Almighty Father System-Chapter 131: Trotting Around.
Leo and Theseus came to the outer town and they came to the carpenters. The people were surprised to see Leo and the two people. They bowed in greeting and the young man waved his hand as he said, "Come, we have work to do, introduce yourselves later."
The people were surprised and they all stopped doing what they were doing and gathered around a table. Where Leo had taken up pencil and paper to draw a sketch. The people around the table looked at the drawing were surprised. After five minutes Leo finished drawing and said, "This is a wheelbarrow, this is made from wooden planks and you can adjust the size as you like, I had to add wooden ribs to make the body a little stronger. Can you make ten of these in two hours?"
The person next to him asked, "Sire, we can finish it within two hours but it would not have that finesse."
Leo shook his head and said, "You just make it sturdy, and the handles shall be polished so that the handlers don't get splintered. I will give you two silvers for one of these, and I need ten of them. That would be twenty silvers, do you think that is okay?" freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
The carpenter nodded and said, "Sire, I will finish this on time, with all of us here, this would be easy to handle."
Leo looked at Crawford and said, "Mister Crawford, you can take the charge here, I will be going to the fields and handle the matters there. Theseus, come with me."
The glassman nodded and they both headed back to the fields in the inner town. Leo said, "Theseus, you see this bamboo framing around this land?"
The person nodded in confusion and the young man said, "I want you and your people to carefully line all these frames with glass."
Theseus was surprised and Leo said, "When the glass panes are erected around the field it would be easier to keep these fields warmer in the cold. The sunlight heat would stay trapped inside the glass cabin. The crops won't die."
Leo had converted about one quarter of the field into a greenhouse to support the cultivation during winters. Theseus was shocked to hear this, but he nodded and said, "Your Grace, we would be able to finish it all by tomorrow evening."
Leo nodded and said, "Good, I am looking forward to it."
A couple of hours later, the carpenters finished the wheelbarrows and then Theseus and his people began to move the glass. Leo watched over their work for a few minutes, and even helped them with the placement issues before he went back to the Palace. Lily was wearing a set of riding gear, a pant and long shoes with a shirt. She looked like a noble lady. Leo smiled and asked, "My love, where are you going dressed like that?"
Lily replied, "I am going to take Vivian out for a walk."
Vivian was a pony that Leo had gotten for his daughter. The pony was gentler than the other horses that were bred for wars, and the short size of the pony was idol for Lily to ride for a long time. The young man smiled and asked, "Do you want Baba to accompany you?"
Lily turned around and nodded heavily with a big smile on her face. Leo smiled and said, "Fine, go, bring Vivian around, I will inform your mother, lest she gets worried."
Lily nodded and dashed to the stables. Leo looked at the maid on the side, and said, "Can you please inform Snow that I would be taking Lily with me?"
The young maid bowed and replied, "Yes, Sire."
That said, she dashed inside, and Leo said, "Wait!"
The maid stopped and Leo sighed as he said, "Ask her if she wishes to go for a ride as well? She can mount my horse."
The maid realized that she was a bit too eager to earn merit and almost missed on the complete command. She bowed and said, "Pardon me for my clumsiness, Your Grace."
Leo nodded and said, "Next time, listen well."
The maid nodded and left, although Leo was not harsh or arrogant, but he never allowed anyone to act indisciplined. After a few minutes, Snow came out wearing a similar attire and looked at Leo who was patting the neck of Maximus thinking if he should get a few horses to raise back in the real world, after all, the system had already gifted him a piece of land to build a mansion there.
Snow looked at him and asked, "What are you thinking about?"
Leo smiled as he looked at her and said, "Just that no matter what my wife does, she looks so beautiful, I was wondering how did you even end up with me."
Snow blushed a little and waved her hand, as she said, "Was it not you who seduced me by practicing your sword before my window?"
Leo chuckled, he didn't expect that in this world they would have such a love story. The lady went to the stable and shortly after she came out behind Lily who was sitting on the back of her pony Vivian.
Snow patted the nape of her mare and said, "Lily, don't pull on the noose that much, Vivian will feel hurt."
Lily replied, "Okay, Ma."
Leo saw them and hopped onto the back of his own steed and then the family of three trotted out of the palace slowly. The roads of the city were not made of a strong element and it was all just soil that was sprinkled with water three times a day to keep it firm, however, when it rained it became headache for people.
Lily hummed a rhyme as she led the pack, and Snow and Leo followed behind her slowly. Snow asked, "Love, what are they doing over there in the fields?"
Leo explained to her how a greenhouse works, but Lily suddenly said, "Wow such a pretty palace."
The two elders looked at each other with an amused expression on their faces. The people on the way greeted them with great respect. It was rare for the landlord of the town to come out and that too with the ladies. The elder folks loved Lily, because she was almost able to call out all of them by name and ask them if they were okay or the weather was too cold.
On the other hand, the children were too entranced by the beautiful Snow and Leo. They wanted to grow up and become as noble and valiant as the two people. The other town was doing better now, they had clean spaces and the people looked healthy. There were all three floor buildings in the outer town, and although there was no cement the construction was not bad.
After riding around for a month, Snow asked, "I heard from Crawford that you wish to go vegetarian till the winters are upon us? Do you really thing that would solve the problem?"
Leo shook his head and said, "I want to do something much more substantial but the Viscount Mansion is obstructing my path."
Snow sighed and replied, "We can establish a merchant fleet of our own. We don't have to go to the Viscount, directly engage the people in small towns like ours, and buy stuff from them. It does not need to be bought in big quantities."
Leo was surprised and then the cogs of his brain began to spin and he said, "So, how about we just send a couple of our soldiers without their armors, and just swords to approach various towns, and buy stuff out before rushing back. How does that sound?"
Lily suddenly turned her head and said, "It would be nice if they could get chicken for all of the people. I heard from Grandpa Tie, they have not had eggs in the past two years."
Leo frowned and then he said, "While we can do something like giving all houses four chickens to raise and harvest eggs from them. However, it would be difficult to procure such a huge number without alerting the nobles."
Snow replied, "We can give them to collective groups and they can decide who will get to eat the eggs on what day. A circulation method, this will ensure that the people get the nutrients they need. After winter passes, we can have them keep the chicken and raise them to meet their dietary requirements."
Leo nodded and then he said, "I knew it! I really lack when it comes to using such methods."
Snow chuckled and said, "The secret lies in the fact that you wish to learn about new things."
Leo looked at her and they both started laughing. After an hour they were heading back to the palace but they were taking the western path and Lily said, "Baba, look, what is that?"
She pointed at a shrub that caused Leo to pull the reins and force Maximus to freeze and he exclaimed, "We are going to be rich."
The lady looked at him and asked, "What is so nice about a weed shrub?"
Leo suddenly chuckled and said, "You have no idea. I will tell you after we get home."
The three people left the place quickly, because Leo wanted to bring back a few farmers back to transport the shrub back.
