"Dacheng, do you really have to do this?" When Yang Chunhua followed him, she saw the man packing his bags in the apartment where he stayed alone. She thought that the man would calm down and forget the plan of leaving. The two of them had grown up together, and she had helped him many times.

It seemed a bit cold for Dacheng to leave without caring about her.

Dacheng, however, didn't even look at her as he continued to put his things inside the luggage. He said to Yang Chunhua, "I have had enough. Don't you see how that woman talks to me? She acts like she is better than the rest, and it's annoying to see. You stay here and let that woman act smug for a while, but once she and Lei Qian fall out, bring the entire team to me."

If possible, he would have wanted to take the Bai brothers with him as well, but he knew that they wouldn't want to go with him. No matter how shameless that woman was, she was, in the end, their sister.

They would certainly support her.

Yang Chunhua was helpless when she heard Dacheng's words. She had no idea what to say to him. When she entered his apartment, she had no thoughts of leaving with Dacheng. If anything, she just wanted to stop him and let the man understand that there was no need for him to disrupt the peace of the team. It was good to live like this as well.

There was no need to be stubborn about such things. He could always talk things out with Bai Meiyue; she was not an unreasonable woman.

What was more, the situation outside was not good. If Dacheng was not careful, he could even lose his life.

On the other hand, living with Bai Meiyue was much better. Yang Chunhua thought that this life was much better than looking around for a safe shelter on the street. The life they were living was stable and fulfilled; why was Dacheng trying to ruin everything for himself?

However, what made Yang Chunhua frown was that this man was actually scheming against Bai Meiyue and even using her as an internal spy for it.

What was she in his eyes? How could he ask her to do such a thing? It was bad enough that she brought him along and caused such trouble in the team, and now he wanted her to act as a spy for him and cause a rift in the entire team for him? Was he not worried about the weird gazes that Yang Chunhua would receive due to him?

Did he even think about her when he asked her to act as an insider?

Yang Chunhua sucked in a breath as she felt her heart crack under the weight of the words that the man said to her. In an instant, she couldn't help but feel like an unwanted lackey who was used at will. Did Dacheng even look at her as a woman?

Suddenly, Yang Chunhua didn't know how to answer that question. Just because he wanted to leave, he had already made the decisions for her? If he wanted to leave, then he would leave, but he also arranged the tasks for her. Did he consider her situation after he left?

Everyone would blame her for causing unnecessary trouble.

Inside the apartment, Yang Chunhua looked at the man who had finished packing and opened her mouth to tell him how she felt, but then stopped herself. Did she even need to say those words? If the man truly cared for her, then he would have considered her situation before leaving.

She watched Dacheng finish packing his clothes and supplies, and then, without even looking at her, he turned around on his feet and stepped out of the penthouse without showing any regret on his face.

Yang Chunhua watched him leave with a lonely air surrounding her.

She raised her head and turned to look at the sky that had darkened with the weather turning even worse. She sighed and stepped out of the apartment where Dacheng used to live, and the second she stepped out, she ran into Mo He, who smiled at her with an awkward expression.

Though he didn't say anything, Yang Chunhua knew that there were subtle changes in the team because of Dacheng.

At the same time, Dacheng, who went downstairs to the parking lot to grab his truck, ran into Lu Yin, who was holding her luggage. She tipped her head up and sniffly said, "What made you so late?"

On the other hand, Bai Meiyue had no idea that she had finally shaken off two headaches at once. She wanted to go out and look for the medical supplies, but she had to change the plan because of the Meng siblings. Their situation was very rare, and for the safety of her family, she needed to stay back and study more about their condition.

The last thing she wanted was to get slapped in the face if these two siblings turned into zombies like Lu Yin said earlier.

Thus, she planned to stay in the penthouse and see what was going on with the glowing orb. She asked her brother to take care of the medical supplies for the time being, as she couldn't leave.

While she was studying the orbs, the rest of the team went out to look for supplies, and even though Bai Meiyue was not going anywhere, she took out a few supplies that she had stored in the space pocket and placed them in the kitchen to show others that even if she was not going out, she was not slacking off.

Though the people in her team wondered where the supplies came from, Bai Meiyue simply made a few lies to avoid answering the questions. She did this for one particular reason.

To avoid the ire of those who were working hard.
