.

"Kiana. Beautiful name. My name is Astri. You’re going to be fine. I know it’s scary, but if you follow what we did, take your medicines, bathe and eat properly, you will live long." Astri says, smiling at Kiana.

Kiana’s eyes filled with tears and nods, thanking. Zin gives Kiana’s spouses the medicines, tells them how to prepare them, but they don’t have any idea of how to make tea.

"Father, can you tell them how to make a bathtub and fire?" Bono asks Otto.

"Sure." Otto nods.

"If until morning you don’t have the pots to make the tea medicine. Come here and we will make it for you." Zin says, and they nod.

"This is important, Kiana. Whenever you can, come out of your house to sunbathe a little. Walk even if it’s just a little. Do not stay down for too long, all right? Moving your body will understand you’re getting better and will get stronger." Astri says to Kiana, who nods again. "Good luck. And welcome." Astri says, standing up slowly.
