"What else can we do? Will its threat to us disappear if we leave it alone? Myriadpath Valley doesn't even have a fortuna-class astralship! The copper coffin is currently masterless. What happens when that brat takes it over and comes knocking on our doors? Do you think you'll be safe in Suishen Cave?" Yumo Diyan hissed.

To elites of his level, not even fortuna-class astralships would pose any harm to their person. However, the same wasn’t the case for their descendants. Everything from their legacy caeli to cultivation resources were within Qitian and Yumo Caves. A fortuna-class ship could easily take that all away.

"Talking about it now is pointless," the valley lord said, breaking the silence.

"Dad, you mean to say...." Qitian Muyu turned and looked at the figure in the dark.

"Putting aside whether we enter the secret realm, we can at least go to see it for ourselves. We have to," the valley lord said. But that didn't mean he would give up on obtaining the divine astralship. Qitian Muyue had given them a rather exhaustive description, but they would need to see it with their own eyes to get a proper idea.

"My sister’s understanding of divine astralships is limited. We do have to see the secret realm for ourselves to get a rough idea," Qitian Muyu agreed. However, he wouldn't rush into the secret realm, especially after they had already lost so much to it.

Qitian Muyue's heart beat faster. She had almost succeeded! It didn't matter whether they decided to enter it or not, since the copper coffin didn't exist in the first place!

"The formation at Yumo Cave is activated anyway, so we won't have to worry about Suishen Xiyue or Suishen Jiguang causing trouble. Since we're all here now, let's go!" Yumo Diyan stood up and looked at the figure in the shadows. "Valley Lord, you’re heavily injured, so it isn’t appropriate for you to leave. Let the three of us and Qitian Muyue go."

Injured as the valley lord was, he was still a force to be reckoned with. Coupled with Qitian Muyue and the other elites of House Qitian, they would have a greater say in things even with Suishen Ranxing and Yumo Diyan in the picture. If an opportunity like the Blissful Union showed up again, House Yumo would easily be wiped out like they had been before.

As such, Yumo Diyan had to take control of the situation. He was getting desperate after losing ten more eminents. All he wanted to do was to wipe out Tianming and return Myriadpath Valley to how it used to be. Then he would slowly raise House Yumo up again using starblood. At this point, Yumo Diyan was against everything that would shake up Myriadpath Valley, like Tianming, the Blissful Union, and the copper coffin.

Qitian Cave and Yumo Cave were fully able to repel threats, so it wouldn't be a problem if they left Myriadpath Valley for a short while. The temptation of the secret realm still lingered in their hearts, however.

Right as Yumo Diyan was about to leave, Suishen Ranxing, who had remained silent the entire time, said, "I won't go to Skydome."

His decisive words shocked Yumo Diyan and Qitian Muyu. Dammit! Qitian Muyue thought.

Yumo Diyan's brows furrowed, then he snickered, "What’re you scheming this time? How are you not putting the needs of the Three Exalted Houses above your own? If we don't stand united, we’ll be eradicated for good! Do you think the women in your house can tame that monster?"

Suishen Ranxing turned his blazing eyes to him. "Shut up! I don't see the need. You two houses were the ones who started fighting among each other in the Yin-Yang World. That's what started all this. If the same thing happens when all of you go there, you'll just start fighting each other again. Don't pretend you don't have ulterior motives. You know better than anyone what you’re like deep down."

"You!" Yumo Diyan's face contorted with rage, but he couldn't deny that logic. He was worried that House Qitian would be tempted once more and turn against House Yumo again. They had already lost the senior madame. If he was wiped out as well, it would be over for House Yumo.

House Qitian had a reputation of turning on their allies and had completely lost House Yumo's trust.

Qitian Muyu seemed rather awkward after hearing Suishen Ranxing's words. He struggled to find an answer. Even though he wouldn't do something like that, he couldn't predict his father's actions.

"You're still trying to blame us even after everything that’s happened? If you don't go and look, are you going to let Li Tianming get stronger? If we don't destroy his lair, it's only a matter of time until Myriadpath Valley perishes!" Qitian Muyue said. She so desperately wanted to tear off Suishen Ranxing's head, finally having understood why the other two Suishen women hated his guts so much.

Suishen Ranxing burst out laughing. "Myriadpath Valley’s our home turf. We’ve already suffered heavy losses when we left what was close to us to chase a faraway dream. I think there's still something in Myriadpath Valley that Li Tianming wants. Instead of fighting an away battle, why don't we deal with him here? That way, the copper coffin would truly have no master in name and in fact."

Qitian Muyu nodded. "He should eventually return to Myriadpath Valley, since he wants to take over here. Not to mention, he has some ties in House Suishen. There's still your daughter, Suishen Yao. Not even the bravest of heroes can resist a beauty. That’s the only way we have to deal with him."

"There might be a good chance that you'll be able to kill him once he comes for your daughter. However, are you willing to turn against Suishen Jiguang and Suishen Xiyue? Have you fallen out with them? Aren't you afraid that House Suishen will fracture to protect Li Tianming?" Yumo Diyan sneered.

"Since the foundations of all three of our houses have been threatened and he turned out to be much stronger than we expected, I’ll naturally exterminate him right away!" Suishen Ranxing's eyes blazed with determination.

"We have to find a chance! Seek them out. I'll hold the women back for you while you do the deed. If anyone in House Suishen opposes you, you don't need to lift a finger. Just don't stop us from doing what we need to do," Yumo Diyan said. He did feel like going to Skydome was going to be rather dangerous. Threats aside, the temptation there would be enough to drive the Three Exalted Houses to cannibalize each other once more.

The three Qitians turned and looked at Suishen Ranxing, awaiting his decision.

Suishen Ranxing asked, "Will you immediately go to investigate the copper coffin after he’s killed?"

They didn't say a word; it was obvious. Seeing that that was the case, Suishen Ranxing had a few things in mind. When they finally started competing again, it would be down to their own abilities once more.

"Since all three houses have decided that they’ve had enough of fighting each other over scraps and to uphold the Myriadpath Sacred Code, why can't you forget about getting an edge over the rest? Haven't you lost enough? Or are you saying that you haven't let go of your grudges toward each other?" Suishen Ranxing questioned, causing them to glare at each other with grit teeth.

He stood in their midst and said, "How about this, let House Suishen be the mediator. Swear on the Myriadpath Sacred Code and your respective ancestors that any side that instigates conflict between us in the next thousand years will be wiped out by the other two houses for good. They’ll be buried and cursed for eternity by us and our forebears!"
