Chapter 304: Chapter 178 Little Rock_3
"Is everything so cheap in a small town?"
Bailey was a bit surprised, "With your figure and looks, you would make at least 200 US Dollars even in the poorest neighborhoods! Why not move to a big city?"
The girl became interested upon hearing this, "Are you guys from Los Angeles? Are you heading to the Starlight Casino in Little Rock? I know where that place is! Do you need me to guide you? Just 10 US Dollars! Without a local guide, I guarantee you won’t even be able to enter the casino’s main gate!"
"10 US Dollars, does that include any other services?" Bailey eagerly gazed at her long legs.
"Of course not, it’s just the guiding fee! If you want something exciting, how about going to the motel with me! 50 US Dollars for the whole night, I guarantee your satisfaction!" The Caucasian girl said boldly.
"Boss, what do you think..." Bailey looked back to consult the General Sect Leader.
"Do as you please, you’re free to choose, I’m not holding you back," said Allen Zhang, waving his hand dismissively.
Sieg, however, was stern, brooking no nonsense, advocating against vice, "Don’t forget what we came here for, Sergeant Bailey."
Bailey: "..." What the hell, man?
I’m just trying to flirt a little, grab a quick meal, and you’re throwing military ranks at me? Alright, alright, you’re a Captain, big deal, you’re just sour grapes!
I’m a Sergeant and you’re a Captain, so what? I’m still from the noble Air Force!
"Is he your boss? Are you ex-military? He must be much richer than you, huh! Hey boss! I’m Lanni, you can find me if you need, I’ll make sure to serve you right," Lanni said enthusiastically, setting her sights on the General Sect Leader.
"How about you take us to the casino first?" Allen Zhang pulled out 10 US Dollars and said with a smile, "Consider this your payment."
"No problem, boss," Lanni immediately abandoned Bailey and moved toward the generously tipping General Sect Leader.
She took the money and led the way, "I guarantee I can get you smoothly into that casino and make sure you have fun! And if you want more fun, I can help with that too, but you’ll have to take turns."
"I think I don’t need that for now," Allen Zhang said with a smile, declining politely. The General Sect Leader, having seen much of foreign tastes, wasn’t really interested in the local girl despite her lively and appealing personality.
But without being outgoing, she wouldn’t make this money.
Following Lanni, Allen Zhang headed towards the Starlight Casino. She also introduced the local customs to the three men. This town aimed to break free from the influence of Los Angeles and industrialize, but sadly it failed.
Now it’s barely surviving, with only a few motels and mechanic shops hiring, welcoming foreign guests. Most youths have left Little Rock for big cities or joined street gangs, somewhat mirroring the poor neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
Soon they arrived at Starlight Casino where Lanni naturally greeted the two black bouncers at the door.
"Hey! Bro! See, I’ve brought you some new business, remember not to stop me next time I come here! Okay? The customer is king!"
The two black bouncers exchanged glances but did not show her any favor, instead asking the three men, "Guests, did you come from Los Angeles or some other city? Has this girl done anything to you?"
"No, why? Is there anything wrong with her? She seemed reliable enough, waiting by the roadside and speaking sensibly, so we just hired her as a guide," Allen Zhang said, puzzled.
Hearing this, the bouncer’s expression softened, "You’re very lucky not to have encountered any trouble. Recently, many guests who’ve come here were pickpocketed. This girl belongs to a gang of teenagers who engage in sexual scams and robberies. You’d better stay away from her."
"Don’t the police care?" Sieg was surprised.
"They’re mostly minors, and the most they ask for is a couple hundred US Dollars, which isn’t much for travelers and gamblers. They are usually just given a verbal warning by the police unless someone is physically harmed, so nobody really cares."
The black bouncer said, "This is very common in Little Rock, it’s a chaotic place. I’ve warned you already, just be careful."
With that, he didn’t say more and invited them into the casino.
