Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 81: Transcendent Scripture
Daniel nodded and without thinking too much, walked over to one of the empty tablets and sat cross-legged in front of it.
He glanced at the tablet. There were sentences written on it, but they made no sense to him — clearly, it was a language he didn't know.
He sighed. How exactly was he supposed to understand this tablet and the skill written on it? This was his first time, and he really had no experience.
Maybe he should just go back and tell Atlas he can't do it? Although, before he could do that, a sudden voice echoed in his mind:
[Fallen Blessing is activating...]
Suddenly, his eyes turned golden, and the aura around him began to shift violently. It looked like the words on the tablet had come to life and were moving, flowing into his mind.
All the words he couldn't understand suddenly began to make sense — thousands upon thousands of pieces of information poured into his brain and he started to comprehend them.
[Ding... You are comprehending the Transcendent Scripture]
[You have comprehended 1% of the Transcendent Scripture]
"Transcendent Scripture of magic? So that's what it's called." He focused all his awareness on comprehending the Transcendent Scripture. He had a limited amount of time and, as far as he knew, he could only comprehend it once.
Meanwhile, Atlas was stroking his beard while watching him. Suddenly, a portal opened beside him, and a well-dressed middle-aged man in the official uniform of the Magic Tower appeared.
"Greetings, Tower Master," the man gave a slight bow as a sign of respect.
"May I ask what you're doing here, Lord Atlas?" he asked respectfully, but cautiously. Meeting the Master of the Magic Tower wasn't something easy.
Even for him—one of the tower's top advisors—seeing the Tower Master in person was rare. Yet here he was, suddenly appearing on the first floor with no warning.
Naturally, this had caught the attention of him and many others in the Magic Tower. More importantly, they had noticed that a young boy had come with him.
They couldn't even begin to imagine why the Tower Master would personally bring a young man here. Could he be his student?
"Ignore me. I'm just here to check something," Atlas said calmly. He could sense the thoughts of the man in front of him, but didn't care at all.
"May I ask who that young man is?" The middle-aged man followed Atlas's gaze and spotted the handsome white-haired boy.
"A talented one." His words were simple, but to the middle-aged man, they revealed a lot.
'What?! For the Tower Master to call him talented… what kind of monster is this kid?' He looked at Daniel and tried to assess him.
But what he found shocked him. The boy had no mana rings — meaning he wasn't a mage. He frowned and checked if he at least had a mana core.
And to his surprise, he didn't have one either — meaning he wasn't even a warrior. So maybe a healer? Or a mancer?
But why would someone like that take the Magic Tower's test? If the applicant isn't a mage, they can't even comprehend the text on the tablets.
"I know what you're thinking. I also want to see if he can understand the technique on that tablet or not," Atlas replied plainly.
There were many reasons behind his decision to let Daniel take the Magic Tower's test — to evaluate his talents, his limits.
And to see if he was lying. The kid claimed to be a magic warrior, but Atlas found that hard to believe.
He had seen others with dual classes, and this kid didn't resemble any of them. Besides, contrary to what people might think, dual-class climbers usually had average talents.
He had never heard of them being particularly gifted — which made sense for the sake of balance.
"So... isn't this dangerous? Others don't know, but if a non-mage tries to comprehend a tablet, they'll get paralyzed," the man said with hesitation.
It was a defensive mechanism set on the tablets by the Central Magic Tower.
"If that happens, then I was wrong, and this kid really has no talent in magic," Atlas replied coldly, making the man sigh.
He sometimes forgot just how ruthless the Tower Master really was.
"But I don't think that'll happen. I trust him." After a moment of silence, the grand mage said, causing the man's eyebrows to rise.
"Lord Atlas... how much do you think he can comprehend?"
"If he succeeds, it should be somewhere between 30 to 50 percent," Atlas replied, which stunned the middle-aged man.
30 to 50 percent? That's no small amount — especially for a young boy with no mana rings. Mana rings drastically increased comprehension speed.
"What? That fast?" Just then, the tablet began to turn wooden.
Even Atlas looked at it with slight surprise. He had expected Daniel to be able to comprehend the tablet, but not at this speed.
"At this rate, your guess might be right," the man admitted, feeling like he'd been slapped by his own assumptions, eyes fixed on the tablet in disbelief.

Daniel looked at the description and was stunned. Double the mana production? Even to him, it sounded like a dream.
This way, his mana recovery rate would skyrocket. Especially since, due to his large mana pool, recovery normally took a long time.
But now, with this skill, that wouldn't be a problem anymore. Without wasting time, he focused again on comprehending the tablet.
