Beastmen Love-Chapter 141: Lee’s Old Friend

Regaining her balance, Viola tries a new tactic. She feints a leap to Astri’s left but at the last moment, twists in mid-air, aiming to tackle Astri from the right.

Astri’s reflexes kick in. She ducks and rolls, narrowly escaping Viola’s claws. Astri chuckles after seeing that Viola tried her own strategy.

"Trying to be smart by copying me? You have to be more creative than this." Astri says, and Viola growls in return.

When Viola charges again, Astri meets her head-on, not with brute force but with precision.

She catches Viola’s paw mid-swipe, twisting it in a way that forces the panther to flip onto her back.

In a blink of an eye, Astri moves in, using a combination of pressure points and holds to keep Viola pinned. The panther thrashes, but Astri’s grip is unwavering.

She uses a technique from Jiu-Jitsu, that she once watched on TV a very long time ago, wrapping her legs around Viola’s torso and locking her arms around the panther’s neck in a rear-naked choke. Viola’s eyes widen as she feels the pressure constricting her airflow.

Viola tries to shift back, but she struggles weakened as oxygen deprivation begins to take its toll.

The crowd watches in awe, the tension palpable.

When Viola is shifted back to human form, she’s practically unconscious, so Astri releases Viola, who tries to crawl away, but Astri kicks her and rides on her to give her some good punches in the face.

"Does it feel good to be humiliated, Viola?" Astri asks, and keeps punching Viola’s face.

"Ss- Stop! I give up!" Viola cries, not handling anymore.

Astri stops after hearing that, so she grabs Viola’s face and says very seriously:

"The terms were clear. You fought bravely, but respect my family and never again dare to touch any of them. Understood?"

"Yes.. I understand."

"Good. Clothes!" Astri says.

Astri doesn’t leave Viola until a sheet is brought to her.

"What are you doing?" Viola asks.

"You’re a female. Your body belongs to your males, there are unmated males here and I don’t want to expose you more than you already were." Astri answers, take the sheet, and covers Viola’s naked body, impressing everyone because in the end Astri still cares for her opponent.

Viola’s males help her to stand up and then look at Astri with amazement, not believing that Astri is not even tired after the duel.

"Lady Astri won the duel." Shung proudly says.

The crowd cheers happily. The ones that didn’t know Astri yet, are now understanding why she has such strong males, it’s because she is strong too.

"Mommy!! You the stwongest!" Yuki runs and hugs Astri, who lovingly hugs Yuki back.

Her children are proud of her, running around and her spouses are clearly holding their excitement.

"Whose turn?" Koa asks.

"Mine. All mine.." Dieg answers, already imagining when the night comes, and the rest groan angrily.

"I need a bath. Let’s go, dears." Astri says to her children, then she sees Kangki on Claud’s side. "Oh, something could take you out?" She jokes.

"Not something. Only you can take me out." Kangki answers, smiling, making Astri giggle and roll her eyes.

She looks at Xzan getting closer with Shung, and Xzan admires her eyes feeling speechless after seeing her even closer. Her spouses widened their auras for all unmated males to step away, and that made Xzan gain back his voice.

"I am Xzan. An old friend of Lee. He came to train the beastmen of my tribe." Xzan presents himself to the others, but his eyes land on Astri again. "Congratulations. You have amazing skills." Xzan says to her.

"Thank you, Lord Xzan. I apologize we had to meet in such circumstances. You’re welcome to come to our home and feast. You might have many to talk with my spouse Lee since you’re old friends. Shung, you’re welcome to join too." Astri speaks and then walks away with her children, followed by her spouses.

"Now I know why you settled down. You were like me, not wanting a female, but you found the best female of all time. I want her too." Xzan says in a low voice to Lee as they walk together behind the others.

"Don’t even dare." Lee warns.

"Why? Is it because her males are strong?"

"We don’t want any more males. I can’t handle any more males."

"Well, it’s not your choice. Apparently, she liked me for inviting me to your home." Xzan chuckles.

