Liora stood still in one of the private vault chambers deep inside Luxoria Castle.

She quickly called Lucius with their connection.

"Master, I have something interesting for you to see."

A moment passed before a soft hum echoed.

Lucius Luxoria appeared from a corridor, stepping into the room.

His eyes gleamed as he folded his hands behind his back.

"What is it, Liora?"

Without a word, Liora turned to the side and opened, taking out something from her system vault.

The unconscious bodies of Vernyx and Scaldrith dropped onto the metal floor.

Both were bruised, armor cracked, wires sparking, limbs twitching faintly.

Still alive—but fully passed out.

Lucius raised a brow.

His smile widened.

"Well now…"

He slowly walked around the two hybrids, crouching slightly beside Vernyx.

"Humanoid beasts with machine fusion…"

He turned to Scaldrith's still form.

"Clean limb coordination. Cybernetic nervous systems… and a blend of organic and mechanical tissue."

He stood up and looked at Liora.

"These must be the hybrids I heard about from Fiona's stream, aren't they?"

Liora nodded.

"Yes. They're man-made humanoid beasts."

"Created by the Aurelius vaults. Not natural. Not bonded to the world."

Lucius crossed his arms, thinking.

"So this is what Aurelius has been hiding…"

"One's reptilian—command type."

"The other's serpentine—silent assassin."

Liora added, "And both were designed to fight like people, not beasts."

Lucius smirked.

"A shame they ran into you."

Liora said nothing.

Lucius chuckled softly.

"I'm very interested now."

"So this is one of Aurelius' top projects, huh?"

"Really interesting."

He turned and snapped his fingers.

"Liline," he said clearly.

"Please open the dissecting analysis room."

The wall beside him shimmered.

A soft light pulsed outward.

Then, from the wall, Liline appeared.

She bowed slightly, her voice as gentle as always.

"Yes, Master Lucius."

Her eyes shifted toward the two unconscious hybrids on the ground.

Her expression didn't change, but she blinked once.

"…These are not beasts from this region."

Lucius smirked.

"Correct. They're not natural beasts at all."

He gestured casually toward Vernyx and Scaldrith, who were still unconscious.

"They're hybrids—machines and monsters, fused into humanoid weapons."

Liline tilted her head slightly.

"From the Aurelius vault, I assume?"

Liora answered with a nod.

"Yes. They were strong… but not strong enough."

Lucius chuckled.

"Well done, as usual."

Liline turned to Lucius. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

"The dissecting analysis room is ready. Do you want full detail scans?"

Lucius nodded.

"Yes. Everything. Internal structure, nerves, mechanical signals, core implants, and combat reflex mapping."

"I want to know what makes them tick."

Liline raised her hand, and a soft panel appeared in the air, glowing with blue code.

"They will be transferred now."

Two glowing platforms appeared under Vernyx and Scaldrith.

Their bodies slowly lifted from the floor.

Faint sparks still flickered from Vernyx's broken fangs and Scaldrith's arm wires.

Lucius watched carefully.

"Liline, make sure they don't wake up during the process."

"They may look broken… but Aurelius weapons always have backup tricks."

Liline smiled faintly.

"They will be fully restrained. No energy allowed in or out without my permission."

Lucius nodded in approval.

"Perfect."

As the two hybrids floated through the vault doors, Lucius glanced at Liora.

"Did Fiona take the bunny?"

"Yes," Liora replied. "She brought her back safely."

"She wanted her to rest before meeting you."

Lucius chuckled.

"That's fine."

"I'm more interested in what these two have inside them first."

He turned toward the vault.

"Let's take a look…"

"…at Aurelius' secrets."

And with that, the doors closed softly behind them.

---

Lucius stood quietly near the glowing chamber wall.

He watched Liline working from the center of the room.

Her form moved gently through the air, data screens floating around her.

Her eyes glowed faintly as she processed everything.

Lucius's eyes narrowed slightly.

Liline had changed.

He could feel it.

After upgrading her into a Divine-tier spirit beast, everything in Luxoria Castle had become sharper, faster… cleaner.

Even this analysis room looked more advanced than before.

Lucius smirked.

All thanks to the hack points he used.

He had so many now that even upgrading Liline to Divine Tier had been easy.

He stepped forward.

"Liline," he said calmly, hands behind his back, "what have you found so far?"

Liline turned slowly, her form soft but steady.

"Yes, Master Lucius."

"I have completed the first scan of both hybrids."

"They are… more complicated than expected."

Lucius tilted his head slightly.

"Oh?"

Liline nodded.

"They each have numerous DNA patterns."

"They are made with roughly 60% beast DNA and 40% human DNA."

Lucius raised an eyebrow.

"Interesting…"

"So they're more beast than man—but still close enough to function like a soldier."

"Exactly," Liline replied.

She swiped one screen toward him.

"And they also added advanced tech to help suppress the wild instincts of the beast side."

"Such as?"

Liline listed softly.

"Implants that reduce aggression."

"Neural chips that can trigger sleep, hypnosis, or even instant death if needed."

Lucius's eyes sharpened slightly.

"They added suicide triggers?"

"Yes," Liline said. "They were designed for control. Not freedom."

Lucius smirked again.

"Aurelius always did love chains."

He walked slowly around the glowing room.

"Did you find anything else?"

Liline nodded.

"There are signal receivers buried in their spines."

"They only respond to high-tier vault commands."

"Without those commands, they default to auto-combat mode… or freeze entirely."

Lucius hummed softly, his eyes still on the glowing data screens.

"Failsafe weapons with human minds," he repeated.

"Tell me, Liline… what about their intelligence?"

He turned slightly, thinking back to the stream.

"From what I saw, they seemed… clever. Not like wild beasts."

Liline nodded, her soft voice steady.

"Yes. Their mental level is quite high."

"I would say about the same as a smart human teenager."

Lucius raised an eyebrow. "That smart?"

"They can think fast, react, and even plan," Liline continued.

"But their minds were set up to be proud of their survival as hybrids."

"And also trained to be Aurelius' top soldiers."

Lucius folded his arms.

"So, in short… they aren't just weapons."

"They're loyal."

"To Aurelius."

Liline nodded again. "Yes. Very loyal. You could say they were programmed to follow."

Lucius smirked, his silver eyes glowing.

"Can you hack that loyalty?"

Liline smiled faintly.

"Of course I can."

"It won't be easy… but it's possible."

Lucius chuckled.

"Good."

"Because I don't want to destroy them."

"I want to turn them."

"Let Aurelius watch their best weapons bow to me instead."
