After lunch, answering all their questions, and helping them catch up on the topics they'd missed during the week, Daniel finally managed to return to his room.

He dropped onto his bed and let out a sigh of relief—he had really missed the comfort of his bed.

He picked up his phone and checked it. There weren't many new messages, but the two he had been waiting for had come in.

Mr. August had messaged him about four days ago saying that his training room was ready and he could come to the Awakened Association for inspection and practice.

His friend Fatty Joe had also messaged him yesterday, saying, "I'll be back in Sentkis in two days," which meant tomorrow.

Daniel glanced at the clock and saw it was around 8 p.m. There wasn't really much he could do at this hour, and it was probably better to rest until tomorrow.

He closed his eyes and went to sleep—though not in the same clothes he'd worn in the Celestial Domain. He had changed out of them at the tower before leaving.

The next morning, he woke up to sunlight shining on his face. He did a few light stretches and went downstairs.

"Did you sleep well?" Alice was sitting at the table eating her cereal. Daniel playfully pinched her cheek and walked to the fridge.

He grabbed some cereal and milk and poured a bowl for himself.

"Do you have somewhere to go today?" Liana looked at her son and asked.

"The Awakened Association. The head of the Association wants to see me."

"Then take Alice with you to the Academy. I'm going for a walk with an old friend today."

Daniel nodded, and after finishing breakfast, the two of them headed to the building's parking garage. Thankfully, the car was finally repaired, so they didn't have to take a taxi.

Daniel had been thinking about buying a new car, but since they were planning to move to the capital, he decided to wait until then.

They got in the car and set off.

"You know you've gotten really famous lately, right?" Alice, who had been silent the whole way, suddenly said.

"For what?"

"Did you forget they mentioned your name on the news? All my friends know you're my brother now, and god, you can't imagine how many fangirls you have." Alice looked genuinely bothered.

If it was just because of clearing that dungeon, Alice didn't think her friends would become such big fans of her brother. But unfortunately, his photo had been shown on the news too—and thanks to his good looks, he had basically turned into a celebrity.

"Hahaha, I never thought my little sister's friends would become my fans," Daniel laughed. He really didn't expect the news to have that much impact.

After that, he dropped his sister off at the academy entrance and told her to be careful. Alice nodded, said goodbye, and Daniel headed toward the Awakened Association.

Once he arrived, he parked the car and went inside toward August's office, making sure to send him a message to let him know he was here.

He waited a bit until the door to August's office finally opened and a young man walked out. As soon as Daniel saw the guy, he instinctively went on full alert.

The young man's face looked somewhat like Aron's, but he was taller and even more handsome.

"Thank you very much for your help, Mr. August," the young man bowed slightly toward August as he stepped out.

"Be sure to come back whenever you have time," August replied with a smile.

The young man nodded and walked past Daniel without even glancing at him.

Once he was gone, Daniel let out a quiet sigh. He recognized that man—he was the eldest son of Kilous Rygar and Aron's older brother.

But what was he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to be in the capital?

"So, you're finally back from the Celestial Domain, huh, kid?" August came up to Daniel and clapped a hand on his shoulder.

"I was starting to get tired," Daniel replied, and the two of them headed inside August's office.

"Please, take a seat."

"Can I ask why the eldest son of the Scionblade Guild Leader was here?" Daniel sat down and crossed his legs as he asked.

"So you recognized him. Honestly, I was surprised he showed up too. As far as I know, he's extremely busy. But as for why he came here... sorry, I can't say anything about that," August answered.

Daniel sighed. He didn't expect to run into Aron's brother so soon. Fortunately, it didn't seem like the guy had come here because of him.

Still, why would he come here at all? As far as Daniel knew, there wasn't anything in this city that would catch his interest.

Daniel decided not to dwell on it for now. If needed, he'd look into it later.

"Anyway, it looks like you've gotten even stronger than the last time we met," August said with some surprise.

Daniel's rank hadn't changed much, but it was obvious that his overall power had significantly increased. That kind of growth in such a short time was seriously impressive—though from someone who reached Rank D in just four days, it wasn't unexpected.

"Thanks, but let's get to the main point. I heard the training room I requested is ready?"

"Yeah, I got you a training room with the best tech I could arrange. If you want, you can test it out today."

"Definitely. I've got some free time right now."

"Follow me," August said, standing up. The two left the office and exited the building.

August led Daniel to another building inside the Association's premises—a restricted area where entrance required an identity card.

After August's identity was confirmed, they entered and used an elevator to go three floors underground.

On the way, many people greeted August, and they passed several rooms until they finally stopped in front of one whose door, unlike any Daniel had seen before, looked holographic.

With a closer look, Daniel realized all the rooms in this area had similar doors. Even the walls looked strange and were clearly not made of concrete or bricks.

"Place your Awakened ID card on the scanner," August told Daniel.

Daniel nodded and placed his card on the scanner.

[ Welcome, Mr. Daniel Noir ]

The holographic door disappeared, and the two of them entered.