"She invites all guests because she’s nice and cordial. And because she knows leaders have to talk in privacy, or do you think she called Shung to take her from his spouse? And third, she’s not even here pampering you."

Xzan looks at Astri and realizes that normally a female would be circling him, but Astri is not.

They arrive at the castle, and Xzan is impressed with the greatness of the place. The garden is beautiful and the walls are high.

"A place fit for a Queen.." Xzan says, with a smile.

"She’s our Queen."

Xzan looks at the guards, seeing that all of them are very strong and with several marks.

"You have the best beastmen here." Xzan wonders how they could get so many strong beastmen.

Xzan knows that Lee had very powerful beastmen, but none had more than 8 marks. The priest guard on the front gate had 10 marks, and some were wearing clothes hiding their marks but he could sense they were strong too.

They get inside the castle and Astri goes bathe, she has to lock herself because she knows her spouses are excited and if she lets any of them come with her it will make them fight later.

When Astri is back, dinner is ready and everyone is sat. Astri’s fresh clean smell made her spouses want to be closer to her even more. She uses essences and soaps she made, so her smell is always good. Xzan is almost drooling looking at her.

"You came to talk or to admire my spouse?" Lee asks Xzan.

"Both." Xzan answers, with a playful smile for Astri.

She chuckles, rolling her eyes.

"Did you two live together for a long time? Or were raised together? I can see you two are alike somehow." Astri asks Lee and Xzan.

"Unfortunately. We were raised together and then I decided to train beastmen for money and build my own village." Lee answers.

"He wanted to travel and win money. I was smarter to get money without leaving." Xzan says, chuckling.

"You’re like brothers that fight for attention. That’s cute." Astri smiles and keeps on eating, making Xzan blush for being called cute that way.

"When I received the invitation to come meet where Lee’s tribe was, I was wondering why he wanted me to come meet his new tribe. I thought he wanted to make an alliance and have stronger beastmen. But after seeing the beastmen here, I got confused. These tribes look wealthy enough either. And as I can see, you’re not offering your spouse to convince me either." Xzan says, with crossed arms.

"You really look like brothers. You’re so smart and attentive to details. Just like Lee when we first met." Astri chuckles.

"Stop comparing us. I’m way better than him." Lee says, annoyed.

"All right. I’m sorry, love. I was just pointing out that you look like siblings but that doesn’t mean you’re exactly the same. If you were just like everyone else I wouldn’t love you the way I do." Astri speaks, and Lee smiles wanting to jump from his seat, throw everyone out through the window, and go deep inside of her.

Xzan looks at Astri with impressed eyes, and then to Lee.

"You’re her favorite even if you’re not the strongest of her males? How can you be so lucky?" He asks Lee.

"I don’t favor any of them. I love all my spouses equally, Lord Xzan. I don’t care if they’re strong or weak, or their kind. Anyone can become strong, I care about their heart only." Astri answers.

Xzan is amazed, then he feels his heart jumping in his throat.

"We’re strong because of our Queen. She makes us want to improve knowing she loves us. That’s why we’re constantly growing stronger." Tyr proudly says.

Kangki is getting annoyed with Xzan gawking at Astri all the time, so he tries to get her attention.

"Did you duel with that female only because she hit Hopin? Or did she say something else to you?" Kangki asks her.

"Because of Hopin only. She said several things, but I don’t care." Astri answers.

"What did she say?" Shung asks.

"That Astri is deceiving males into believing she cares about them and that they will become her spouse to have a position of leader here. She said that Astri made them not want to procreate anymore." Dieg answers.

"That was fun." Astri chuckles remembering that.

"Astri is not deceiving males. Males are just being smarter in choosing a female and are not accepting just anything." Dieg says.

"That’s good. This way females will try to be better too, raising a nation of strong beastmen." Claud speaks, playing with Atlas.

Astri feels Nature talking to her, so she cleans her lips and excuses herself to go to the toilet. Not sensing it was something urgent, she decided to not call her spouses’ attention yet.
